Let's be turning to Exodus chapter 4. Moses, in verse 18, he asks his father-in-law to leave, to leave his father-in-law that he may go back to Egypt. And he says to visit his family, to visit some that he hasn't seen in a long time. So he doesn't tell him about his meeting with the Lord, not recorded in scripture anyway. It doesn't say that he said anything about that. And Moses likely still had some reservations about going back to Egypt here. And so to dismiss his fears and concerns, the Lord says in verse 19, he says to Moses, Emidi and go. return into Egypt, for all the men are dead which sought thy life."

And so he now takes his family, his wife and his sons, with him, and at the end of verse 20 adds that he took the rod of God in his hand also. Now from this point forward, in this passage here, The Lord prepares Moses with the commission. He's re-summarizing, he's reiterating to Moses an outline of his ministry that he's to have here in this world. He's speaking to him about what he's going to be ministering, and this is being pictured here in the commission. The Lord gives Moses a commission. He summarizes everything that he's been saying to him, and he puts it into a tidy little commission here, saying that he's to go and to seek the lost sheep of the house of Israel, but he carries a warning, a warning of judgment to those who do not believe and do not hear this word. So here's the summary of his commission in verses 21 through 23.

And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand. But I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. thou shalt say unto Pharaoh thus saith the Lord Israel is my son even my firstborn and I say unto thee let my son go that he may serve me and if thou refuse to let him go behold I will slay thy son even thy firstborn so when the Lord is sending Moses, he's telling him, you do those wonders that I put into your hand to do.

And so what are those wonders? Again, let's just repeat this here because it's a beautiful picture of the gospel. These are signs of the gospel. The first picture that the Lord put in Moses' hand was that rod of him casting down the rod to the ground and it turning into a serpent and then Moses was given power and authority to take that serpent by the tail and it became a rod in his hand again. And it shows, it demonstrates to us the power and the authority that Moses had. But it's a picture of the power and authority that the Lord gave to the Son of God, whom he sent into this world to save his people from their sins.

That when our Lord came, the reason why he came was to destroy the works of the devil. Everything that had happened in the garden was now made right by the Lord Jesus Christ. He overturned the works of the devil. The scriptures in 1 John 3 saying, he that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. And when you hear what that saying is, we got a problem, because we're all sinners. Every one of us is a sinner. And it's saying, therefore, that we're of the devil. We're of the devil. We are under his dominion, his power by nature.

But here's the good news. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil. You and I can, but he can. He has the power and the authority to do it, and he did it, and he does it. He works it in his people. So the first sign declares to us the purpose of Christ's coming, who he is, and why he came. He came to obtain the forgiveness of the sins of His people. He came to destroy the enmity that is in us by nature.

He came and satisfied the Father perfectly in all things, perfectly righteous. And He gives us that righteousness whereby we are made righteous, we are cleansed, we are perfect before Him that calls us. We are received of Him, accepted of Him, all in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. His eternal, glorious righteousness.

Now, the second sign, it was of Moses putting his hand to his heart, right? And it's a picture of the heart making his hand leprous. And then he put his hand back on his breast there, and it was made whole again. And it's a picture, one, it tells us that it's not what we do that makes us sinners, but rather we sin because our heart is evil. Our heart is corrupt. Our heart is defiled. That's why we do wicked things. That's why our hand is leprous, as it were, a picture of sin, because our heart is corrupt and evil.

But it pictures there the redemption work of the Lord Jesus Christ, who cleanses us from all our sin. That second sign speaks of the new birth, which is accomplished in us by the Lord Jesus Christ, cleansing us of sin, making us new creatures, making us to hear God, to believe him, to follow the true and living God, to follow the shepherd whom he sent.

And then the third sign. was only to be done if the people did not hear the first two signs. So those first two signs speak of the gospel, and this third sign If they did not hear, he was to take water from the river, pour it out on the ground, the water would be turned to blood, and all the river waters, well, in the first sign, what he does, become blood as well. And so it's a picture of judgment. It's a warning of judgment to those who do not believe the first two signs, to those who do not believe the Lord Jesus Christ for all their righteousness.

And so that's what we see here in these three signs. The first two are declaring the gospel, who Christ is, why he came, and what he accomplished. That is the gospel. who he is, why he came, and what he accomplished for us. That's the declaration. That's declared to us in the preaching of the gospel.

And the third one speaks of judgment. So that you that believe have the gift of eternal life. It's God demonstrating by giving you faith that you're his, that Christ shed his blood for you. And you that believe not, what he's saying is all you have is coming judgment. That's it. That's all you can expect is coming judgment.

And all these things are made known through the preaching of the gospel. And that's what those signs pictured given to Moses. So what we're learning here is that this is about ministering the gospel to others, ministering the gospel and seeking out the Lord's sheep and doing all things for the sake of the elect and in the world right ministering the gospel in the world here and it's revealed in this passage that we're looking at this morning so first we're told in regards to ministering the gospel right that's what I'm going to relate this to to preaching the gospel to ministering the gospel first of all what the Lord shows us is that his people will hear the gospel. His people will believe the gospel.

Turn back to Genesis 3.18, sorry, Exodus 3.18. I have Genesis in my notes for some reason.

Exodus 3.18, where he says, they shall hearken to thy voice. My people are going to hear you, Moses.

You go in and preach the gospel, right? You go and do these signs I've given to you. picture of preaching the gospel, they will hear your voice. God's people will believe Christ and they will follow him because God is pleased to manifest life in them for whom Christ died. That's what he makes known in the scriptures, that there's no mystery. It becomes evident. You just preach the gospel and God will make it evident those that are his. They will hear the gospel and they will follow the Lord Jesus Christ. But then Moses is going now to preach the same message to Pharaoh. And Pharaoh is a picture of the world. He is representing the whole world there. He's the representative of all of Egypt. And Egypt is a picture of this world.

And God tells Moses that Moses is not going to believe. Verse 21 in Exodus 4, 21. For God will harden his heart that he shall not let the people go. And so one thing the Lord is doing here is he's showing us our need of grace. We're in bondage. We're sinners by nature. We cannot free ourselves. We cannot get ourselves saved. And that's why we don't use that phrasing, I got saved. It sounds like we got ourselves saved. No, the Lord saves his people. Jesus Christ saved his people when he redeemed them on the cross and now he works this salvation out in us, in his appointed time, an hour of grace. And so we need his grace. We are in bondage to the devil. We are in bondage to this world. We are in bondage to sin and bondage to death, and we cannot free ourselves. We cannot get ourselves out just like we cannot free ourselves of the grave. Now, we read of this truth through many scriptures, so let me just take a moment here regarding this hardening of the heart, regarding this blindness, regarding this deadness. Let me just share a few scriptures here with you on that very subject.

In 2 Corinthians 4, verse 3 through 4, Paul says, but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. If it's hid, it's hid to them that are lost. In other words, God's people are going to hear it. And so those that don't hear it and won't hear it and can't hear it, it's because they are lost. In whom, verse four, the God of this world, little g God of this world, hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

And so this passage here is showing this natural bondage that man is under, this natural darkness, this natural prison that he's in that he can't free himself from. And if the Lord leaves a man in that nature's darkness, that's where he's going to remain. He's never going to be able to unlock the prison door and open it and get himself out. He's never going to willingly come into the light and confess that God has done this, because he's going to remain there.

In fact, he told Isaiah in Isaiah 6, verse 9 through 10, He said to him, he gave him this commission, go and tell this people, hear ye indeed, but understand not, and see ye indeed, but perceive not. make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed."

And what this is revealing to us is that there is a distinguishing grace of God. He manifests, He shows forth them that are His, because if He leaves you in that lethargy, that stupor, that sleep, and you never hear it, and you never come out of it, it can only mean one thing, that you are lost, you're blinded, and you're left there in nature's darkness.

But if you do hear it, And the Lord does deliver you from your sin and gives you that hope of the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby you hear his voice and you follow him. You just follow Christ. You confess him and trust him. Well, that's a picture of God's grace toward you, that he's done this. And if he's done that, you just keep on following him. You keep on. giving yourself wholly to the Lord and to his gospel, to hear it. And as we saw in the last hour, you just keep putting that pound to work, right?

You just keep, just lean into that treasure that the Lord's given you in the gospel. Therefore, because of this distinguishing grace, Hebrews 12, 12 through 13 says, take heed, brethren, Take heed, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."

Right? As we go through this world, And as we're out there in this world, and we all know it, those thoughts come in, those doubts come in, those temptations come in to turn your eyes to say, what am I waiting for? Why don't I just go and partake of the lusts of this world? Why don't I just do that?

Don't heed them. Don't listen to them. They come in. Many have heard it. And those that were only stirred up for a little bit in the flesh, they'll go off and be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. But you that here, you just take heed. Lord, save me. Lord, keep me. Lord, keep me ever looking to Christ. Turn my heart, turn me from the dead things of this world. Cry out to him, Abba, Father, save me. Save me, Lord. And he does. He does encourage and help his children. That's why he tells us to call upon him, because we need him. We need him.

All right, turn over to Romans 11. Romans 11, verses 5 through 10. Here we have an example. in the Jews of what happened to them who rejected Christ. That's what the natural man will do, rejected Christ. Even so, verse 5, then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace, meaning there's a small number according to the election of grace that do believe. And if by grace, then it's no more of works, otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace, otherwise work is no more work. What then? What happened to Israel then?

Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for. He professes that he loves God and that he serves and follows God, but he's not obtained it. What he's saying he's seeking But the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded, according as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day.

And David saith, let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense unto them. Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow down their back always. Always. Don't even give them repentance in their heart. Keep them in that blindness, for they've rejected you, Lord.

That's what David's saying. All right, and so there's a warning also in 2 Thessalonians. Go to 2 Thessalonians, verse 2. 2 Thessalonians 2, 8 through 12. And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, even him whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness, and them that perish.

Because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie. They won't even realize the darkness and bondage that they're in, that they all might be damned who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And so, we need this grace of God. That's what it's communicating to me, is we need this grace of God to deliver us from that death, to deliver me from that darkness, to take me out of that prison of nature's darkness and death. And that's what it stirs us up, that we would cry out to the Lord, save me, Lord. Help me keep my wandering heart. Keep me ever looking to you, Lord, lest I should become hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and perish in my sins.

That's why he's telling us this. And it keeps us from being haughty and puffed up and careless, right? To stay upon him. He tells us this and makes us to hear, because the wicked don't hear. You that believe, you're the ones that are usually stirred up by this and troubled and say, Lord, help me. Lord, keep me, because I'm such a fool by nature. Keep me. And the wicked, they don't even care.

But the Lord says it, and you hear. You believe Him. Therefore, we seek to do the Lord's will in hearing His preaching, faithfully, right, to hear the gospel, faithfully preach to us, knowing that the Lord must take that word, give us ears to hear it, and make it effectual in our hearts to give us life and to make us stay upon him. Otherwise, we perish.

But Isaiah 55.11 says, so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. And that's what is happening with Pharaoh, right?

Some, he purposes to make it profitable to you, to make you to hear it in your heart and to believe Christ. And others, it just hardens them and seals them up in it. But either way, it's profitable. Either way, it's accomplishing what God intended it to accomplish.

All right, now back in verse 22 of Exodus 4. Moses has to deliver this message, and he does so in the name of the great Jehovah, of Jehovah God. Thus saith the Lord. When you go to the Pharaoh and you talk to him, say, thus saith the Lord. And this is the first time this phrase, this preface is ever used in scripture. This is the first time where a man came up and said, thus saith the Lord.

And then after that, the prophets used it a lot. They used it a lot in Israel. Now, preachers today, we don't really use this phrase, and we don't speak like this typically, if at all. But what this does say to us, even if we don't say it, is it makes us mindful of whom we're coming, in whose name we come to speak to the people of God. and to the people, right?

In other words, there's a solemnity to it. There's a soberness in it that I'm speaking to you in the name of God. Therefore, Lord, make my words true. Let me not be careless. And Lord, help me as I study. Lord, give me the message that I need to hear, and then take that message and give it to your people that they need to hear. Make it profitable unto us.

And so we want there to be, I want to be sincere and accurate in what I say. Because I'm speaking in the name of the Lord, and these are concerning eternal things. These are things that, if the Lord blesses it, makes it profitable to your soul. Makes it profitable to you, eternally profitable to you. And so we are commissioned of God to preach the gospel.

And this is one of my favorite passages in Luke 24. I go to it a lot, but in Luke 24, I'm going to read it again. This is our risen Lord in verse 46 through 48. Our risen Lord now is giving the commission. When you see the commission in Matthew 28, where he says, go into all the world, preach the gospel, make disciples of men, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I believe this here And Luke 24 is really drilling into what our Lord said to his disciples. It's the commission. It's what we are to preach. This is how disciples are made.

And it says in verse 46, our Lord said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day. Someone might ask, if he's the son of God, how is it that he came to the world and they rejected him? and they mocked him and treated him cruelly and they whipped him and beat him and put him to death on the cross. How is he the son of God? Well, it's written in the scriptures that it was necessary for Christ to suffer. He had to come and suffer and to die, to rise from the dead the third day. This was necessary for our redemption, for our sins to be put away, without which we cannot be saved. He came as the Lamb of God. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem.

In other words, because this is so, don't just go on doing the things that you always did in dead letter religion. Turn from those things. Hear Christ. Follow Him. Come out of that deadness. Come out of that dead letter religion. Come out of that darkness. believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and follow him. Because this is so, hear the Son of God, hear him, follow him.

And he says, ye are witnesses of these things. This is what you are to preach to the people. This is the gospel whereby to the living, it's the power of God. It's what broke them out of that bondage and that prison and brought them into the light, confessing that what's going on in here is wrought of God. And that's what it's showing here. You're witnesses of these things.

So we're to preach this gospel knowing that this is the mystery of God which was hid. It was here all along, but not understood. It's right here. You can go right back to Genesis chapter 1 and read all the way through and see it's all testifying of Christ. It's all revealing the gospel to us, who Christ is, why he came, and what he accomplished. It's just all there. It's just every page that you see, we see the Lord Jesus Christ, so that Paul said, we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.

Anybody off the street can pick up this Bible and see the laws. See, do this and don't do that, and then die in their sins. Anybody can do that. They can get some religion out of this thing and change some behaviors. based on the law that's in here, but it does nothing for their soul. But when they hear the mystery revealed, that is testifying of Christ and what He did to save His people, that He's our Savior, that He's everything, that is the mystery revealed unto a sinner, made known to a sinner.

And so we're to preach the gospel, which is pictured in these signs that the Lord gave to Moses, that he's there preaching to the world in these signs, doing these signs before all, to make all men see, this is Ephesians 3.9, to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. You didn't know it, but the word of God made the whole world. And through the preaching of the word, now you know He's Lord. He's God coming to flesh. And He reveals the Father to me. He brings me into fellowship with the true and living God. To whom? And so God's bringing us into fellowship in the understanding of this mystery revealed.

Not just because we're religious people and use the word God or the word Jesus, or because we're religious now. That's not salvation. What he's saying is if you're his, he brings you into fellowship. giving you an understanding of this mystery, which is speaking of revealing Christ. Or as Paul said, to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, because the Jews rejected it. But that didn't stop God, because he always intended to bring it to the Gentiles too. And we see it now in the Gentiles, which is what? Christ in you, the hope of glory. Or in other words, We're not left dead. We're made new creatures. We're born again. We're given a spirit. Otherwise, we're none of his. If you have not the spirit of God, you're none of his.

And so this has to do with the ministry of the gospel. Moses is going down to Egypt, to the world there, to preach this gospel, to make these things known to all. And the Lord says to Moses, secondly, Moses, you're going to tell Pharaoh of Israel's relation to God. And when I say Israel, I'm talking about the Israel of God, the believers.

Those who hear Christ and trust Him for all their righteousness. You're going to make known God's relation to His people and His concern for them. You're going to make sure you speak of this. And that we see in verse 22. Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn. And so, He's making known, Moses is there preaching to Pharaoh as it were, to the world as it were, that God has a people.

That there is a people whom the Lord loves and he is saving them, like he's bringing them out. He's gonna make it known that these are his people. He's gonna reveal who they are by revealing faith in them. They're going to believe. They're going to hear. They're going to believe the word that they've heard. And so we preach the grace of God, and that reveals the distinction of God that he makes in his people.

John 637, our Lord said, all that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. There is a people. There is a people of God. whom the Lord loved from before the foundation of the world, whom He chose and committed their care, their safekeeping to the Son, to Jesus Christ, to make sure that they will not be lost and condemned with the wicked, but they shall be brought out and given light and life in Him.

And so our Lord says, I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. And this is the Father's will. That's who sent the Son, the Father. This is his will, which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone which seeth the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. And so our Lord is declaring here, I have saved my people. I love them. I have done everything necessary for their life and salvation. And He did not fail. He's not coming short in it. They shall hear. They shall be brought out. If you are the Lord, you shall hear His word. You shall hear His gospel. It'll be good news ringing in your ears. And you will follow Christ. You'll believe Him. You'll confess Him and follow Him. And then third, our Lord tells Moses to demand a discharge of God's people. Verse 23, and I say unto thee, let my son go, that he may serve me. And if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

This stands out to me as a picture of proclaiming the gospel. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. But there are those, there are those that will hear that, and will believe. I do. Because the Lord does it. He affects it. He makes that word affectual in the heart.

But there are those that won't hear it. And he's saying, if you don't hear it, I'll slay your firstborn. Your old man of flesh. will be destroyed. Your old man of flesh will go to hell and be cast into the lake of fire. That's what he's saying. Because there's nothing else for you. If you don't believe Christ, there is no promise of salvation.

But he has brought this in us. He's accomplished this in us. Romans 6, 6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Christ, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin, for he that is dead is freed from sin." Right? We're preaching Christ, declaring your liberty. You're free from sin.

Trust Him. Believe Him. He is the very righteousness of God, and all who come to the Father in Christ are righteous in and by the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our righteousness. He's the hope of every believer. He's the hope of every sinner. who is made to see a sin and know his offense of the Father, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." It's what pleases God.

It pleases the Father well that none should be lost. And so just as, right? And so Paul goes on to say, if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him, knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more. Death hath no more dominion over him.

That's why it says in Revelation, you that have been raised from the dead, you that are partakers of the first resurrection, which is what? You're being born again by Christ. That's the first resurrection. You were born spiritually dead. You are raised anew to newness of life, the first resurrection. And Revelation says, the second death, when you die in this flesh, hath no more power over you.

No more power over you. You have nothing to fear. You have Christ. You live. You have eternal life and the blessings of God, the inheritance of God. So death hath no more dominion over him, and it has no more dominion over you and I that believe him. For he that died, he died unto sin once, but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lust thereof. At one time, we stood in the inheritance of Adam. That was all we knew and all we had. We've been delivered from that. Well, stand in the inheritance of Christ.

Believe him. Trust him. Cry out to him. Seek him for his grace and mercy. to help you in time of need. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

And so through the gospel, we are proclaiming the liberty of the sons of God. that you are free in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He has saved you, that He's accomplished this salvation. Believe Him, trust Him for it. And so Jesus Christ is the firstborn from the dead, the eternal Son of God, and by Him He manifests them that are His, by giving you faith. We preach this gospel to all men, but it is God who reveals those that are His redeemed sheep by revealing faith in them.

Romans chapter 1, 16 and 17. For I, Paul said, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. I'm not going to tell you to do other things as though I'm embarrassed by this. This is the gospel. This is what the Lord gives us to declare, to preach, to proclaim. I have a people. whom I love, and I saved them by my Son, my firstborn." Now, you let them go. You just preach this, and they shall be set free. He says, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. The telltale sign is they believe. You want to know who the Lord's people are? They believe. They're not going to continue in unbelief. He's going to reveal. They're mine. How do you know? They believe. They believe. God has done that.

Faith is of the spirit, not of the flesh. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, the just shall live by faith. God manifesting his will. He wills that we live by faith. And so we're going to walk by faith. We're not going to always see things as we would see them or as we think we should see them, because it's going to be and it is a walk of faith. We are leaning and depending upon him.

And so Paul is describing the new birth, the resurrection from our first death, who were dead in trespasses and sins, but now we are made new creatures in and by the Lord Jesus Christ. With this faith which is wrought in us who are effectually called by His grace through the preaching of the Word of God. As Paul said, whereunto He called you by our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's not a failure. God doesn't fail. He only succeeds. And so you that are His shall obtain this life. because it's given effectually by his glory and power. It succeeds because of God's grace and power to us, to those for whom the Lord Jesus Christ has shed his blood. He delivers from eternal death. He gives eternal life by the giving of his spirit and pouring out his grace upon us, washing us in the blood of Christ, manifesting them that are his through the preaching of the gospel, declaring the suffering and shed blood of Christ made effectual for us."

And then just to say, those that do not believe, God will destroy them, right? Their firstborn, their old man of flesh will perish. You that believe shall be raised from the dead. Your old man shall live again, be made anew, a new flesh, a new body, and a new body to worship him.

Therefore, this gospel is preached throughout all the world, and in the preaching of it, God reveals them that are his. Through the preaching, we're making manifest the savor of his knowledge everywhere we go. And to some, it's a saver of life unto life. To others, it's a saver of death unto death.

And God is glorified either way, either way, because he's the one whose purpose is to make it effectual in and how he shall make it effectual. And so I'm going to stop there. But understand, just understand what a beautiful picture it is that we see here with Moses. He's commissioned of God to preach this, and it's successful. It's effectual in God's people. And we can count on that, because it's his word of promise. And he's not going to fail to honor his word of promise. He's faithful. So I pray the Lord bless that.
