How do we know the Bible is the true Word of God?

Answered in 3 sources

The authority of the Bible is rooted in its divine inspiration, which is recognized and affirmed by the Holy Spirit in believers' hearts.

The Bible's truthfulness is affirmed through its divine inspiration, as Scripture has been breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16). While various translations may differ in wording, the underlying message remains unchanged and is given to believers through the Holy Spirit's work in their hearts. The King James Version has a particular poetic quality that some find helps in exalting God and enhancing understanding. Ultimately, the Spirit’s application of God's Word to our lives proves its authority and truth in our daily walk of faith.
