It tells us here in verse 15 and 16 that there
are people before the throne of God who have their robes made
white in the blood of the Lamb. And there before the throne of
God serve Him day and night, and He descendeth on the throne.
It says in verse sixteen, They shall hunger no more, neither
thirst any more, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any
heat. For the Lamb, which is in the
midst of the throng, shall feed them, and shall lead them, like
he does right now in this world. That's why he feeds us and leads
us while we're in this world. And then it says, under the living
fountains of water, and God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes. That's what I want to talk about, wiping away all the tears
from their eyes. There's two subjects upon which
God's preachers, and I'm not talking about just any preachers,
I'm talking about God's preachers, that preach on less than anything
else. That's heaven and hell. They preach on heaven and hell
less than anything else. And the reason they preach on
hell less, because I don't know that I've ever... I know I mention
it in preaching, but to bring a whole message on hell, I don't
know that I've ever done it. The reason being because we find
it so hard to conceive of such an awful place. that there would
be such a place had not the scriptures itself told us that God had prepared
a place for those who reject His Son, will not believe on
Him, blaspheme Him, reject Him, that He has a place where He'll
punish them with everlasting destruction from His presence.
for eternally, that they'll be put in a place where the worm
dies amok and the fire's never quenched. Never quenched. And
that's... I can't conceive of such a thing
relative to myself. I know it's real, and I certainly
don't want to go. I don't want to go. I don't want
to be lost. I want to know Christ. I want
to trust Christ. I want to be saved. I want to
be saved the way that God says sinners are saved, through the
blood, through the righteousness, through the gift of faith, through
the repentance that God gives me by His blessed grace. I want
to be saved. I have been, I am being, and
I shall be. And another subject that we don't
preach on very often is heaven. And the reason we don't is for
the same reason. How in the world do we conceive
of it? You know, it's enjoyable to think about it, talk about
it, but it's a lot easier subject than hell. But, oh, you know,
we just... I heard Ed say one time, you've
got to let your whole imagination go, you know, and you've got
to... When you think about it, I mean,
to convey, it's so hard for us to convey the reality of it because
how little we understand of it and know of it ourselves, but
I sure enjoy thinking about it. I like meditating on it, and
very often I long to go. I like that we talk about going
home, going home. Now, you know, we get homesick,
and you can't be homesick if you ain't got a home to go to.
And we're going to go to our long home, and our long home's
in glory with our Lord Jesus Christ. And I'll tell you why
don't you look forward to living fully, fully, perfectly, completely
in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ? Huh? Don't you love to
be like these people here in His presence, day and night,
praising Him for the great salvation that He gave you in His blessed
Son? That He washed you white in His
blessed blood? And you stand before Him with
them palms of victory, saying, Salvation unto our God, and unto
the throne that sitteth on the Lamb forever. To be like Paul,
I'm in a strait betwixt two, desiring to depart and be with
Christ, which is far better. But yet, I have to stay here
with you, because that's better for you. And what does heaven
look like? Where is it? How big is it? What will we have when we get
there? These are questions that carnal religionists are interested
in. I certainly hope they're not
our primary concern. But still our minds, and I'm
going to bring several messages on this in the evening, Sunday
evening, starting here very soon, but still our minds, need some
idea of heaven, because it's going to be our eternal home.
It's going to be our eternal home. And let me give us some things
about it. I believe that the Scriptures, the Scriptures clearly,
clearly reveal. And the only way we can know
anything about heaven or hell is by what the Bible says. And the Scriptures tells us enough
about it. But I know this much about it,
heaven is a real place. It's a real place. God himself
dwells there. The heaven of heavens can't contain
him. And beloved, I'll tell you what else, that our Lord Jesus
Christ is there. He ascended into heaven and sat
down on the right hand of the throne of the majesty on earth.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is there. Because we see that the Lamb
was there. We see that God is there. And not only that, but
all the dead in Christ are there. All of those who have gone on
before us, who died and went to be with Christ, I mean like
our Lord said today, you'll be with me in paradise. The dead
in Christ, as the Scriptures tell us, that the dead in Christ
shall He bring with Him. Those that are falling asleep,
when He comes a second time, they'll come with Him. And then
we, which are alive, shall be changed in a moment in the twinkling
of an eye, and we'll be caught up to meet them in the air. And, oh, beloved, the angels
of God are there. Haven't we heard about the angels
being around the throne? The angels of God are there,
the elect angels of God. The angels have never failed.
Those that God chose to keep from falling, and they worshiped
God before. Michael the archangel, Gabriel
the archangel, and all the angels of God will be there. I'll tell
you something else the Scripture tells us about it. Heaven is
a prepared place, and God Himself prepared it, and our Lord Jesus
Christ purchased it for all of His elect. God, he said, he told
his disciples, he told his people, come ye into the kingdom prepared
for you from the foundation of the world by your Father, by
your God. And our Lord Jesus Christ purchased
it for all of his people. Bought it. That's why he says,
where'd these come from? Well, they came up out of great
tribulation and wore two robes, white and the blood of the Lamb.
And, oh beloved, it's for a place that God prepared it for His
elect, and it's a place of rest. It says, thus all cease from
their labors. He that enters into this rest,
that they cease from all their labors, they cease from their
works. And, oh my, it's a place of peace, perfect peace. perfect rest, perfect peace,
no more turmoil of mind, no more turmoil of soul, no more worries,
no more to peace, oh my good, peace throughout all eternity.
Because there won't be nothing to ever disturb the peace of
your heart. There'll be no conflicts between
people. There'll be no conflicts between
the heart and the flesh. No more conflicts. And oh, it's
a place of love. It's a place of everlasting,
eternal, blessed love. Every bit of enmity that a soul
has in his body, in his heart, in his mind, in his soul, it'll
be distinguished, it'll be extinguished, and it'll be a place of eternal
love. We love here, but oh my, To love
the place of love, the love of God manifested throughout eternity. The love of Christ will be manifested
to us perfectly clearly there. And our love for Him will be
perfect there and perfect with one another. I'll tell you something else
it'll be. It'll be a place of satisfaction. You reckon anybody
of you there won't be satisfied? What a place of satisfaction.
You know, we're rarely, rarely satisfied on this earth. Very
rarely satisfied. When was the last time you were
dissatisfied about something? Well, there it'll be perfect
satisfaction. I mean, it'll be satisfaction.
I mean, you'll be satisfied with everyone, everything, every place,
everything that's there. It'll be perfect. You'll be satisfied.
But of the fullness of it, the beauty of it, the glory of it,
all these things are, heaven is beyond our scope of understanding. Look what Paul says, look what's
over in 2 Corinthians, chapter 12. I'm going to show you something,
what the apostles said about heaven. And I know this, that
heaven's not a place of carnal sins. I've heard people make
some awful statements about it. Heaven's not a place of carnal
sense. Heaven's not a place of human imagination, because our
imagination cannot begin to conceive of what it's really like. But
look what he said here in 2 Corinthians 12, verse 2. This is the apostle
speaking now. He said, I knew a man in Christ
above fourteen years ago. Speaking about himself, whether
he was in the body, I cannot tell, or whether out of the body,
I cannot tell. But God knows. He knows whether
I was in the body or out of the body. But this person that I
knew 14 years ago was called up to the third heaven. Evidently,
that third heaven is where God himself dwells and where Christ
dwells. And he said, I knew such a man, whether in the body or
out of the body, I cannot tell, God knowing, how that he was
caught up into paradise. Now wherever paradise is at,
that's where our Lord Jesus told that thief, said, today thou
shalt be with me in paradise. So wherever this is at, Christ
was there. And he said, now listen to it, and heard unspeakable
words. I heard words from God, I heard
words from Christ, I heard words up there. Which is not lawful,
and the margin says not possible for a man to utter. I saw things
that I could not come back and tell you about. I saw things
that I couldn't express it to you. You couldn't grasp it. I
can't grasp it. Whether I was in the body or
out of the body, I don't know. But I saw things and I heard things
that I can't come back and tell you because you couldn't understand
it. So next time somebody tells you that they saw a vision, and
they went and had a near-death experience and was brought back,
and tell you all about it, don't believe them, because Paul said,
I went there, and I can't tell you anything about it. I can't
tell, but they begin to tell you what it's like. Huh? And that's why I have not seen
or heard nor has it entered into the heart of man. But whatever
our highest and grandest and spiritual thoughts about heaven
are, they fall far short of its reality. John said, Behold, we
does not yet appear what we shall be. But we know when He appears,
we'll be like Him. And Paul said again, Behold,
I show you a mystery. So heaven's not a place. It's
a place here in Revelation 7. It's not a place of human intellect. And I don't know what the fullness
and glory of heaven's going to be, but I do know this. Look
what it said here in Revelation 7, 17. God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes. God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes. Now, that's a great blessing
and comfort to me. And that's a great comfort and
blessing about our eternal inheritance that God's given us in Christ
before the world began. And the reason I say that, that
there'll be no more tears, and God'll wipe them all away, because
there's so many tears on the way to heaven. So many
tears before we ever get there. Now, our faith, the faith that
God gives us in Christ, delivers us from all the curse. Christ
has redeemed us from the curse of the law. He saved us from
all condemnation in this world. Them that are in Christ, There's
no condemnation to them. Nothing shall lay anything to
the charge of God's elect. But beloved, because Christ has
delivered us from the curse and condemnation, the one thing he
hasn't delivered us from and saved us from, that's from pain,
that's from trouble, like anybody else goes through in this world.
You know, believers, God's people, and this is one thing that the
world uses against the Lord's people. Believers suffer along
and suffer the same things that the world suffers. The same things
that people in this world suffer along with other people. You
know lots of things that cause us, we have physical pain. There's
some people right now in this congregation that's going through
some awful, awful physical pain. And we have to have sickness
like everybody else does. And financial losses. You know
believers lose their houses just like everybody else does. They
lose their jobs just like anybody else does. They lose their money
just like anybody else does. They have car wrecks just like
anybody else does. And they have, when they lose
a loved one, they grieve just like anybody else does. And they
have, you think believers are immune from family troubles?
All the tears that's been shed by mothers and fathers over their
children. How many preachers' sons and
daughters have been drug addicts and drunks and died alone? How many preachers do you know
that their sons and daughters, that they have to go and preach,
knowing that their son or daughter is out somewhere, all hooked
on drugs, and living in sin, and living without any regard
for God at all, though they was brought up under the sound of
the gospel, and now have no regard at all for Him. I know preachers that didn't
hear from their family and their sons or daughters in three, four
years at a time. and disappointments. Oh, the
disappointments we have in this world. We're disappointed in
people, disappointed in things, disappointed in jobs, and the
greatest disappointment we have is ourselves. And there's many, many things.
Oh, we suffer all the way to heaven. There's lots of weeping
on the way to heaven. Lots of weeping, but there'll
be none in glory. And there's many things which
bring tears to our eyes that the world knows absolutely nothing
about. And you know what it is? Our
inward sin. Oh, how many tears have we shed
over our sin? How many tears have we shed over
this inward sin? You know, I never knew what sin
was and had no problem with it until God saved me by His grace.
In fact, I would devise ways of God. I plan on going to sin
and never call it sin. I call it a good time. But oh
my, the tears just brought to our eyes over this inward sin,
this war between the flesh and the spirit, this war between
our hearts and our souls, and this war between that inward
man and that outward man. This war, I never thought for
a minute I could ever sin with my mind. But now, beloved, I
can't help but sin with it. I never thought for a minute
I could sin inside of me and feel sin to be such a burden.
But oh, the sin! Oh, wretched man that I am, Paul
said. I know that in me, that in my flesh
was no good thing. I see this war going on in my
members. I never had that problem at all.
Now, how many tears have been shed over that inward sin? How
many tears have we shed over our lack of resignation, our lack
of contentment in this world? Not being content, we get so
disgusted and we weep over our lack of resignation to the will
of God and the contentment that we have in Christ. A dear brother
told me this week, and I tell you, this is a fellow that used
to all have a big business and had a big house and go find cars
and give it all up. Now he just barely makes it from
week to week when he became a preacher, when he became a pastor. And
he said, you know, I'm more content right now in my life, and I have
less right now than I've ever had in my life, and I'm more
content right now than I've ever been in my life. Now he was that
way when he was talking to me. Next time he talks to me, he
may not be that way at all. But oh, my. I'll tell you, the
tears that comes to the brink, the world don't know nothing
about. They don't know nothing about wounded and injured pride. You
know why we get upset with people when they say things about us
and argue with us and that? Because of our pride. We argue
back with them because of our pride. When we get wounded and
our pride gets injured, and unbelief. I heard Brother Mahan last Week
before last, preaching on unbelief. Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief. There's so much I believe. I
believe God's sovereign. I believe Christ died for His
people. I believe that He died for His people and His people
only. I believe that man is such a sinner that we don't have any
idea how sinful the human race is. We don't have any idea the
depth of our own sin. But with all that I believe,
I still have to cry, Lord, I believe! But oh, God help my unbelief! And anger, oh, how many times
have we wept over our anger when we've got angry over nothing?
And our rash speaking so quickly? And how many tears have we shed
over our coldness of heart? And we come and say, Lord, why
is my heart so cold? Why ain't that touching me? Why
ain't that moving me? Why don't I touch by the Spirit
of God? And we weep over that. And depression. You say, Lord, people don't have
depression. I hope you never experience it.
I hope you don't. And, oh, beloved, I'll tell you
what, but every time, you know, all them tears will be done away.
And we even shed some precious tears here that God's going to
dry on the other side of Jordan. Oh, the tears of repentance.
When God brought us to where we wept over our sin, and I begged
God to forgive us in the shame of our sin and our tears of repentance,
and we said, Oh, Lord, and how many times have we shed tears
of repentance since? And what about tears of sympathy?
Somebody's hurt. Somebody's in trouble. Somebody's
lost somebody they love. And how many tears at times have
we been around them and been with them and hugged them and
we shed tears of sympathy for them? Oh, how many tears have we shed
sympathy for other people? How many tears have we shed over
concern for the troubles and heartaches and sorrows of other
people and our great concern for them? And how many tears
have we shed longing for the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ? Not just to go there, but to
have His presence here. And even now, Even right now,
while we're on this earth, our Heavenly Father does much to
dry our tears. Now, unless you think I'm making
the believer's life morbid, I'm not doing that. We know that's
not so. We have lots of joy on our way to glory. But our Lord
in grace does much to comfort our hearts in the midst of our
troubles and trials here and tears. I want to show you some
of them. Look with me in Isaiah 25. Look in Isaiah 25 with me
just a moment. Verse 8. Look what he says here. He will swallow up death in victory, and the Lord God will wipe away
tears from off all faces. And the Lord God shall wipe away
all tears from off all faces, and the rebuke of his people
shall he take away from all the earth that the Lord hath spoken."
Look in Isaiah 35 and verse 10. I want you to see these. These
are precious, precious things. And this is not in the millennium
either we're talking about. And look here at verse 10, Isaiah
35. And the ransom to the Lord shall
return. Gave his life a ransom for many,
and the ransom to the Lord shall return. And they'll come to Zion. They'll come to the church. They'll
come to Mount Zion. They'll come where God dwells
with song. and everlasting joy upon their
heads, and they shall obtain joy, and gladness, and sorrow,
and sign, shall flee away." Now look in Isaiah 43. Oh, He does
much in His grace to comfort our hearts, right in the midst
of all the troubles that we have here, and the troubles that we
go through here. He says here in verse 1, But
now, thus saith the Lord, always look who is talking. Who is talking
here? God is talking. That created thee, O Jacob, and
he that formed thee, O Israel, fear not, for I have redeemed
thee. I have called you by name. You are mine. You belong to me. And when you pass through the
waters, They went through the Red Sea, scared to death, and
Pharaoh's army coming after them. They passed through Jordan, and
God caused it to dry up. But He says, when you pass through
the waters, I'll be with you. When you go through the rivers,
they won't overflow you. When you walk through the fire,
when that fiery trial tries you, and oh, listen, when you go through
the fire, Thou shalt not be burned. When I put Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego in that fire, was they burned? You shall not be
burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon you. Oh, bless His
holy name. Those are promises He gives us.
I'll tell you what He does to dry our tears on the way to glory
right now. He gives us the ability to resign
everything to His will. For us to say, Lord, Your will
be done. That's why we say, God, we'll
meet again if it be Your will. If it be Your will, I'll live
another day. If it be Your will, You save
my children. If it be Your will, You save
that person from their sorrow. If it be Your will, raise them
back up. If it be Your will, and all mine. And He gives us faith. He gives
us faith in His providence, in His governing us in this life.
Oh, we rejoice in the wisdom of His providence. We rejoice
in the goodness of His providence. Has He ever stirred you wrong? Has He ever gave you something
that wasn't good? And then He reminds us of His gracious
purpose. You know what His purpose is?
Save His people, bring glory to His self, and conform us to
the image of His blessed Son. You've heard this before, but
I'll tell it to you again. A fellow went in an old country
store one time, and there was a fellow sitting around a potbelly
stove, and he was whittling. And there was dogs all over the
place there that he had whittled out, painted them. And the fellow
said, How in the world do you get them out of that block of
wood? He said, Well, I cut away everything that's going to look
like a dog. And that's what God's going to do to us. He's going
to cut away everything that don't look like Christ. And when He
takes His life to us sometime, pretty tough. But He's going
to do it. And what a gracious thing. Do
we look forward to that? I look forward to being like
Christ one of these days. And when I'm talking about being
like Him, sinless, perfectly, completely holy, body, mind,
soul, and spirit, that's where we're going to be like Christ.
And then He causes us to remember His blessed promise. He said,
I'll never, no never, no never, no never, no never leave you
nor forsake you. Oh, what am I going to say about
that? Well, the Lord is my helper. Why should I fear what man will
do to me? And then He blesses us with such a great, great knowledge
and an end of wondrous knowledge of His love for us. When He found
us polluted in our blood, He covered us with His nakedness
and He said, I say unto thee, in love, in love, I say unto
thee, live. He loved us with an everlasting
love, to love us before we were, and then to love us the way we
are. And to love us the way we think
and do and act and feel that He loves us and His love never
changes? What do you think about that? That there's no condition on
His love. You can't do anything to make
Him stop loving you. People fall in and out of love
in this world, but I tell you, God will never, ever change it. And He makes us to know that
here. Imagine what it would be like there. And I'll tell you why. And I'll tell
you how He drives our tears. He removes the cause of our pain.
He'll take it away from us sometimes. And oh, this is one thing he
gives us to dry our tears on our way to glory. He gives us
brothers and sisters like you all, like you all, to share our lives with, who
understands us and loves us in spite of ourselves. Knows us,
just, they know, every one of us know. That's why we don't
have to have testimony services. That's why you don't have to
tell me what's going on with you. How you feel, what you think,
what sends you. Listen, you can't turn your hand
for the difference for anyone I'm saying. You don't have to
stand up and tell me how bad you are. I know. You don't have
to stand up and tell me what you did last week. I know. You
don't have to tell me what goes on in your mind and heart. I
know. How do we know that? We're brothers
and sisters. And you know what? I take you
the way you are, you take me the way I am, and we still love
one another. We still pray for one another.
We still rejoice together, weep together, laugh together, suffer
together. What a blessing that is to have
that in his life. Do you know how many people never
had nothing like that? And then, let me show you this in 2 Corinthians
4, verse 15. I'll tell you something else
he does for us. He causes our hearts to be fixed
upon the things of Christ. Oh, look what he says here in
2 Corinthians 4, verse 15. Oh, he fixes our hearts. upon the things of Christ. That's
what He does. To help us with our tears and
troubles in this world. Give us comfort. Paul said here
in verse 15, 2 Corinthians 4, for all things are for your sakes.
What does he mean by that? That everything that happens
in this world is for your sakes. Ever trial, ever goodness, ever
mercy, ever comfort. And that, listen to this, that
the abundant grace The abundant grace that God gives you through
the thanksgiving of many, as we see God give you abundance
of grace and take you through faith, we give thanks to God
and it redounds to the glory of God. When we give thanks to
God for you, for the grace given you, God gets all the glory for
it, because we know that God did it. And because we know that
all things were our sake, that God gives an abundant grace,
and we give thanksgiving for that grace and He gets the glory
for it, for which cause we thank not, But though our outward man perish,
and it is, oh how it's perishing, yet the inward man is renewed
day by day. For our lot of affliction, which
is but for a moment, I don't care how bad your affliction
is if this world is light compared to eternity. And it's just for a moment compared
to eternity. But it works for us far more
than exceeding an eternal weight of glory. Now listen, while we
look not at the things that are seen, and when we see these things
happening and we're going through these things, you know what our
mind is. Lord, we go to the things that's unseen. Lord, we need
you. We need your grace. We need your mercy. We need your
strength. We need your comfort. We need your encouragement. Well,
we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that
are unseen. For everything we see and everything we go through
is temporal. But the things which are not
seen, they're forever, forever. And let me tell you this, in heaven, back over in our text,
over in Revelation 7, in heaven God will remove all
tears. God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes. Now, beloved, whatever heaven's
like, it's a place of bliss. It's eternal. And it's sure. And not only that, but it increases
and increases and increases and increases. And the reason it
does is because God's there. And Christ is there. And if God
didn't wipe away all our tears from our eyes, you know how much
weeping there'd be in heaven, and there can't possibly be any
weeping in heaven. I know John R. Rice put out a
book years and years ago that there's going to be weeping in
heaven over people weeping over all the messes they made in this
life. But if God didn't wipe away all our tears, there would
be weeping in heaven over our past sins. But as far as God's concerned,
we don't have any past tens. And we weep over the unconverted
ones we left behind. How many people are unconverted
in this service today? That if the Lord comes and takes
us all out of here, you know what? We'll never enter our minds
ever again. And the only time you're on our
hearts and minds is while we're here right now. Wanting you to
be believers. Wanting to see you converted.
Wanting to see you know Christ. Not so you can go to heaven,
but so you can go be with Christ. So you can go be with Him. Do
like these people are. Stand around the throne and say,
Oh, salvation to our God and the Lamb that sits on the throne.
Where do you come from? Oh, they came out of tribulation.
They had great trials and great tribulations while they was in
this world. But how'd they get here? They
came through that tribulation, washed their robes white in the
blood of the Lamb. Oh my! And they're around the
throne now! What are they doing? Praising
God! And oh, we'd weep over wasted
opportunities, over the terrible price of our
redemption, And, oh, if God didn't wipe away our tears, our unkindness,
oh, my, how we grieve over our unkindness and lack of love to
our brethren while we're on the earth. But, bless His holy name,
God shall wipe away all tears from our eyes. Oh, He'll remove
every cause of outward grief. He'll remove all sin from us,
from all sin, and all sin from us. And all fear of change will be
gone. Oh my. No more changes in this world.
Ever desire of our hearts will be gratified. We'll be like Christ. Oh my. We'll be like Christ. Not all that, but we'll see Christ
ourself face to face. And we'll love Him perfectly.
We'll serve Him unceasingly and we'll worship Him, bless His
holy name at that throne without sin. We'll know Him perfectly
and finally rest in Him perfectly and completely with no reservations
anymore. And oh, beloved, and we'll have
our Lord entirely. And we'll enjoy Him fully. Huh? No wonder David said, I'll be
satisfied when I wake in your likeness. This one thing of my
desire, that I might dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Let me ask you some questions. I see some of you getting tired.
Let me ask you some questions. Will you be among that happy,
blessed company of God's people around there. Will you be among
those who the Scripture says in verse 9 here of Revelation
7, will you be among that great multitude? And after this, I
beheld a great multitude which no man could number. Will you
be there? One of those people that's before the throne, clothed
with white robes, You see, not everyone will be
among the people of God in heaven. My mother won't be there. My
daddy won't be there. The uncle that I stayed with for
years, he won't be there. They have no interest in God.
They have no interest in Christ. And if God don't do something
for my brothers and sisters, they won't be there, because
they have no interest in Christ. They got interest in the Pope,
but they don't have any interest in Christ. They have an interest
in Mary, but they don't have an interest in Christ. They have
an interest in doer good, but they don't have an interest in
Christ. Not everybody will be among the people of God in heaven.
And I know this, not one person who will be there, who will be
there because they deserve to be. I won't be there because I deserve
to be. I'll be there because Christ redeemed me by His blood,
saved me by His grace, washed me in His blood, made me righteous. And He put heaven in my heart
so that I'd have to enjoy heaven when I got there. But there'll
be many there, a multitude that no man can number. And who else
will be there? All who have been washed in the
blood. Look what he says there in verse 13. And one of the elders
answers, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in
white robes? And how did they get here? Where did they come
from? And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said, These
are they which came out of great tribulation, worked the robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. I tell you, who
else will be there? All who are clothed with His
righteousness. All who love His name here, all
who are chosen of God will be there. And all who have bowed
to Him here and submitted to Him here, to rule over them as
their Lord, as their Sovereign, as their King, that come to Him
to teach them as their prophet teach them of God, and come to
Him to cleanse them and make them acceptable. Huh? Oh, my. Let me ask you. Will
you be there? Will you be there among that
multitude? Will you be there whose robes
are worse white than the blood of the Lamb? Will you be there
praising God for His great salvation? Will you be the one, Jerry, that
God will take away every tear that you ever come across and
never ever weep? Will you be there? God will have
mercy on you and bring you to Christ, and then you'll want
to go. And you'll enjoy a little of
it while you're here. Our Father, in the blessed, glorious,
holy, righteous name of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be your name for this
great, great salvation, for this salvation that you accomplished, for perching in us, for redeeming
us, for loving us, And for one day you will come and take us
unto yourself, that where you are, there we may be also. Lord,
please have mercy upon those in this service today, saved
by your blessed grace. Open hearts, open minds, open
understandings, and bring people to yourself, for Christ's sake. Amen. I'm going to read one verse
of Scripture I thought of while I was praying. And I'll tell
you, just to give you an idea of what we're talking about.
And then you can go. But I'll just read it to you. Our Lord Jesus Christ, when He
prayed for His people in John 17, said, Father, I will that
they also whom Thou hast given Me be with Me where I am, that
they may behold My glory which Thou hast given Me. You reckon we'll go and see that
glory? You reckon? I believe we will. I believe
we will.
