Why is it important for Christians to consider Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

Considering Christ is vital for Christians as He is our High Priest and the foundation of our faith, as stated in Hebrews 3:1.

Hebrews 3:1 calls on the believers to 'consider the apostle and high priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.' This reflection on Christ is fundamental to our faith because it reminds us of His role as the mediator between God and humanity. He is not only the messenger of the covenant, but also the one who fulfills the law and embodies God's grace. As we consider His nature, works, and sacrifice, we strengthen our faith and deepen our appreciation for His love and mercy. By keeping Christ central in our thoughts, we are encouraged to live according to His example and accept His teachings, leading us into a closer relationship with God.
