What does the Bible say about who finds God?

In the passage from John 1, we see instances where disciples think they have found the Messiah, but the underlying truth is that God actively seeks out His people. Scripture is clear that 'there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God' (Romans 3:11). This emphasizes the sovereign grace of God in salvation, highlighting that if left to our own efforts, we would remain lost.
