Why is Jesus considered the ultimate prophet?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is deemed the ultimate prophet because He reveals God's will completely and uniquely as both God and man.

Jesus is the culmination of all prophetic voices and revelations. In Hebrews 1:1-2, it states that God spoke through prophets in various ways, but in these last days, He has spoken through His Son, Jesus Christ. Unlike other prophets who merely conveyed messages from God, Jesus is the Word itself, embodying the fullness of divine truth (John 1:1). Through His life, teachings, and sacrificial death, He not only fulfills the role of a prophet but also of a priest and king, which underscores His superiority over all other prophetic figures in the Bible. His divine identity ensures that the messages He delivers are authoritative and trustworthy.
