What does the Bible teach about our response to being shaped by God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that we should respond with humility and willingness to be molded by God’s hands.

As believers, our response to being shaped by God should be one of humility and submission. Isaiah 45:9 warns against striving against our Maker, highlighting the futility of resisting God's design for our lives. Instead, we are encouraged to recognize that God, our heavenly Potter, knows what He is doing, as He shapes us to be more Christ-like. This process may include trials and pressures that we might not initially understand. However, embracing His authority and design allows us to find peace and purpose even in difficult circumstances, knowing that these are part of His plan to prepare us for our eternal home.
