What does the Bible say about trusting in God during difficult times?

Answered in 4 sources

The Bible teaches that we should commit our way to the Lord and trust in Him for deliverance in times of trouble (Psalm 37:5).

The Word of God encourages us to commit our way unto the Lord and trust Him to bring it to pass (Psalm 37:5). This act of faith is vital, especially when situations seem impossible, as exemplified by the account in 2 Kings 7, where God provided deliverance to the besieged city of Samaria in an unexpected manner. Just as the lepers stepped out in faith, trusting that God would provide, we too are urged to trust in God's providential care, knowing that nothing is too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:17). This encouragement to trust indicates that our hope is not in our own capabilities but in God’s sovereignty and mercy.
