Why do Christians have privileges greater than those of John the Baptist?

The distinction between the privileges of New Testament believers and those of John the Baptist is significant. Jesus noted that 'the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he' (Luke 7:28). This statement highlights that present-day believers have access to the complete message of the Gospel and the assurance of salvation through Christ.
