Why is Christ referred to as the ark of safety?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the ark of safety as He provides salvation and refuge from spiritual judgment and destruction.

In the narrative of Noah, the ark serves as a vessel of salvation for those who entered, preserving them from destruction during the flood. Similarly, Christ is depicted as our ark of safety because He is the means by which God saves His chosen people from judgment. Just as Noah and his family were secured inside the ark, believers find their security in Christ, who has promised to keep and protect them. John 10:9 illustrates this, stating, 'I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved.' Thus, Christ ensures the secure salvation of those who trust in Him.
