In the book of Revelation, chapter
3, an opportunity has been brought to our attention. One more time,
we get to see the revelation of Jesus Christ. One more time. Now, there's going to be many
times we trust in this book that we will see the revelation of
Jesus Christ. Just as that word means there
as we read in the book of Luke, a light to lighten the Gentiles.
May we again be enlightened by the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, this
letter to this pastor in this church at Laodicea, it has some
real statements in it with regard to us, to every church, to every
believer. And in here, it mentions the
term lukewarm. Lukewarm. And it was interesting. I was reading somewhere, and
this writer, and I didn't write it down, but if you run into
it, you know I got it somewhere. This writer said, there are two
ways to protect against lukewarmness. And I says, I want these. I want
to write this down. Number one, be very rich in grace. very rich in grace, conscious
of the greatness of God. Now that's one way to prevent
lukewarmness, is to be meditating and contemplating the greatness
of our God. and the way he moves in all things
and is over all things and is high and lifted up and is glorious
in all of his attributes. And we can just spend every day
contemplating those things and we'll be protected against lukewarmness. Now the second thing that this
writer brought up was to have have but little grace, conscious
of soul poverty. We don't have any of our own. Now we just keep that in mind.
Lord, help me from self-righteousness. Help me from self-boasting. And this writer says, have a
very rich in grace with regard to God and little regard to self,
and you'll be protected against lukewarmness. Now, lukewarmness
generally starts with a great big view of man and a little
bitty view of God, and you have lukewarmness. And the warning
is here. And so the revelation of Jesus
Christ will prevent us from falling into that category of lukewarmness. Now, we may have instances during
the day, don't get me wrong, but for the long run. I appreciate
what that preacher said about the Mississippi River. I just
watched a movie. about the Lewis and Clark
expedition, and how far they went up the Missouri River, and
they came to a fork and they had to decide on which way to
go up that. It just kept going and going
and going, a lot farther than they ever anticipated. And that
whole stream of water, meandering, meandering, meandering, catching
the Mississippi, flows out at the Gulf of Mexico. And that's
just the way believers are. Everyone will be presented spotless,
even though we may meander. And we may have those days of
lukewarmness, but God help us that it won't run into months
and years. And if that happens, we're in a poor category. And
we need to listen to this very carefully. Now, these words are
not to the world. I want to underscore that. When
we read this letter to the Laodicean, it's not to the world. And secondly,
this is not to, I was helping a man yesterday, and he, you
know, you get to visit about family, and I told him about
Tim, he'd met Tim, and I had other children. I said, how many
children do you have? He had two. He has a daughter,
and she's very successful, and I have a son. And he said under
his breath, he's a preacher. After a while, I says, well,
what flavor of preacher? Well, it's off-breeds. You know,
well, that's as far as he went. You don't know what he was. Well,
anyway, this isn't one of those off-breeds. This is, these are
churches of the living God. They were sound in faith at one
time. We're not talking about something
started in the New England states in 1840s. We're talking about
people that had heard the gospel in Asia Minor, and seven of these
groups were established in the sense. Now, I'm not talking about
official establishment like we think of today. A group of people
that love the Lord God Almighty got together and says, we need
to hear preaching and we need fellowship. And they got together
and heard this. And over a period of time, this
church at Laodicea, it wasn't a church of the world, it was
a church at Laodicea. And they were baptized on a confession
of faith in Christ Jesus. And they thought they were in
fine spiritual condition. And probably when they started,
there was some in there that were. We just don't know. But
they had a high opinion of themselves, and they probably considered
that of all the seven churches, they were first in power and
in influence. I hadn't thought of that, but
they no doubt compared themselves with the others. They're not
that far apart. Boy, that church over there in
Philadelphia, oh my goodness, that's a poor church. They just
get that poor preaching all the time. and we're over here and
we're just having a grand time and things are going smooth and
we don't have a need of anything. They that compare themselves
with themselves among themselves are not wise. We have one comparison
stick and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. So they had a lot of
influence and they were rich and yet they are so poor. They are mistaken. The scripture
says their mistake was founded on ignorance. Thou knowest not
that you're in poor condition. Their mistake is based upon ignorance.
And we find like in this church at Laodicea, no doubt, and every
teacher has found this. And I'm not talking about just
in the school room. I'm talking about every teacher.
Every teacher, the hardest pupil to teach, is the one that already
knows everything. They are the most difficult students. Now, I may have been there, but
I dealt with them, and I deal with them. I deal with them in
the stores in town. I deal with them in the businesses,
and you deal with them everywhere. People who know everything, and
they are hard to teach. They are the ones that want to
go, they're the ones, with regard to scriptures, that want to go
beyond the Lord Jesus into the deeper things, because they already
know about Christ. Well, Lord help us. We're still
studying about the Savior. And we hope to spend our entire
life studying about the Savior. And there is nothing deeper than
Christ. He is the deepness of the Godhead. Now, here we have
it. It's a sad thing. They were not
so poor that they knew they were poor, though. God helps us when
we realize we're poor. That's a gift of God. When God
allows us to know that we're poor, that's grace. And many in this church at Laodicea
didn't realize they were not poor enough to be poor. And they
were rich and had need of nothing. Now, in our reading tonight,
we'd like to look here in verse 18. Now, I just wish I could
get around this thought of, I counsel thee. This is the Lord Jesus
Christ speaking to the pastor and church at Laodicea. I counsel
thee. This is not suggestions. This is not options. This is
the Lord sitting in his throne speaking to a pastor in church
that is in serious trouble. Their ship of state is about
to sink and he is counseling them on how to save the ship. He is instructing them in the
things that be of Christ. He's gonna share three things
in this council to this church, and every one of these three
things speak, if you're looking at it in the physical, and I
had a discussion one time about the church. I was raised that
there was only one church, and that was the local church, and
there's nothing else available and nothing else to be had, and
when the Lord saved me, he showed me that there was a church, and
we carry it out in local assembly. It's just the same as the Lord
Jesus Christ taking a loaf of bread and breaking it. Now that's
the physical, that's the local. And then speaking about himself,
I'm the bread of life. Now, he is not a piece of wholesome
bread. He is the bread from heaven. It's spiritual. Now, there were
some that were going to look at these instructions here, this
counsel here, and say, oh, we've got that all figured out. And
some of them were going to say, this is spiritual. We're missing the boat. We're
missing the point. We're not being found in Christ. Now that's the serious part here.
I counsel thee, the spiritual head of the spiritual body of
Christ is counseling with spiritual instruction to those in this
body that could understand spiritual things. And if anybody would,
he must open their eyes. He knew who he was coming for. He knew who the message was for. And it was for those that he
would open their hearts and cause them to understand. And to the
rest, we've already got gold. To the rest, we've already got
clothing. To the rest, we can already see
what's he talking about. And to some, maybe one. Maybe
only one. Oh, I see what he's talking about.
I've missed the point all these weeks, all these months, all
these years. I've missed the point. So he
shares with us, I counsel thee, buy of me. Now, he is the tradesman. He's the only place you can go
shopping. He's the only place. Buy of me.
There's other stores, but you're just going to get, you're going
to get, chaff. You're going to get what the
prodigal son got down there in the pig pen. There's no food
value in it. You can fill your stomach. I'll
never forget reading about the Irish and their starvation and
how many died with grass in their stomachs. We just can't imagine
what it's like to be in that kind of condition. And people,
religious people, are dying by the groves with grass in their
stomach and no bread. Think they're full, but they
have nothing. Now, he says, I counsel thee,
buy me. Christ is saying, buy me. Now,
he gives three things. Gold tried in the fire, that
thou mayest be rich. White raiment. This is a shopping
list. I don't know how many times I've
been, I headed to the store with a shopping list and forgot it
and come home with stuff I didn't need and forgot some of the stuff
I should have got. You know, that's just the way
it is. Here's the shopping list. Go shopping on this list. Abide by this list. gold tried
in the fire, white raiment that thou mayest be clothed, that
the shame of thy nakedness do not appear, and anoint thine
eyes with eye salve that thou mayest see. Now there's some
qualities about every one of these things on this shopping
list that are valuable. Gold, it's not everyday gold,
it's not normal gold, it's gold tried in the fire. It's pure
gold. Secondly, it's not just raiment,
it is white raiment. We're going to look at that.
And then ISAF. I've had ointments put in my
eyes. Some have helped. Some haven't. This ISAF opens
eyes. This is the ISAF. This is the
miracle ISAF. Everybody that gets this ISAF
sees. This is not, we hope, try. I used to send shivers down my
back to see that bumper sticker, Try Jesus. People didn't understand. Well,
the ones that are satisfied with anything would do that, but this
is not a trial. This is an expectation, and that's
the Lord Jesus Christ. Go try. No other than Christ
Jesus himself. And this white raiment that's
spotless, a robe of righteousness, and I said, this can be nothing
more than the power and unction of God's Holy Spirit upon us
in regenerating grace and the new birth and in divine teaching
and the things that be of Christ. These are the things that the
Holy Spirit, John, as he was led by the Holy Spirit, and the
Spirit of Christ speaking to him said to this church, there's
three things you need and you're missing them, and they are gold,
raiment, and anointing of your eyes. It's not just gold, it's
gold tried in the fire. Now, there are many, It says
in the scriptures that there, be aware, there's going to be
many that say they are Christ. Now, that's gold. They say they're
Christ. But we want gold tried in the
fire. And that gold, that Christ, has
been on the cross. And that cross, when he hung
there, God Almighty, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
poured out their righteous indignation. And he was tried in the fire
and came out pure. pure on the other side and so
pure was he that he could give to every one of his children
that same purity and they can rise with him in that day. Blessed and holy is he that hath
part in the first resurrection for on such the second death
hath no power Then that's the down payment. The culmination
of God's grace to his people is to be sitting at his right
hand through eternity, realizing the great riches of this gold
tried in a fire. What did he say to the church
at Laodicea? Get back to Christ. Get back
to the Christ. Get back to the Christ tried
in the furnace of fire and the justice of the Holy Spirit upon
him. And we find here, going a little further, that this buying
is more than just going out and buying ketchup. This is such
a valuable thing. I was sharing with someone, it
used to just bother me to hear these two verses, Isaiah 51-1
and Revelation 3-18, because in both of them it said, buy.
And I know I don't have anything to buy with. What does this mean? I'm missing
it. We in the West, under the Western thinking, sometimes miss
what the Orioles were thinking about, and the translations haven't
helped a lot on certain areas. But we know, we know this, like
a lot of things in the book of Revelation, we may not know what
it means, but we know what it doesn't mean. If it brings down
God, it doesn't mean that. If it brings less glory to Christ,
well, that doesn't mean that. We may not know what it means,
but we know what it doesn't mean. And I knew that this didn't mean
in the book of Isaiah chapter 51 verse 1 says, we got something
that we can come and purchase these things with. Well, someone
help me out. God would have us make this our
greatest business. In the book of James, it says
going over to another city for a year and buying and selling.
Making gain? That's the business. It's going
to the market to do business in the marketplace. It's our
business. It's our job. It's what we do
for a living. It's not going to Safeway and
buying a can of tomatoes. It is our business. It's a trader. It's a person whose job it is
to get goods for people to purchase. And he said here, make it your
greatest business to be after Christ. It's not a sideline. It's your
life. It's not something you do on
Sunday. It's something you live every
day of the week. Make it your business. Buy. Make it your business to get
this. With everything and every anticipation
of your heart, seek out this business for your life. Laodicea, your business is not
Christ. You've gone to trading ketchup. You've gone to trading squash. You've gone to trading cucumbers.
But your business is not Christ. And that's the warning he shares
with them. You've got your eyes off of the
business and gone down. I think I'll go to the grocery
store today and get a few things. But our business is Christ and
Christ alone. Make it your life business. Make it every moment of your
life's business. Now I realize that we don't think
about Christ all the time. We're not there all the time
yet. Someday it will be, but we're
not there yet. But when it comes to buying and
selling, Make it him your business. Don't substitute the truth. Don't give over to a lie. Don't give in to subtlety. Don't go there. Make it your
business to buy gold tried in the fire. Make it your business
to be at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. You remember the
lady that sat at the feet of Jesus and her sister was fixing
dinner and she said, Master, I know this is a very small request,
but would you tell my sister to get off of her backside and
help me? And what did he say? She hath chosen the good part. She's made it her business to
have gold tried in the fire. She's made it her business to
have white raiment. And she's made it her business
to have eye salve that will open eyes. She can't get gold tried
in the fire, but she's made it her business. She can't make
white raiment. and she can't produce eye salve
that will open eyes, but she has made it her business to be
there, to the one who can, to the one who can give her these
things. Turn with me, if you would, over
into the book of Isaiah chapter 53, 55, excuse me, Isaiah 55,
the same type of Thought is brought up here in
Isaiah chapter 55, verses one through three, where the Lord
Jesus Christ, through the prophet Isaiah, gives instructions. Now, the unconverted persons
have nothing to support themselves or pay off their debts with. They have nothing. The term is
bankrupt. They're in bankruptcy. They have
nothing. They've lost it all. There's
no better word or better term to describe what happened in
the fall than we were met with bankruptcy. We have nothing to
pay, and we have nothing to offer, and we're out on our own, out
on a limb. We have nothing to give. We're bankrupt. Broke. We were rich. But in Adam we
fell, and now we have nothing. We're bankrupt. We lost all the
gold. We lost all the clothing. And beside that, we have that
stuff that grows on the eyes, and we can't see. That's what
happened in Adam. Now notice here, Isaiah 55. Ho, everyone. Hey, stop. Ho, everyone that thirsteth.
Come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money, come ye buy
and eat. Yea, come buy wine and milk without
money and without price. This is that same idea. Now this word for buy found in
this verse of scriptures found 21 times in the Old Testament.
And I was flabbergasted. You know what I'm talking about
when I say that, don't you? I was flabbergasted to find that two-thirds
of the time that this word is used, it is used with Joseph
and his brethren. The brethren buying and Joseph
selling grain in Egypt. You just go down through the
list. You're reading the book of Genesis when you're following
this word through there. And Joseph is the one that had
all. And he's the only one that could
sell. And these that were his brethren
were in need. And he sold to them. Now, it was their business to
go down to Egypt and buy grain for their family. It took all
their time. Now they had to leave the sheep
herding to someone else. They had to leave all the agriculture
to someone else. They had to leave all the care
of their father to someone else. It was their business to go down
to Egypt and buy food for their family. How long it took to go
down and how long it took to come back, it was their business
to do that. And they brought that food back.
Well, they ate for a while. Pretty soon they ran out. All
right, we got to leave the business of sheep herding and the business
of caring for our family and the business that we are tending
to. We got to leave that business
and tend to business and leave here. Now, they said there's
no need going unless we take that little brother because that
man down there says if you don't bring him, no need coming. So they did. And we know the
rest of the story. But these, they fancy that they
have wealth, and they fancy that they are rich, and they stand
in need of nothing, but sensible souls quickened by the Holy Spirit
know that they have none. I don't have anything to buy with,
but I want to make it my business to be about this. It takes a
quickened heart to make it their business to be about the business
of Christ. Without that, It is nothing more
than fluff. Without that, it is nothing more
than religion. Without that, it is nothing more
than just doing. But when Christ reveals himself
to his people, it becomes their business to seek him every day. I've heard preachers say, and
I have to agree, he saved us yesterday, he's saving us today,
and he will save us tomorrow. What does that tell about us?
It's our business to be about him yesterday, it is our business
to be about him today, and it will be our business to be about
him tomorrow. What's that mean? He's all my
hope. He's all my hope. He's all my salvation. There's nothing else but him. He is my white raiment, and he
is my gold tried in the fire, and he is my eyesalve. There
is no one else that will substitute for him. And that's what happened
in the church at Laodicea. There become imitations and substitutes,
and their business had gone after them, and their business was
dead. And his encouragement was, his
counsel was, buy from me. Make it your business to buy
from me. Now, turn with me, if you would,
over to the book of Matthew, chapter 24. Matthew, chapter
24. I mention this, but I want to
read this verse of scripture. There will be those that will
be alluring, guaranteed. Matthew chapter 24, they will have a sounding. They
will make a big splash. They'll be at the Coliseum. They'll
be on TV. They'll be everywhere. The only
difference between these and who they think they represent
is they haven't been tried in the fire. They have nothing. Notice Matthew
24, verse 23, the scriptures say, then if any man shall say
unto you, lo, here is Christ, or there, believe it not, for
there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall
show great signs and wonders, insomuch if it were possible
they will deceive the very elect. How are we kept from that? They
haven't been in the fire. The Lord Jesus said he, as Christ,
would be in the fire for us. I've used this illustration a
number of times, but this time of year, it just seems to be
very invaluable. Every time I drive by the gravel
pit out here and see all that black earth, just means that
place is not going to burn again this year. It burned once, but
it's not going to burn again. Reminds me of that covered wagon
group coming across the plains and a prairie fire burning out
of control. And someone came to the wagon
master, says, oh my goodness, we're gonna be swept away. What
do we do, what do we do? He says, get me a match. He says,
what are you talking about? There's plenty of fire over there.
He says, get me a match. He got a match and lit it and
threw it out in the grass. Burn it off. He says, all right,
get where the fire's already burned. And that's where every
believer is in Christ Jesus. Get where the fire has already
burned. It won't happen again, won't
burn again. That's the gold that's been tried
in the furnace, been tried in the fire. That's the Lord Jesus
Christ taking all our sins upon him. And these others that come
along, they're fakes and charlatans. They may do great things, but
there's not a mark on them. The only mark they have on them
is the light skin where the Rolex is. That's the only mark on him. All right. Now, turn with me,
if you would, to Mark 8. Mark 8. And notice here, with
regard to the Lord Jesus Christ, he is the gold tried in the fire.
He's been in the furnace. Here he shares this very information
with his disciples. Mark chapter 8, verse 31. And
he shares this a number of times in the New Testament, in Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John with his disciples. And most of them did
not comprehend. We read of one woman. She came
in and poured ointment, costly ointment. And there was that
Judas, he says, oh man, we could have sold this and given it to
the poor, but the Lord knew his heart. He didn't have no intent
of giving it to the poor, he was a thief. And he said, leave
her alone, for she does this for my burial. She had some information given
to her. Notice here in Mark chapter 8, verse 31. And he began to teach them that
the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected of the
elders and of the chief priests and of the scribes and be killed.
There you go. That's this Christ. That's this
victorious Christ. And he shared it with them. And
after three days, rise again. That's the Christ that's been
tried in the furnace. That's the gold. That's that
wonderful gold that's been tried. That's the Lord Jesus. Now, the
best ringment, white ringment, white ringment. We got a multitude
of colors today. It's amazing. You go into a clothing
store today and see the colors. And the Lord Jesus tells the
church at Laodicea, instructs us, buy from me, make it your
business to get white raiment. Make it your business. White
raiment, righteousness of Christ with no imperfections. Get that righteousness. Get the
righteousness of Christ. We find that this raiment is
white and it's pure. It's a holy color. It's a royal
color. And nobody can wear a colored
dress in Christ's sight. I wonder, you know that parable
the Lord used about the wedding feast. The man came in there
and he stopped him and says, why don't you have the right
garment on? I just wonder if he didn't come in there with
a colored wedding garment. They were all supplied right
out there, but he came in with his own. Nobody else could notice
it, but he noticed it. The master of the feast noticed
it. Got that guy out of there. There's weeping and wailing and
gnashing of teeth. He got his color out there. White
in here. White at the marriage supper
of the Lamb. White righteousness at the marriage supper. Now turn
with me, if you would, to the book of Matthew chapter 17. Matthew
chapter 17. I counsel you, I counsel you,
make it your business to get the best gold. the Lord Jesus
Christ. Make it your best, make it your
business to get the best raiment, white raiment. Matthew chapter
17, verses one and two. The scripture says, and after
six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John, his brother,
and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, and was transfigured
before them, and his face did shine as the sun. Now notice
this. And his raiment was white as the light. Now that's the
kind of raiment we want. That robe of righteousness so
bright. In another one of the Gospels,
it mentions whiter than any, I think it's Mark. Turn over
there before I mess that up. Mark chapter nine. Mark chapter
nine, verse one. Yes, here it is. Same incident,
Mark 9, it says, and he said unto them, verily, verse 1, saying
to you, that there shall be some, that there be some of them that
stand here which shall not taste death till they see the kingdom
of God coming with power. And after six days, Jesus taketh
with him Peter and James and John and leadeth them up. I want
to say this right here, the Lord Jesus believed in election. He
took three with him. There were 12 with him most of
the time, and three with him sometimes. And one laid his head
on the breast of the Lord Jesus. The Lord believed in election.
and he did the choosing. He taketh with him Peter and
James and John, and leadeth them up into a high mountain apart
by themselves, and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment
became shining, exceeding white as snow. And now we're gonna
have to have some more description. So as no fuller or bleach on
earth can white them. Three descriptions of this white
raiment. Three, and we just have to say
it's very white. That's the righteousness of Christ.
There is no imperfection and no man, no fuller will ever get
there. No washer man, no washer woman
will ever get their robe this clean. There's no fuller on earth
that will do it. It takes the grace of God. So I counsel you, make it your
business. Make it your business. Now, ISAV,
the best ISAV. The best ISAV is the ISAV that
makes people see. There's a lot on the market,
but the best, It's like that gold that's been tried, and that
raiment that's white. The best eyesalve is eyesalve
that can take blind people and make them see. Oh, how wonderful
it is when the Holy Spirit, by divine appointment, and through
the Word of God, comes to visit one of those chosen in Christ
before the foundation of the world, and gives them life and
sight, and they're able to see the Lord Jesus Christ, and they
will be able to say, I'm going to avoid lukewarmness. I'm going
to think about the greatness of my God. And I'm going to avoid
lukewarmness. I'm going to think less of myself
every day. Avoid lukewarmness. Two remedies
for it. This one that we heard about.
John chapter 9, I didn't realize we've been in there for four
months, but John chapter 9, verse 25, it says that man that was
healed of blindness, that court says, now tell us how did this
happen? What's going on? He says, I don't
know if he's a sinner or not, but whereas I was blind, now
I see. Now the rest of them couldn't
understand that one bit, but he did, and he had to be excluded
from that religious group, and then he left, and the Lord met
him. Now that's ISAV. That's ISAV. Cures blindness. Stop it a little. It cures blindness. Now, these things, as I mentioned
some time ago, these things just remind me of those four leprous
men over there in 1 Samuel. When they went into that tent
of the Assyrians, in the camp of the Assyrians, and the first
thing they did is they stopped and ate and drank. and how typical
that is when we make it our business to have the bread of life and
the water of life. It's our business. Oh, Lord,
save me lest I perish. That's the words of Peter. Oh, Lord, save me lest I perish. And then they went on and says,
whoa, there's silver and gold here. And they caked it up. They're carrying it out. They're
hiding this. This is silver and gold. Rich
is just like we read here about this gold tried in the furnace. It's pure gold. They found there. Now they didn't bring it. They
brought nothing except rags on their back and body full of sores. They had nothing to give and
they were given everything they needed. And they were given bread,
and they were given drink, and they were given riches. And finally,
I think this will look pretty good
on me. My old rags are wore out. I'm going to wear this new garment.
And they picked up raiment. They had nothing. They were bankrupt. And the Lord provided them everything
they needed and everything he demanded. And so it is with the
church at Laodicea. You know, I counsel you. He's sitting down with them.
He's sitting down. Not across the table. He's sitting
down with them face to face. I counsel you. The only way out
of this mess, the only way out of this plight, the only way
out of this where you are is Christ. Christ as your Savior. Christ as your business, Christ
as your eyesight, Christ. Forget where you are and cling
to Christ. We don't want to, well, we don't
want to look back. We want to look ahead. We know
what we were. Lord, make us what we want to
be. We know what's behind us. Lord, make us what you want us
to be. Pull us out of this. We recognize this." And I'm sure
there were some there, oh my goodness. He's just sharing with
us what we heard when that preacher brought that message that first
time. And I may have said I hate him, but I went back and heard
him again. Went back, all right, so he says,
I counsel thee. Let's go back to the book of
Revelation one more time, and we'll read this and close. Chapter
three, verse 18. Scripture say this, I counsel
thee, make it your business. Don't just go grocery shopping,
but make it your business, buy. Buy of me. I'm the only seller
that has these products. Buy from me. Gold tried in the
fire. Me. And white raiment. Me. that thou mayest be clothed,
that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear, and anoint thy
eyes with eyesalve that thou mayest see. I counsel you, make
it your business. May this be your business. And
Psalm says, well, we're making it our business. We just got
the bus ministry going. We got this going, and that going,
and we have everybody busy all the time. Every evening we have
this, and meetings, and Bible studies. It's just going. And
someone said in there, oh, it's not in those things. It's in
Christ. It's in Christ. Verse 19, as
many as I love, and I want to be in that group, Jesus said, as many as I love.
That's all his church, all his body, all the elect. He makes
this promise to all he loves. I rebuke and chasten, be zealous,
therefore, and repent.
