What is the difference between the earthly Paradise and the celestial Paradise?

Answered in 1 source

Earthly Paradise was temporary and tainted by sin, whereas celestial Paradise is eternal and free from evil.

The earthly Paradise, represented by the garden of Eden, was a temporary state where Adam found delight before sin entered the world. It was characterized by earthly pleasures but ultimately lost due to disobedience. In contrast, the celestial Paradise is eternal and untainted, where redeemed believers will dwell with God forever, free from sin and sorrow. The saints in Heaven will experience unending joy, perfect communion with God, and the absence of temptation and evil, unlike the first Paradise which was susceptible to sin and loss.
