Why is it important for Christians to spread the Gospel?

Christianity calls every believer to share the Gospel as a central part of their faith and walk with Christ. In 2 Timothy 1:8, Paul urges Timothy not to be ashamed of the Gospel, implying the inherent responsibility to proclaim it boldly. This urgency is further emphasized by Jesus' Great Commission, where He commands believers to go and make disciples of all nations.
