Why is living out the gospel important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Living out the gospel is essential for manifesting faith and expressing gratitude for the grace received.

Christians are called not only to believe the gospel but also to live it out in their daily lives. This transformed life demonstrates the reality of their faith and manifests the grace they have received. In 2 Peter, the apostle emphasizes that the qualities of godliness must be evident and growing in a believer's life in order to avoid being ineffective (2 Peter 1:8). This does not mean that a Christian's salvation is contingent upon their actions; rather, it solidifies their witness and service to God, leading others to glorify Him. Living out the gospel exemplifies obedience and love, which are at the core of Christian worship.
