Why is Christian unity important?

Answered in 1 source

Christian unity is vital as it reflects God's glory and promotes peace within the church.

The importance of unity among Christians cannot be overstated. It is foundational to our witness as believers. When we dwell together in harmony, we reflect God’s love and grace to the world around us. Christ himself called for unity among his followers, emphasizing that love and connection should be hallmarks of His disciples. Furthermore, unity allows us to work effectively as one body, carrying forth the mission of the church to declare the gospel and serve others. Without unity, division and strife can hinder our mission and misrepresent Christ to the world.
