What does the Bible say about the role of Christ as a mediator?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible describes Christ as the sole mediator between God and man, fulfilling the roles of prophet, priest, and king.

According to Scripture, Jesus Christ is the one and only mediator between God and humanity, as stated in 1 Timothy 2:5. He fulfills the roles of prophet, priest, and king. As a prophet, He communicates the truth of God to the people. As a priest, He mediates God’s blessing through His sacrificial offerings. As a king, He governs and protects His people. These three offices are united in Christ, who was anointed with the Holy Spirit to accomplish His redemptive work.
