What does the Bible say about who are God's children?

Answered in 1 source

God's children are those chosen by God before time, who have faith in Christ Jesus.

According to Galatians 3:26, 'For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.' The children of God are not determined by ethnic background, gender, or social status, but by their union with Christ through faith. This means that true believers, those who have been elected by God before the foundation of the world, make up the true children of God. Paul clarifies that it is not about outward credentials, such as being a Jew or Greek, bond or free, male or female, but about being one in Christ, who is their source of identity and acceptance with God.
