Wonderful day, my beloved one's
bringing. Glory of Savior, this Jesus is
mine. Living, He loves me. Dying, He saved me. Married, He carried. Life is far away. Rising, He justifies. Freely forever. One day, He's coming. Oh, glorious day. All right, let's go back to Matthew's
Gospel, chapter 22. And this portion of God's Word
we've been studying, or the book of Matthew, and in our study,
this chapter has come up in the course of that study, and I think
we'll see how it's relevant to this times, so-called Christmas
time. And we've looked at this before,
and you always see more light each time, hopefully. In our story, you read with me
how that the Pharisees took counsel. They gathered together to try
to entangle him, that is, trip him up, try to bring some charges of
heresy or whatever against him, and they had some fellas called
Herodians with them, religious politicians. They gathered
them together, and they all feigned. Do you notice with me, when they
approached the Lord, they feigned, you know, respect for him. They all gave him a flattering
title, they thought. We know you don't care for me.
Respect person. They didn't respect him. They're a bunch of hypocrites.
That's what the Lord called him. That means actor. That's what
that meant. Hypocrite. Playing a part. You're not. A
bunch of religious actors. And they asked him the question,
is it lawful to pay taxes? That's what they basically asked.
And he wisely said, show me a coin. They showed him a coin, and he
said, whose image is that? The picture is on the coin, and
he said it was Caesar. He rendered a Caesar, things
that are Caesar, to God, things that are God. They were amazed
by that. They were feuded. They were confounded,
and they left, okay? These Pharisees, or that is,
the disciples of the Pharisees and these Herodians, they left
him. They had nothing more to say. They left him confounded. Then the Sadducees came. Now, Sadducees deny any life
after death. That's what the Sadducees, they
were a bunch of intellectuals, religious stuff. And they tried
to trip the Lord up. They tried to confuse him with
a question they thought would stump him about the resurrection.
There's a story of seven men and this one woman, all married.
Each man died, and they asked in the resurrection, who's going
to be married to who? Yeah. And our Lord refuted and confounded and put
them to shame by saying, You do err not knowing the Scriptures.
And folks, you know that all error comes from not knowing
the truth. Doesn't it? If you don't know
the truth, which is God's Word, then you believe a lie. Right? You do err, not knowing the scriptures
or the power of God, who God is, the things of God. And our Lord told them, basically,
there are no relationships in heaven. Husbands, wives, sons,
daughters, anything like that. They're like the angels. They're
all equal, the same. No relationships. And then he addressed Their point
of rebellion is that they didn't believe in the resurrection they
didn't believe in life after death and he addressed that. The resurrection by this marvelous
statement about the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. You said you
say there's no resurrection well have you not read again he showed
them how why they were ignorant that they weren't reading God's
Word you know they read the philosophers they read Plato I don't know
Plato was around but They read these fellows, whoever they were.
And that's where they got all their wisdom, so-called. And
Christ made it foolish. He said, Haven't you read? He
said, I'm the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God doesn't
bring up dead people. And they were confounded. They couldn't answer that. And
they left. They left. And then the Pharisees,
the first group who sent their disciples with the Rhodians,
you know, they said, we'll give it a shot. So they got together,
you know, they would not, any one of them would. They got together
and said, let's send our best man. Who is it? Well, it's old Dr. So-and-so.
He's a lawyer. He's well studied in scripture.
He knows the scriptures. He can quote scriptures back
and forth. OK, we'll send him in. And this lawyer came to the one
who wrote the scriptures. Well, a man's a fool to argue
with God, isn't he? But he did. He came, this lawyer,
and he asked a question he thought was great and wise. He said,
which is the great commandment? And this fellow revealed his
ignorance and so do people now today men and women who make
more of one part of God's Word than another. They're a group of people that
meet on Saturday. They think the fourth commandment
is the greatest commandment. They really do. They call themselves
Seventh Day Adventists. They've got it. Nobody else does.
That's the great commandment. That's what they think. If they
didn't have that, what would they believe? Same as every other
Arminian, every one of them, believe. They believe the same,
which is nothing. Well, anyway, this fellow said,
What's a great commandment? And our Lord said, in verses
thirty-seven through forty, our Lord said, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy
mind. This is the first and great commandment, and the second is
like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor
as thou seest." On these two commandments hang all the law
and the prophets. Let me ask you something. Is
one part of God's law or God's word more important than another? That's what they were basically
asking. Is one doctrine greater than
another? Can you not believe one doctrine and believe the
rest? It's all God's Word. It's all
inseparably connected, isn't it? And our Lord amazingly... You know, I thought about this. If a fool is known by a multitude
of words, then a wise man It's a true wise man who can put a
multitude of words. Our Lord summed up the whole
Bible. It all hangs on it. And that's
not really our subject, and if I'm not careful, I'll dwell here,
but what he said about the law, but he did say this, and let
me make this comment on it. Try to rightly divide. Love to
God and love to others. You see, love, the love of God. Scriptures talks about a people
whom God sheds abroad in their heart. The love of God is shed
abroad in their heart. That doesn't mean that they become
now just lovey, lovey, lovey, lovey people. That's not. And
when it talks about in 2 Thessalonians 2 that some people receive not
the love of the truth. The love of God shed abroad in
the hearts of God's people. What he creates is a love of
God. Are you with me? You understand
what I'm saying? It's loving God as God. All things work together
to them that love God. Everybody says they do. And this is how you'll find out,
Jeanette, if somebody loves God. Start declaring Him. Start declaring
the God of the Bible. He does as He will, with whom
He will, because He will. And doesn't give no account of
His matters to anybody. God who reigns and rules over all. Start
declaring this God. As He is. God. Absolute. In control of holes, minds, hearts,
wills, everything. There's no will but His. Start
declaring this God whose will is sovereign. Start declaring
it. And just watch the enmity come up in people against this
God. And they'll tell you when it's
all over, they hate your God. My God. And they'll say, My God's
not like that. You're right. Your little God
Only does what you let him do. Your little God just is a sentimental,
old-fashioned man upstairs, you know, waiting on you to do something.
That's your God. But I got news for this whole
religious, hypocritical generation. Thy God reigneth. And it's salvation on this earth
to find out that He is indeed God. Someday, oh, every mouth will
confess, and every tongue will hit the dirt, knowing Him as
He is then, but it's too late for many. Too late. But this
is eternal life, John 17, 3, our Lord said, that you might
know the only true God, and bow to Him, and fear Him,
and worship Him as such. That's salvation. That's the
God of the Bible. Don't get any further. I've declared
unto you thy God. And God says there's one way,
and God sent him. And here's the question we're
going to ask. Who is he? Why did God send him? What did
he do? Did he do what he came to do or not? What's his name? What's it mean? Did he do it?
Where is he now? What's that mean to me? What's
that mean to this whole universe? What's that mean to time and
eternity? What think ye of Christ? Is the question. The end of question. Our Lord talked about love to
God. You know, see this? Love to God.
Well, love His Word. You'll love His Word. You'll
love it because God said it. You'll see it. God says, I am
God, there is none else. You say, that's right. And you
love it to be so. You love the truth. God has given
you this love of the truth. You love him as God. The world
doesn't do that. You understand me? Maybe somebody
in here right now is getting mad at something I've said. I've
just declared what God has said. That this is the love to God. You see, it all hangs there.
This whole Bible is about God. declare God. And God was manifest
in the flesh. To him give all the profits.
It all hangs there. All hangs there. Who is God? Has he given you? Has he saved
you? How do you know? If you love
God. Worship him as such. True worshipers
worship the Father. and love to others you see this
will love. He that loveth him. John summed
it up by saying this first John five one. He that loveth him
that begat loveth him that begotten of him. See true love tells the truth
to somebody you love. Even if they hate you for it. You don't go around correcting
other people's children do you? You don't love them like you
love your own. You, those you love, you'll tell
the truth. You don't become the enemy, you become their best
friend. And they'll hate you in a certain way, but you love
them truly. You're not, we're not an enemy to the world. Uh-uh. Oh no, we're the only real true
friends the world has. You know that? But they'll call you, they'll
be your enemy. Why? For the truth's sake. And then the Lord asked this
question, all right? They all, you hear these fellows,
the Pharisees got their chanting together and he put him to silence.
He said, they went away. Well, they were
still hanging around, okay? They were still hanging around.
Well, we're going to ask him now. Anybody got anything we
can say? Anybody, any questions? Then
he asked them a question. He asked this question. Verse
42, What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he? Well, they answered,
He's the son of David, son of David. And he answered, and we read
it. How then did David in spirit
call him Lord? Quoting Psalm 110, The Lord said
unto my Lord, God said unto my Lord. Jehovah said unto my sovereign,
Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy foots
to it. David then called him Lord. How is he his son? Whose son is he? Son of David.
God called him Lord. David called him Lord. How is
he David's son? And there's no answer. and says they had no more questions
after this. Well, let's look at this, OK?
Just very briefly, I am determined. What is worth to make this brief? And I believe the answer to this
question will stop all questions, will answer all of our questions. I believe the answer will put
an end to all questions. Let me ask you, let me ask myself.
What thank you of Christ. Whose son is it. All right they said son of David
is in. The scriptures called him and. You we've been studying
for Samuel David and throughout the song son of David and even
Christ himself said the son of God says You know the answer
to that you know why he's called the son of David was he called
the son of David you know the answer to that could you ask
could you answer somebody who asked you a reason for that. Could you. Oh if you can after
all these years. You'd stumble and fall I'm sure
like I did. But could you to some degree. Sure you could. Couldn't you.
Come on. Could you. You know why Samuel. No. Christ was made flesh in
the line of David, right? In the lineage, the tribe of
Judah, which was David's tribe, not Levite. Judah, you know why
that is, don't you? He's a different kind of priest,
isn't he? Like Melchizedek, and that's another story. But in
the line of David, but he existed long before David. Oh, long before David, but he
came in the line of David, just as he said about Abraham. He
said to those bunch of Jews, he said, before Abraham, he said,
your father, Abraham, rejoiced to see my day. And they said,
well, you're not even 50 years old. Do you know Abraham? Do I know Abraham? Before Abraham was, I am. I don't mean to say that like
he, I couldn't say that like he said it. I'm just trying to
say it with authority. And nobody spoke like he did. He understood what he was saying.
He was saying, I'm God. Abraham. Do I know Abraham? So he's not only David's son.
That's only typically, OK? Typically, type, type, picture,
David's son. But you know really David had
nothing to do with him being born. He had no seed of David
in him. You know, David is the king,
God's king, the first king, the first king of Israel, just as
a type, as a picture of the true king of Israel, the true king. And this king I'm talking about,
this son of David, he was king long before David ever ascended
to the throne. He was David's king. All right. Whose son is he? Son of David? Well, yes and no. No, he's David's
lord, that's who he is. Well, he's the son of Joseph.
Some of them said that in derision that we know this is the son
of Joseph Joseph son the carpenter. I've seen some ignorant fools
out there with a bumper sticker on their fellow evidently a construction
worker. Says my. Boss is a Jewish carpenter. Now he may think that's clever
and cute. To show off his religion to men. I believe in Jesus. Real men
do. Show it off. That's all that
is. Be seen of men. My boss is not a Jewish carpenter. My God is not a Jewish carpenter. My Lord is not a Jewish carpenter. My Lord is Lord. Right now. Always was. Even when he was
a carpenter, he made the trees that he made the furniture out
of. When he was hanging on that tree, he made the nails they
put in his hands. He told the fellow to put them
there. That's my Lord. A Jewish carpenter? You speak
way too lowly. You're Jesus. Still a carpenter? Not mine. Man made the earth. Carpenter? What a lowly thought. Joseph's son. He's Joseph's son.
No, he's born of a virgin. He has no seed of man in him.
Do you know why? Those who may listen to this
on tape or CD or over the Internet or whatever, do you know why
he was born of virgins? Most in our day do not think
it's necessary to believe that. They really don't. No, our Lord, the Lord Jesus
Christ, is not the Son of Joseph. He's born of a virgin. Okay,
then He's the Son of Mary. Hold on. Hold on here. Where does it say that in the
Bible? Where is He called the Son of
Mary? Somebody write me. I'll send
you a thousand dollars. Never says that. There's a reason. I looked it
up. I wouldn't offer that thousand
if I didn't look it up real carefully. Nowhere in the scriptures does
it say verbatim that God wrote down he's the son of Mary. Matthew 1, it says she brought
forth her first begotten son. It doesn't call him the son of
Mary. Nowhere. I'm going to tell you
why. Now, what thinking of Christ? Whose son is he? Whose son is
he? Whose offspring is he? That's what son means, offspring.
That means forgotten of something. My father has a son. I have three
sons. I'm one of his sons. I'm his
offspring. I came from his loins. I came
from him. He is responsible for my existence. That calls me his son. Nothing I can do to prevent that.
I am the son of Henry. You understand? And so nowhere
does it say he's the son of Mary. And that's by design. It gave
in a narrative by the Holy Spirit,
she brought forth her first begotten son, meaning she's not had any
children previously to that. To make sure we know she has
no, this is the virgin here. And this was a male child. But Isaiah 9, 6 now says, unto
us a child is born, son is what? Given. Not created. Not all of a sudden
existing. Through the help of this woman
named Mary. Son of Mary. No, no, no, no.
Never called that by God, only by some people. You look it up,
you'll see some that said to him, they said, Is not this the carpenter, the
son of Mary? Only time that's said. Only time. Is not this the carpenter, the
Jewish carpenter, the son of Mary? Well, let's hear what the
Lord said. Let's hear what he says about whose son is he. All
right? As a 12-year-old boy, 12-year-old
boy, he's sitting in the temple. Asking questions, he was confounded
and being asked questions. His mother, supposedly, his mother
and his father, supposedly, were worried about him. You see, they
went home, back to Nazareth, wherever, and they lost track
of him, and they came running back, and his mother said to
him, son, don't you know? that your father
and I have been worried. But what did he say? Did he say, Mother, I'm so sorry.
Tell Dad I'm sorry. Wished you not that I must be
about my father's business. And I know Mary. So he did this
to her several times. Another time, at a wedding. He
was attending a wedding and she came to him, said, son, they
need one. What did he say? What did he
say to her? Woman? He didn't call her mother. Teresa,
he never did. Why am I stressing this? is a million zillion people over
the planet right now calling him the son of Mary and calling
Mary the mother of our Lord the mother of God. It's idolatry. Not worshiping. The Lord. With the best. He said woman what have I to
do with me. Did you hear that what have I
to do with me. I didn't come from you, I don't
answer to you. You play no part in my existence.
Is that right? Yeah, come on, let's go on. While
preaching, he was preaching one time, she had the audacity to
interrupt him. Now this was by design, the Lord
had her do this to show us who he is. He was preaching one time
and she interrupted him, said, your mother told somebody, your
mother wants to see you. What did he say? Who's son is he? He said, who
is my mother? Who's responsible for my birth?
Whose son am I? And hanging on the cross, finally,
hanging on the cross, he looked down and there she was, Mary,
the former virgin. She didn't stay a virgin, folks,
did she? She had at least seven children. That's right. Read
the Scripture. People don't know that because
they don't know the Scripture. Hanging on that cross, our Lord
looked down at that woman and said, Woman, behold your son. John
was standing there. That's your son. Nowhere does it say that Mary
cradled him in her arms, you know, when he hung down. They've
got that ridiculous statue made by Michelangelo. That's utter
idolatry. Son, behold thy mother. I call my mother mother because
that's what she is. He didn't because she wasn't.
It's as simple as that. All right, let's go a little
further, OK? And here's the point. Here's
the whole point, folks. Many people worship a womb. And not the one who just borrowed
it. Many people worship an empty
tomb. Oh, yeah, yeah, they go over
there, you know, and I think they know the place where you
and they get down in there and they think that dirt is holy
or something, you know. and not the one who hung on it. Isn't
that something? I mean, who died in it, not the
one who lives right now. Many people worship a wooden
cross. Oh, yeah. You say, oh, no, I
don't. Try burning one. Try burning one. Take one down.
I've often thought I'd love to go on a mission. Cross burning.
I'm not Klu Klux Klan, but I'm an idolater-crusher. That's what
I am. This fellow went on a crusade
across the land, put these crosses up everywhere. He thinks he's
doing God's work. No, he's not. That's not idolatry. That's a
graven image. I'd love to get me a chainsaw and go on a mission
myself. Wouldn't you? You sound old. Don't desecrate
me. That's precisely what I'm talking
about. It's Nahushkin. You know what
that means? You ever heard that story? Hezekiah
found the brazen serpent that Moses had made for the people
to look to. They found that, and the people
were worshiping it. They were making pilgrimages to it, shrines
to it, the brazen serpent, you know. And he grounded up the
powder and made them drink it. And he said, It's Nahashton.
It's Nahashton. What's that? A worthless piece
of brass. Those things are just worthless
pieces of wood. Don't worship the cross he hung
on. Worship the Christ who hung there.
Don't worship the womb that he went into. Worship the one who
came out. Don't worship the tomb. Worship
him. You see that. You know that.
Blessed are your eyes and your ears. You see and know these
things. We don't worship a woman. There's a man. There's no co-redeemer. You know,
that's what they say about it. That's what Catholicism now has
come out of the closet and unabashedly, unreservedly, unashamedly confessed. They say it, that she's the co-redeemer. No, she's not. No, she's not. Mary didn't die for my sins.
Christ did. She said, He's God my Savior. She was a sinner who needed Christ's
blood to put away her sin. And I believe He did. So we don't
worship her. Worship Him. I'm not splitting hairs here. I'm
not killing idols. Big difference. Big difference.
All right let's ask this question he's a son of God. Yeah woman
told my wife a woman. Wrote to my wife she doesn't
know. Doesn't believe this God I've
been declared. And she wrote her hoping she
had found some common ground with her and she said to her
Well, we both agree on this, that Jesus is the Son of God.
That was her conclusion. We both can agree on this, that
Jesus is the Son of God. Is he? You say, yes, it says that. Then
why did God call him God? Hebrews 1.8. And to the son he saith, Thy
throne, O God." Scripture says, The Lord our God is one Lord,
him shalt ye worship. Thou shalt worship the Lord thy
God alone. Worship him. Worship God. Why
did Jesus Christ allow Thomas to bow at his feet and say to
him, My Lord and my God? Can you? I can't really. But I know it's
so. He said to his disciples, they
said, well, just show us the Father. Show us God. We'll believe
if you show us God. What'd he say? What'd he say?
What'd he say? What think ye of Christ? What think ye of Christ? You got a Jesus? What think ye
of the Christ of Scripture? He said to his disciples. He
that hath seen the father hath seen me. I am the father of one. But think ye of Christ. Why is
he called the son of God then? Can you answer that? He's equal
with the father, he that thought it not robbery to be equal with
the father. Why is he called the son of God? Can you answer
that? Is he less than God? No, it says he's equal with the
father. Very God, a very God. That's what the old writers used
to say. Very God, a very God. Very God,
true God. This is the true God. John commenced
his whole epistle by saying that this is the true God in eternal
life. A child is born, a son is given,
call his name the mighty God. Why is he called the son of God?
Because God had one begotten son. God had one offspring. God had one bodily manifestation
of himself. God had one issue from himself,
one bodily in him, and this one dwelt of all the fullness of
the Godhead. How? In the body. God said in the
beginning, Let us, who God 3, 1, 1, 3, explain it. Can't, but this is
the best they can do. Said, let us make man in what? What? Our image. Our? Whose image? God had an image
back then? Proverbs 8 says that. He was
set up from the beginning, from everlasting, though he had no
beginning of day, an image. Son, the body, image of God. We're going to see God someday.
Scripture says no man has. Come on, explain that. Who's
son is it? Scripture says no man hath seen
God, nor can see. No man can see. I'm going to
see God. Job said it. Job said, with my eyes I will
see God. But you can't. want to. Who is
he? The only image, the express image
of God, Jesus the Christ. You're a man, you make yourself
God. No, no, no, here's Here's the whole problem. All your confusion
is right here. Here's why you're so confused.
It's just the opposite, you see. Man's understanding is backwards.
He doesn't understand. He's not a man making himself
God. He was God and made himself man. And that's what throws everybody.
That baby can't be God. Look at there. The angel said
so. The angel didn't even know what
to call it. Angel's fall is happening. All
the angels could say was, that! Holy thing! Is it a baby? No, it's the father. Is it the
woman's child? No, it's her father. Son of Joseph? No, son of God. Son of God? God! Manifest! Craig is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh. Whose son is it? I'm here to tell you this will
answer all your questions. This will put an end to all questions.
Who he is will put an answer. Put an end to all questions.
Let me ask a few in closing. Is God sovereign? Is God truly
in control of all things? Well, thank you, Christ. When he came down here, did he
do what folks let him do? Huh? Did he ask anybody anything,
ever? Did He ask anybody, won't you
let me? Did He ever come outside somebody's door and say, I can't
get in, would you open your door? Did He ever do that? What think
ye of Christ? God's manifest in the flesh.
God became a man, Stan. Is God sovereign? There He is.
Let's watch Him. Alright, here's a shut door. Here's a shut door. Let's see.
Is God sovereign? There's a door shut. There God
can't get in unless they open the door, definitely, you know. Well, thank you, Christ. Does God elect people? Is election
true? Does God do the choosing or not?
Well, thank you, Christ. What did he say? God came down
to this earth. He didn't come to try to do anything.
He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince
people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince
people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to
try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't
come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere.
He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince
people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince
people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere.
He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people
everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince
people everywhere. He didn't come to try to convince people everywhere. He didn't come to Didn't know
who he was. Didn't care who he was. He knew
them, buddy. Knew everything about them. He
said, follow me. And he walked off. What'd they
do? They followed him. This is God. God doesn't ask anybody anything. Doesn't need anybody. He's God
running. He doesn't choose them. He kept telling them that over
and over again. You did not choose me. Remember
that? You did not choose me. I chose
you. And he reminds all his saints
that throughout eternity shall not God's elect. Christ called
them God's elect, didn't he? And buddy, when God reveals this
to them, that they didn't care, didn't know him, didn't know
who he was, didn't care, wasn't calling on him, but God called
them, elected them, chose them. Then they praise him to high
heaven from then on throughout eternity for choosing them. Problem
with election. They're so thankful. that God
elects people so. Had he not they would never have
given him. His election truth will thank
you Christ. Do we make him Lord. Thank you
Christ. Let him be king in our life Lord
what make you cry what they do. I mean what did he do it one
time they tried to make him think. He already is king. Where did he ever say where I
wish this world would search the scripture don't you where
did he ever say would you please make me your lord. Is salvation by grace. Is salvation
one hundred percent the gift of God bestowed upon men and
women they have nothing to do with their salvation is salvation
one hundred percent my great what you think Christ. The word Christ means, listen,
the word Christ means substitute, means mediator, it means covenant
head, it means a Passover lamb. If we need all those things,
people, and God Almighty sent him, and God killed him, and God accepted
him, and only him, well pleased with his righteousness, only
him, if that be so, if there is a Christ, it's by grace. If we need a Christ, salvation
is by grace. You understand what I'm trying
to say? If we need a substitute, it's by grace. God has to give
it. Is salvation eternal? Well, I
think you're Christ. Is he the eternal priest? Does
he ever live to make intercession for his people? Huh? Does he?
Does he? Is God holy? We labor that point over and
over, don't we? Will God punish sin? What think you? Christ crucified. Huh? Will God punish sin? He
killed his son. Was he sin? Was he sin? Was he
sin? If he wasn't, God's unjust. Got a bunch of fellas even arguing
that today. It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. If God punished
Christ, unjustly unfairly if he's not saying I said there's
still there. Maybe. Maybe me he made me him. Explain that I can't nobody can
that's what. That's my salvation here is God
just yes we'll God show mercy. What make you cry. I think you're right if God accepts
him. Yes, it is. Will God accept those
in Him? Yes, He will. Is there life after
death? What think ye of Christ? Did
He rise? Is He alive? Huh? Ask me a question. Free will. What think ye of... Does man
have a free will? What think ye of Christ? Is His
will being done? Huh? John one he said not of
him the will of him or John one not of the will of man or will
of the flesh but of God. Romans nine sixteen out of him
the will of him that run it but of God. Philippians two thirteen
is God that work in us both the will and do of his good pleasure.
Psalm one ten verse three that people shall be willing in the
day of that power is does man have a free will. No it doesn't.
Does God? Yes, he does. He worketh all
things after the counsel of his will. But think ye of Christ. But think ye of God. What do
you think? Does man have free will? What do you think of God?
Somebody's will is free, and somebody's is not. Somebody's
will is being done, and somebody's not. Whoever it is is God. Right? That's the whole problem. Man
hath made God into a man, and man into a God. What do you think. Whose son. Who is he beneath. Who is he
and who is he allowed who allows him to do what. Well once in grace always in
grace what thank you Christ what do you say. what you feel and know and believe
in your heart with the heart may believe. You love this God. Do you love this God? Do you
love this Christ? Do you love the truth as it is
in the Lord Jesus Christ? Is this your Christ? The only
Christ is but one. Then flesh and blood didn't reveal
it to you, but the Father, which is in heaven. Someday all flesh
will know. Until then this is a question
of all questions. What makes you cry? OK. Brother Gabe, do you have a hymn
to pick out? One hundred? One hundred. Hymn number one hundred. Stand
as we sing. Sing the first and second verse. Oh come all ye faithful, joyful
and triumphant, come ye Come ye to Bethlehem. Come and behold Him, born the
King of angels. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him. O come, let us adore Him, Christ
the Lord. Sing, choirs of angels, sing
in exultation. Sing, all ye bright hosts of
heaven above. Glory to God, oh, glory in the
highest. Oh, come let us adore Him. Oh, come let us adore Him. Oh, come let us adore Him, Christ
the Lord.
