Why is it important for Christians to preach Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

Preaching Christ is vital because it conveys the fullness of the Gospel and reveals the truth of God's nature.

As expressed in the sermon, preaching Christ is the central task of God's messengers. Paul emphasizes that he resolved to know nothing but Jesus Christ and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2), highlighting that the focus of preaching should be on Christ alone. The urgency of preaching arises from the recognition that true understanding and salvation only come through Him. John the Baptist's role as a witness serves as a model that preachers should emulate: to bear witness to the light. By preaching Christ, we provide the world with access to divine knowledge and salvation, as He is the source of life and understanding.
