What is the relationship between faith and hope?

Answered in 1 source

Faith and hope are inseparable; hope is the expectation rooted in the promises of God realized through faith.

In the Christian life, faith and hope are tightly woven together, with hope being the outcome of true faith. Faith accepts and believes God's Word, while hope lays hold of the promises contained within that Word. As pointed out in the message, 'without a promise made, hope has no existence.' Hence, a believer's hope is directly proportional to their faith; as long as one holds genuine faith in Christ, that individual can expect fulfillment of God's promises. This interplay sustains Christians through trials, providing assurance even when circumstances seem bleak.
