The devil might tempt and say, look, if you were really saved, you wouldn't still lust after those things. You wouldn't still go after those things. But Peter says, oh yes. Oh yes, old nature will. But you are called to obey now your Lord and Master in willingly crucifying these things, putting them to death, resisting them, striving against them.
