that He may touch my eyes and
make me see. Show me the truth and see within
Thy Word, and in Thy books reveal, I see the Lord. Thank you. Go back to 2 Peter 1. Read verses 19-21
with me again. 2 Peter 1 verses 19-21. Peter was speaking of the Lord's
transfiguration, that they were with him and God spoke from heaven,
which voice they heard, and he said in verse 19, ìWe have also
a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye do well that ye
take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place. until
the day dawn and the day star, that's the sun of righteousness,
arise in your hearts, knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy
came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake
as they were moved by the Holy Now, this book you have in your
hand is the inspired, infallible, inerrant word of the living God. This is not the words of men.
This is the word of God. We simply refer to it as the
book, the Bible, the book, God's book. God wrote a book. And in it is his mind, his will,
his purpose, everything we need to know to make us wise unto
salvation. God wrote the book, the Bible. The fact that we have it is a
miracle. The possession of it is a great gift. The belief of
it is an even greater gift. Now, this is not a message to
prove this to be God's Word. Preachers aren't called upon
to prove God, but to preach God. Not called upon to explain, but
to proclaim. God does not prove Himself to
unbelievers. He reveals Himself. And He does
it through this Word. Not to prove it to unbelievers. But what I hope will be accomplished
here tonight is to confirm this in the minds and hearts of God's
people that this is indeed the Word of God upon which we rest
our soul. David said, Remember thy word,
or bring back to memory thy word upon which thou hast caused me
to hope. All our hope is right here. Right here. All right, I will
give you a few things, a brief outline as to how we may know
that this is God's Word. How we may know. Firstly, by
God's testimony concerning it. What God says about it. Secondly,
by both man's rejection of it and reception of it. You're going
to see that in a minute. And then we're going to look
at many infallible evidences. why this is God's Word. Number
one, God's testimony of it. You can be turning to Hebrews
4. Go back a few pages, Hebrews 4. Brother John read in the study
with the men a while ago from Psalm 138, verse 2, and that's
the very first verse I wrote down. God's testimony concerning
His Word is, He said that He has magnified His Word above
all His names. that his word is held in high
esteem, even above his name. It is his name, the word, isn't
it? It is his name. He said in places
like Jeremiah, he said, Is not my word like a fire and like
as a hammer that breaketh the hard heart? He said in places
like Proverbs, my word will give life and light. He says, to deliver
thee from evil, happy is the man that findeth it, the merchandise
of it is better than silver, the game better than gold, length
of days, honor and riches, ways of pleasantness, peace. Here in Hebrews 4, look at this. greatest verses concerning Scripture,
verse 12. Hebrews 4, verse 12. For the
Word of God is quick, that means alive. Alive, living Word. It's not just bare words on paper. It's just not ink on paper. This is the voice of God. This
is the Word of God. Quick, alive, and gives life,
and powerful. How powerful? He created all
things by it. He upholds all things by the
power of it. We're going to see more of that
in a moment. Sharper than any two-edged sword, wounds and heals. Kills and makes alive. Pierces
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit. That is,
it goes deep. and the joints in the marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, neither
is there any creature that is not manifest or openly revealed
in God's sight. All things are made naked. All
things are made naked and open unto the eyes of Him with whom
we have to do it." These are the eyes of our Lord. This is
what searches us out, finds us out, the Word of God. All Scripture is given by inspiration
of God. All Scripture, given by inspiration
of God. Profitable. Oh, how profitable. For doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction of righteousness, that the man of
God may be truly furnished unto all good work. We read in our
text here that no Scriptures of any private or personal interpretation. No man sat down, a man like Isaiah,
Jeremiah, they didn't sit down and decide to write a book. No,
God moved them. God told them. From Moses to Malachi, from Jeremiah
to John, God said, write this down. They didn't really write
it, they just took dictation. God spoke it and they wrote it.
They wrote the Word of God. What God says of His Word is
proof that it is His Word. This is my word, he said. In
Psalm 19, it talks about two books, the book of creation.
Clearly, the invisible God is eternal power and Godhead are
clearly revealed by the things that are made so that men are
without excuse. The wrath of God is clearly revealed
from heaven. And Psalm 19 says there's another
book, the law of the Lord. It's perfect. converts the soul,
testimony of the Lord, sure, making wise the simple, and so
on. That's what God says about His Word. How do we know this
is God's Word? Because God said so. And then, the greatest proof
of all, the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. We talk about
it being quick. He came. The Word. In the beginning
was the Word. The Word was with God and the
Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and
dwelt among us. Living proof. The Word of God
personified. Is this the Word of God? Yes.
He came walking. Like in the garden. Remember
when Adam and Eve, the voice of God, came walking in the garden?
Well, the voice of God, Christ, the Word of God, came walking
on planet earth. proving that this is indeed the
Word of God. Secondly, we know this is God's
Word, I say it, by man's rejection and reception of it. See if this
is not so. Man rejects God's Word by nature. A natural man will not receive
the things of God. Receive if not the things of
God. 1 Corinthians 2 says it. Their foolishness unto, neither
can he know. Carnal mind is enmity against
God, Romans 8.7. Man hates the truth. He hates
the truth. Paul wrote to Timothy, he said,
they will turn away their ears from the truth unto fables. Why
is that? Because man is depraved, man
is sinful, man is in captivity to Satan who is the father of
lies, and man loves to have it up. And the Word of God is truth,
and man doesn't want to hear the truth. It turns away his
ears from the truth. I don't think in all these years
I've ever had anybody ask me, what is truth? Most people are
just not interested in what God has to say. Well, the scripture
says that. God says that. They did not like to retain God
in their knowledge. God is not in all their thoughts,
the scripture says. And Isaiah 59 says judgment is
turned way backward. Man's got it all backward. He
made man into a God and God into a man. Got it all wrong. You've got man's will as being
sovereign, and God can't do what he will unless man and his sovereignty
lets him do it. God said in the Proverbs, he
said, I'm going to set these things in order before you. Psalm
50. He said, Thou thoughtest I was
altogether such a one as thyself. And he said, I'm going to reprove
thee and set things in order. Got the cart before the horde.
Man's in God's hands, not vice versa. Judgment is turned way backward.
Man is proof that this is God's Word because man hates it. I
heard Brother Mahan say that in a message the other day. He
said, this must be so because people hate it. Man hates the truth. He hates
it. Man loves darkness rather than
light, and the light exposes us. The light reproves our evil
deeds. So we want to stay out of it.
So what the Lord said, that I've come, since I've come, you have
no covering for your sin, he said. And they wanted to put
the light out. You can't do that. And whatever
humbles man, man hates it. And this book, God's Word, brings
the proud load. the basis of the problem. And all of this is so, man rejects
it because God said he would. God said so. Men will do exactly what God
said. So we know this is God's Word
because man rejects it. And we know it's God's Word because
some believe it. It's a great miracle, as we say,
a great miracle if you believe what you cannot believe and will
not believe by nature. It's a great miracle. It's not
of yourselves. It's a gift of God. If you bow
to and believe God's truth, God's Word, God has worked powerfully
on you and in you to do that. That's proof that it is His Word.
A man can receive nothing, fitting because John the Baptist said
it. A man can receive nothing except it be given him from above.
John 1 says, he came to his own, his own received him not. He
was in the world, the world was made by him, the world knew him
not. He came to his own, his own received him not. But as
many as received him, To them gave he the right or the power
to become the sons of God. Why did they receive him? Which
were born, not of blood, not of the will of the flesh, not
of the will of man, but of God. How were they born? By the same
word, the word of his power, of his own will, but yet he us
with the word of truth. It's a miracle, if you believe
it. Thank God. Paul thanks God for the Thessalonians. He said, I thank God that you
received the Word from us, not as the words of men, but as it
is in truth, the Word of God. You know, most people, especially
women, think that the words of Paul were just that. The words
of Paul, a bigoted bachelor who they think hated women or something.
But that's not so. It's the Word of God. And Paul
thanked God that the Thessalonians received it as the Word of God. It's a miracle. It's a miracle
performed and a gift given. The Word of God. Causing those
who believed a lie to believe the truth. Causing those to suddenly
say, those who believed a lie, to suddenly say, let God be true
and every man a liar. Now that takes the power of God. And our Lord said that, he that
is of God, he that is chosen of God, he that is loved of God,
heareth God's word. He said to Saul, why do you not
hear me? Because you cannot, because you're
not of God. He that is of God, heareth God's
word. My shame, hear my voice. And they'll follow me. Just as really as when our Lord
came by those disciples in those boats, Stan and I were, you saw
us smiling, that's what we were talking about. When the Lord came by those disciples
sitting in those boats and said, follow me. And he turned and
walked. He didn't say, will you please
let me be your personal servant. No. He said, follow me. And he
turned and he walked away. And those grown men, Simon Peter,
the rough, longshoreman, dropped everything, his livelihood, all
his earthly possessions, his boats, his nets. He left his
father and mother and followed him. Why? Because the voice of
the Lord is power. This is God speaking. God doesn't try to tell anybody
anything. That's what men say, don't they?
God's trying to tell me something. No, no, He's not. If He's going
to tell you something, you'll be told and you'll hear it. That's God. That's His Word,
too. Proof that it is God's Word is that some believe it. It's
unbelievable. Thirdly, we know that this is
God's Word by the many infallible proofs or evidences of it. Stay
with me. You'll enjoy this. I hope you've
enjoyed it thus far. The many infallible proofs that
this is God's Word. Number one, the antiquity of
it or the age of it. The first entry into this book
was 3,500 years ago. Where are the books of men written
3,500 years ago? You have one in your lap. 3,500 years ago. The last entry
was 2,000 years ago. What books are men still reading?
3,500 years old. The antiquity of it, the age
of it. Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. The eternal
word of God. Known unto God are all his works
from the beginning of the world. Secondly, we know this is God's
word by how it was brought together and how
it was preserved. This book, God used 40 men. men to write it. Most of them
did not know one another. Some of them did. Some of the
prophets and certainly the apostles. But most of them did not know
one another. And it was written over a period
of 1,500 years. And it tells the same story.
It's in perfect unity and harmony. No contradictions whatsoever.
These men who didn't know each other. Isaiah. Simon. Tell him the same story. Christ
and Him crucified. It was preserved. It's been preserved
from the beginning. It's been preserved. Men have
tried to destroy it, tried to disprove it. They're all dead.
But those who tried to destroy it cannot do so because the master
copy is in heaven. Jeremiah once wrote, when he
wrote, when God had him write his book, there was an evil king
named Jehoiakim. And Jehoiakim was reading there,
having a fellow read it to him, and Jehoiakim took a penknife
and says he would cut off a page and throw it in the fire, what
he didn't like. Well, he ended up throwing it
all in the fire. You know, Thomas Jefferson did that. At any rate, this man named Jehoiakim
threw it all in the fire. Well, God just told Jeremiah
a little while later, He said, now, take a pen, and start writing
again. The same words. And he wrote
the same thing. It's God's Word. You can't destroy
it. You have to destroy God. Settled in heaven. Settled in
heaven. The completion of it. The preservation
of it. We know that this is God's Word
because of the matter of it or the message of it. So God made this universe for
the glory of His Son. God made everything for his own
glory and the glory of his Son. And this book God had written
to the glory of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternity will
be spent by those who love and adore and worship the Son of
God. It's called the kingdom of his
dear Son. God wrote this book. In the Old
Testament, many types and pictures and symbols and shadows, all
of Jesus Christ. You have photo albums in your
house, I know. I've been in some of your houses,
most of your homes. You know what they are filled
with mostly? Your children. Well, God Almighty
wrote a book. And it's concerning his son.
Concerning his son. Our Lord said that himself. Christ
said to the Pharisees one time, he said, you search the scripture,
and in them you think you have life. You think it's just a book
of morals and of laws of which you think you keep. He said,
they are they which testify of me. To him give all the prophets
witness. He said, Moses wrote of me. He
said, Abraham rejoiced to see my day, and he saw it. Abraham?
That's right, Abraham. Your father Abraham knew me. This book is the book of the
Son, Jesus Christ. In Genesis, he's the woman's
seed. He's Noah's ark, and so much more. In Exodus, he's the
Passover lamb. He's the tabernacle in the wilderness.
He's the ark of the covenant. He's the mercy seed. He's the
man that ate angel's food, bread from heaven. Christ said, I'm
the bread. In Leviticus, he's the great atonement. In Numbers,
he's the brazen serpent. He's the smitten rock. In Deuteronomy,
he's the city of refuge. In Joshua, he's that scarlet
lion in the window. In Judges, he's the angel of
the Lord that appeared to Manoah and his wife. which should be called Boeth,
he's the kinsman-redeemer. In Samuel, he's the covenant
head and the mercies of God. In Kings, he's the king of kings,
greater than Solomon. In Chronicles, he's the one who
brought the ark back. In Ezra, he's the defender of
the law. In Nehemiah, he's the great restorer of the city. Esther, he's the provider of
his people. Job, he's the redeemer that liveth. Psalm, he's the
shepherd. He's the King. Proverbs, he's
wisdom personified. Ecclesiastes, he's true satisfaction. Song of Solomon, he's the bridegroom.
Isaiah, he's the Lord high and lifted up, whose train fills
the temple. He's a substitute. Jeremiah,
he's the great physician. Lamentation, he's the suffering
servant. Ezekiel, he's the glory of the
Lord. And Daniel, he's the beloved. And Hosea, he's the forgiver,
that husband who loved that forlorn woman. And Joel, he's the Holy
Spirit. And Amos, he's the standard bearer.
He is the standard. In Obadiah, he's the deliverer.
In Jonah, he's the sovereign Savior. In Micah, he's Bethlehem's
infant. In Nahum, he's the comforter.
In Habakkuk, he's our strength. In Zephaniah, he's the mighty
one. In Haggai, he's the desire of all nations. In Zechariah,
he's the foundation and headstone. In Malachi, he's the messenger
of the covenant who came to his temple. This book is about Jesus
Christ. The way that never has been but
one way No one has ever been saved but one way, and that's
by the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. He is the truth,
the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help us, God,
and the life. He that hath the Son hath life. The matter of it. There was a
man years ago that the Lord used right after George Whitefield.
a man named William Huntington. The Lord greatly used him. He's
one of my favorite old preachers and writers. He was hated by
people of his day, as true preachers generally are. He said this,
and if you want a copy of this, I'll give you a copy of that,
what I just read. Huntington said, This is the
first book, the best book, the oldest book in all the world.
Contains the choicest matter, gives the best instruction, affords
the greatest pleasure and satisfaction that ever was revealed. Contains
the best laws and profoundest mysteries that ever were penned.
Brings glad tidings and best of comfort. Gives life and immortality. Shows the way to eternal glory.
Settles all matters in debate. Resolves all matters of doubt.
Eases the mind and the conscience. reveals the only living and true
God, sets aside all other gods, describes the vanity of them,
and all that trust in them. In short, it's a book of law
to show right and wrong, a book of wisdom to condemn all folly
and make the foolish wise. And just a note here, this man
was not an educated man. He was a coal heaver. He delivered
coal to people's houses. And the intellects and scholars
of his day despised him. One man, Sam, one man took this
paper, he read it, found it somewhere. This one of these intellectuals,
one of these rectors of a large place there in London, England.
He read this and thought it was so scholarly and so wonderful,
he thought an eminent divine, in his word, an eminent divine
must have wrote this. And he made it into a book form
for all his people to read. He later found out that this
Huntington, this coal heaver wrote it, and he took it all
back from everybody. He refused to let them read it. That's as it is. That's as it
always has been, hasn't it? Plowman, Peter, James, John, Fisherman. This contains the most ancient
antiquities, strange events, wonderful occurrences, heroic
deeds, unparalleled wars. It describes the celestial, the
terrestrial, the infernal world. The origin of angels, human tribe,
devilish legions. It will instruct, it will puzzle
the wisest. It will correct the philosopher,
it will confute the astronomer, expose the philosopher, make
diviners mad. It's a perfect body of divinity,
an unequaled narrative, a book of lives, a book of travels,
a book of voyages, the best covenant that ever was agreed on, the
best deed ever sealed, the best evidence ever produced, the best
will ever made, the best testament that was ever signed. To understand it is to be wise
indeed, to be ignorant of it is to be destitute of all wisdom.
It's the king's copy, the magistrate's rule, the housewife's guide,
the servant's director, the young man's companion. Above all, the
author of it is without impartiality, without hypocrisy, the one in
whom is no variable or shadow of doubt." God's Word. That's
good. I just read a portion of that. We know it's God's Word because
of the matter of, the message of. We know this is God's Word
because of the purity of it, the holiness of it. Anything
man writes is going to have something perverse in it, something hidden
in it. that something subversive, something
subtle, that some lies or opinions or heresy or something, it comes
from man. Our Lord said that in Proverbs 8. He said, There
is nothing fraud or perverse in what I say. God's Word is
the holy truth of God. Everything in it promotes holiness.
It's good. The Koran is false because it
promotes hatred and bigotry and lies. They don't believe Christ
is the Christ. So it's a lie. It's all a lie.
It's all a lie. God's Word promotes holiness,
goodness, godliness, righteousness, justice, equity, uprightness,
mercy, love, peace. That's how you know it's God's
Word. It's holy. It's pure. The commandment of
the Lord is clean. It's clean. It's obvious that
it's God's Word because God is holy. It's obvious it's not man's. Very obvious. We know this is
God's Word because of the prophecies of it, the predictions of it. Everything God has prophesied
either has, is right now, or will be, We'll take pleasure. He said that to John in the Revelation
1. He said, write the things which thou hast seen, which are
now, and which shortly must come to pass. That was 2,000 years
ago. It's almost over. Nearly everything
has been fulfilled. People ignorantly look at the
Revelation as being mostly future. Well, that was written 2,000
years ago. And God didn't start writing
in chapter 1 of Genesis a story concerning his son and then change
the subject in the end. The revelation is the revelation,
verse 1, the revelation of Jesus Christ that God reveals to his
people, the gospel of Christ. And everything in God's Word,
the prophecies, predictions, all point to Christ. The testimony
of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. And those who don't know the
gospel of Christ and don't preach it, don't have a clue about prophecy.
Don't have a clue. We know this is God's Word, and
I'll quit. We know this is God's Word, in
a minute I'll quit. because of the impartiality of it. All things we read are naked
and open before the eyes of God. God's biographies of men tell
the truth, don't they? You know, had Abraham written
his own biography, he wouldn't have put in there where he denied
his wife. Twice, would he? Coward, rant, would he? Would
David have written about his sin? Would Solomon have written
about that? Would Peter? No. Men write their biographies,
and they embellish them, don't they? They don't tell anything
bad. You'd think these fellows were all good, no bad in them.
God's biographies tell the truth. All things naked and open. How
do we know this is God's Word? Because it exposes. Man, for
what he is, he says every man in his best state is altogether
vanity. And God showed that, that the
best of men, even His men, will sin. And God reveals by that,
shows us by that, that salvation is 100% by the grace of God. Out of work. Because the best
of men will fail miserably. Adam was righteous. He failed. With
man, it's impossible. But this salvation of the Lord,
is certain. The impartiality of God's Word.
No flesh will glory in his presence. Men take an honest look at God's
Word, the mirror that is God's Word. Look, you'll see themselves,
and there's nothing good in us to see. God's Word doesn't say
anything good about mankind. A man came to Christ one time
and said, Why do you call me good? There's none good but God.
None. There's none that doeth good.
No, not one. There's none righteous. No, not one. There was one, the
God-man, Jesus Christ. And this book points us to him.
The law doesn't teach us a system to be saved by, but it's a schoolmaster
to point us to Christ. It reveals our sin. that all
have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Now, look to
him. He didn't sin. He didn't come short of the glory
of God. He fulfilled the glory of God. He fulfilled all righteousness
for his people. He shed his blood. All whose
sins are cast on him, their sins are put away. There's no way
you can have them put away except through him. Now, you better
look to him. That's what God said. That's what this whole
book points to him. at the impartiality of it. By
impartiality, I mean it meets everyone's needs, whether you're
a doctor or a dishwasher, whether you're a lawyer or a laborer.
It meets your needs. Everybody. The intellect or the
ignorant man. It meets everyone's needs. It
speaks to everyone the same way, so it levels everybody. It levels
everybody. It brings the high low and the
low high. Brings everybody on an even plane.
What's that? Sinners in need of salvation
by the sovereign grace and mercy of God. That's how we know it's
God's Word. That I'm reading the same Word
that Moses read. It's meeting my need. Same Word. Male, female, old, young, Jew,
Gentile, kings or peasants, all of them. read and need and find
all they need in this book, God's Word. And then the miracles of
it. The power of it. The power of
it. Quick. Powerful. Powerful. We're
born again. New creatures. New creatures. All things new. Old things pass
away and all things become new. Born again by the Word of God. By the will of God. By the Word
of God. Not corruptible, see, but incorruptible, the Word of
God that liveth and abideth for ever. And this is the Word which
by the gospel is preached unto you. There was a day, everyone
in here who the Lord spoke to through this Word, there was
a day when you didn't have ears to hear, you didn't have eyes
to see, you didn't have a heart to receive it. And then one day in God's time,
the Spirit that loweth where it lifteth, when He wills, through
the preaching of the Word of God, came upon you, opened your
blind eyes, opened your deaf ears, loosened your tongue, thou
loosened tongue employed to thank Him instead of cursing, a heart
to love what you once hated, hate what you once loved, feet
to walk in paths of righteousness, whereas once they were swift
to shed blood, run to mischief, all by the Word of God. The Word of God, the miracles
of it, the power of it, brought from darkness to light, death
to life, captivity, a new family, or make a man or a woman forsake
their flesh and blood family for a new family. That's a miracle. That's the power of God. The
mystery of it. We know it's God's Word because
of the mystery of it. The wisest man on earth cannot
figure this out. Seminary professors don't know
what babes and sucklings do. Our Lord one time was walking
along, and one of the few times it says that He rejoiced out
loud. I believe He laughed out loud. At that time, He rejoiced
in spirit. And he spoke to his God in heaven.
He said, I thank thee, O Lord, that thou hast hid these things
from the wise and the prudent and revealed them unto Babel.
He hid these things from the Pharisees and the Sadducees and
the scribes and revealed them unto Phishonim. Common people
heard him gladly. Pharisees couldn't figure out
the most simple parables, yet they were revealed unto his His
little children. That's how we know it's God's
Word. The mystery of it, the revelation of it. And lastly,
and I am quick, we know it's God's Word because of the experience
of it. Those who have heard His voice. Those who have heard His
voice. Not an audible voice. No man
hears His voice out loud. No, no. God only spoke twice
out loud, the rest of the time he spoke to the fathers by the
prophet. Isn't that what Hebrews 1 said?
Sure it does. But God Almighty, as Christ said,
my sheep hear my voice. God's people hear his voice.
How do they hear it? We speak to God in prayer, don't
we? He hears our voice. We speak
to Him in prayer. We call on the name of the Lord.
How does He speak back to us? Right here. Right here. My sheep hear my
voice. And that voice, at a time when you feel unloved,
it will convey that love to you. At a time when you feel sorrowful,
it will cheer you. At a time when you feel down,
He'll lift you up just like a father does. At a time when you feel
proud, He'll chasten you. At a time when you need comfort,
at a time when you need to be taught, He'll teach you, He'll
lead you, He'll guide you. He said His Word is like living
water, rivers of living water in the bellies of His people
that comes up. Those who have not heard His
voice do not believe that. Why? Because they have not heard
His voice. It hasn't pleased the Lord to
speak to them yet. But those who do, we sing a hymn, don't we? You
ask me how I know He lives? He lives within my heart. Now,
that's not just some fella's quaint saying. That's Scripture.
Christ in you, in the hope of the Lord. Greater is he that
is in you than he that is in the world. He said, Lo, I am
with you even to the end of the world. I'll never leave you nor
forsake you. Is that just reality? He's a real person.
Though we can't see him, whom have you not seen? Peter wrote,
You believe, and rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. And he speaks to his people.
Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Yes, he does. I pray that he will speak to
some more. All right, stand with me. Our Lord and our God, we thank
you for this precious, precious gift. Many exceeding precious
promises which are the Word of God, promises that are all in
Christ Jesus and are yea and amen to the glory of God. We
thank You, Lord, for this precious book. Thank You for the possession
of it. Thank You for preserving it now through the years that
we in this latter day may have a copy of it to resort to at
all times when we need. Thank You, Lord, for the faith
to believe it. It's not of ourselves, but it's
a gift of God. Thank You, Lord, for preachers
who preach it. How shall they hear without a preacher? How
shall they preach except they be sent? We thank You, Lord,
for Your Word. precious Word of God, the living
Word of God. We pray, we ask that You would
be pleased to speak through this Word yet again. We pray that
You might speak to our children, our spouses, our parents, our
friends, our neighbors, Lord. We ask, we pray for Thy glory
and Thy honor that You might be pleased to call out More sheep
from this place. Use the radio. Use the sermon
audio and other things, Lord, for Your glory and honor and
for our rejoicing. Again, we thank You for these
things and we thank You for all material blessings. Every good
and perfect gift comes from our Father above. And it's in the
name of His Son we ask and pray and give thanks. Amen.
