Get your book back out. I want to show you something. Ephesians 5, 19 tells us to speak to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things unto God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Singing will do your heart good. It'll cheer you up.

Go back to 290. Number 290. You'll notice at the top of these pages the title, the section, Guidance and Care. You start right here and just keep singing. Look at these hymns. Number 290, Be Still My Soul. 291, guide me O thou great Jehovah. 292, surely goodness and mercy. 293, the Lord's my shepherd. 294, savior like a shepherd leadeth. 295, he leadeth me. 296, all the way my savior leads me. 297, God will take care of you. 298, God leads us along. 299 day by day. Just start in 290 and start singing till you cheer up. I'm telling you, it does you good. All right, Jeremiah 29. Jeremiah 29. We got a lot to sing about, don't we? We really do. Nothing to complain about. It's all good.

Brother David says, the Lord out to do you good. Jeremiah 29 verse 1. These are the words of the letter that Jeremiah, the prophet sent from Jerusalem under the residue of the elders. This is God's word through the prophet. That's how he speak God. sundry town, divers manners, baked unto the fathers by the prophet. So he gave these words to Jeremiah, his prophet. There weren't many, but there were some true men of God sent by God with the words of God. That's how you know God sent them.

They don't preach their dreams. They don't preach their imagination. They preach God's word. The law and the testimony is what they give witness to. And it's to the residue. I like that. God's people are called residue, the leftovers, the remnants. It's another term for God's elect. Romans 11 says there's, even now there's a remnant according to the election of grace. In any given time in history, God's people have been few, just a remnant. in the midst of a vast world that didn't know God, didn't believe God.

God's chosen few. How blessed. How blessed. And they were in captivity in Babylon. Verse four says, the Lord says, I put them there. Why? Sin. Rebellion. That's the way we were born, wasn't it? Rebels. Oh yeah. If you don't admit that, you're not God's people. That's what you find out. That's what all Israel found out. That God did this because they were rebels against God. But God. Tell those prisoners of hope, coming for him. I'm going to visit him." And he did. He does. And he will. Captives in Babylon. Now God's people were captives.

And Christ said, you know the truth, the Son shall make you free. Free indeed. God's people are not captive to sin, though they are tempted by it, and though they're taunted and They feel like they're captives, but they're not. Our Lord said, sin shall, what?

Not have dominion over you. You're not under the law, you're under the grace, goodness of our God, who leads captivity captive. We're captives all right, but to Him, willing bond slaves. They're not in captivity to sin like the world is, like they once were. No, no, no. Such were some of you, but now you're washed. You're justified, you're sanctified. They're not in captivity to Satan.

Oh, no. No, stronger than he has come and bound that strong man. He can't do anything to God's people except God allow him to. He said that to Simon, didn't he? Satan desired you, Simon, but he can't have you unless I say so. And it'll be for your good.

They're not in bondage to Satan, but they're in a world, they're in a body of death, and they've grown to be free from this, don't they? You feel like we are bound by the flesh, aren't we? Our minds... And we've grown to be free from this. The world doesn't feel in captivity. People of the world don't think they're captive. When the scripture says the God of this world holds them captive at his will, they're doing his will, but men and women don't think that. Oh, I'm free. I remember in the 60s, 70s, oh, we were free. What a bunch of blooming idiots. We started this mess. My generation, oh, we're free, free love and free thinkers.

No, you're doing what everybody else is doing and you're doing what the God of this world is telling you to do. You're just a pawn according to the purpose of God. Satan is his pawn. That's the God of this Bible. There is no comfort or peace otherwise. Read the book of Job, first couple chapters anyway. So the world doesn't think they're in captivity. All God's people, the remnant, the residue, they like the people in Egypt were crying because of their hard task. groaning and crying and calling on the Lord and the Lord heard them. And it's Exodus 3, didn't he?

He said, I've heard the groanings of my people. And he said, I am come down. You won't hear this again. I am come down. He did, didn't he? To bring them out, to bring them up, to bring them in the promised land. That's what Jesus Christ did. And shall do. So we call, we feel like we're in captivity, don't we? Mm, my, my. And now verse four, go down to verse four where the letters start. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captive. Do you feel captive? Do you? You want out? You calling on the Lord to deliver you?

Thus saith the Lord to my people. that I've caused to know that they're needin' savin'. Build your houses, look at verse five, read on down to verse seven. Build houses, dwell in them, plant gardens, eat the fruit of them, take your wives, beget sons and daughters, take wives for your sons of God's people. He says that over and over again. Don't marry unbelievers. The Lord's over and over and over. He said, they will steal your heart away from me.

Yes, sir. But take husbands and wives, give your daughters to husbands that know the Lord, and bear sons and daughters that you may be increased there and not diminished. Seek the peace of the city where they have caused you to be carried away captive. Pray unto the Lord for it, and the peace thereof shall you have peace. Build, plant, buy, sell, marry, have children, enjoy yourselves. Scripture said, God said, it gives us all things richly to enjoy them.

Turn to Ecclesiastes 2. Ecclesiastes 2, very quickly. This is the book of life, Ecclesiastes, of life on earth. There's nothing you've had or will have or go through or do that's not written in this book, Ecclesiastes. Solomon, the Lord had him write this. So Ecclesiastes.

The Lord had him write this and had him go through everything, own everything, and try to get some happiness from everything, people, things. He said, and what he began and concluded with, it's all vanity. It doesn't satisfy. He said, I tried it. music, swimming pools, houses, food, drink, wine, you name it. He said, I've tried it. He won't satisfy you. Because the mouth is never satisfied. The ear is never satisfied. This lust of the flesh is never satisfied. Only one thing's satisfied. It's crying. Foolishness of crying.

Ecclesiastes 2, though, that God says to us, verse 24, nothing better. Then for a man that he should eat, drink, should make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, this was from the hand of God. Eat, drink, buy, sell, marry. But he goes on to say, look at chapter seven, chapter seven, verse 14. Have it, Ecclesiastes 7, 14.

In a day of prosperity, be joyful. But in the day of adversity, when you lose it all, and you will. Ecclesiastes 12, you will. It says in verse 14, the day of adversity, consider God has set the one over against the other. prosperity and adversity to the end that man should find nothing after him.

You're not going to find anything here, lasting peace or value or comfort or joy because you lose it. And the sorrow of losing is as great as the joy of getting, if not greater, it really is. If you don't have Christ, it's greater. If you have Christ, you can say what Job, the Lord gave, The Lord has taken away. He's going to. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

And the one thing he can't take away, if the root of the matter is in you. I know my Redeemer liveth and I'm waiting for my change. All my days I'm gonna wait. The days of my vanity. So you have that, God's good. His tender mercies are over all his works. Psalm 145 said, He gave us all things richly to enjoy, young people. You heard it, you read it. God's not against you enjoying yourself. Come on. If you've been evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children. How much more? So your heavenly Father, give good things. Right? Open your mouth. How feel is it? Isn't God good?

He does this for the evil. Those that don't acknowledge Him, work hard, you'll have these things. But then God will bring you, Ecclesiastes ends with this, God will bring you into judgment for these things. If you don't give Him the glory for them. If you don't give Him the glory for them. If you don't say with Paul, by the grace of God, I am what I am. You're gonna be judged and punished by them. And he used them for his glory.

So, go back to our text. I was gonna have you turn to Luke 17. Remember he said, remember the days of Noah? Remember? As in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking. buying and selling, and a lot, and marrying, planting, planting, marrying, and so forth. And they knew not, they weren't looking for Christ at all. And he came back and destroyed them all. So we need to remember that.

Enjoy yourself, but give, you know, things are a lot more enjoyable when you know your Heavenly Father gave them to you. And they're a lot less stressful when you know he'd take them away when he sees fit. That's fine. Naked I came, naked I'll return.

So, Jeremiah 29, build, plant. Verse seven, seek the peace of the city I've caused you to be carried away, captain. Pray for him. Pray, call. Continue praying without ceasing. Seek the peace of that place. Seek the peace with God. Seek peace with God. That's the peace we need to pursue more than anything else, isn't it? Peace with God. How can we have peace with God? Can we make peace with God? How can we have peace with God?

I would hope that I would ask every person in this room that question and you could give me an answer, a one word answer. Could you? Go ahead and say it. Christ. He made peace by the blood of his cross. You had nothing to do with it. You weren't even around when he did this. He said in John 14, peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, peace with God. The wrath of God fell on him, so it won't fall on his people. He didn't do that for everybody, but whoever he did it for, they have peace with God. God's not angry with them.

Peace, seek the peace, peace with God first and foremost. Seek peace and pray for peace in the church. The church, we need it, don't we? Mark those that cause strife and division among you, the scripture says, Romans 15, and have no fellowship with them. That's what it says. Warn the unruly. Mark those that cause strife and division, that separate themselves and don't worship with them, and have no fellowship with them, have no dealings with them. That's what the scripture said. Did you hear that?

But seek the peace. God's people are, blessed are the peacemakers. Seek the peace of God's house. Be a peacemaker. Here's what David said. Oh, I was glad when they said unto me, let's go to the house of the Lord. He said, I'm going to pray for the church. Peace be within thy walls, prosperity within thy palace. For my brethren, my companions' sake, I will now say, peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our God, I need, I need the gospel, I need the fellowship, I need the word, I need to hear it, I need to read it, I need to sing this song.

So I'm gonna seek, it's good. I'm going to be there, I'm going to support it, I'm going to pray for it until I die. That's what David said. And if you do that, you're going to be with that great congregation then. And nothing is going to disturb that peace then. Seek peace.

Pray for it. You cannot stay mad or be mad at your brother or sister if you're praying for them from the heart. You can't do it. You can't do it. Pray for them. Pray, pray, pray without ceasing, because your adversary doesn't cease to tempt you and use you if he will. And God will let him. Peace, peace with God, peace in the church house, peace in your family, peace in the nation.

I'm not speaking evil of our rulers, but, man, we've got a sorry bunch in office. And there could be a world war at any moment, couldn't there? No thanks to them. Right? Do you see that? We need to pray for them now. We need to pray, Lord, Lord, restrain our president. Restrain our Congress. Restrain them. We want peace, don't we? In the peace of our nation, we'll enjoy the freedom and peace of worshiping here without fear. I tell you, we're in the last days. Perilous times.

Read it, 2 Timothy 3. Read it for yourself. Pray. Pray without ceasing. Pray for peace. Peace, peace, peace, peace, peace, peace. David said that. He said, I'm for peace. And everybody else is for war. Peace, peace, peace. Now here's a warning. Verse eight and nine. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, God of Israel.

He said, let not your prophets and your diviners that be in the middle of you deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams that you've caused to be dreamed. They prophesy falsely unto you in my name. I have not sent them, saith the Lord. There were so many false prophets in Jeremiah's day. He speaks of false prophets more than any other prophet. All through, you've read it. Jeremiah 23, go back there. What are they saying? What do false prophets say? Here's what they say. Jeremiah 23. Here's what the Lord says about them. Verse 11, prophet and priest are profane. Yea, in my house I found their wickedness. So-called churches and religion today are worse than whorehouses. That's what the scriptures calls them. Doesn't it? Doesn't it? The great whore. Making merchandise of men's soul, all about flesh.

Look at verse, down in verse 16. Hearken not, verse 16, hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy on you, that make you vain. They speak a vision of their own heart and not out of the mouth of the Lord. They're not preaching God's word verse by verse by verse by verse. And the Bibles that they now have don't even resemble the real, the true Bible. Look at them. They take, don't trust me on that. Go get you some copies and compare.

They say, look at this, verse 17, they stay still, they continue to say unto them that despise me, that hate the God of the Bible, the Lord has said you'll have peace. God loves you, has a wonderful plan for your life. That's what they say. Read on. They say unto everyone that walks after the imagination of his own heart, no evil shall come upon you. God doesn't want that to happen, nothing to happen to you.

That's what false prophets say. And Jeremiah said, look at verse 19. This is not the only place he said it. He said it again. A whirlwind is gone forth in fury, a grievous whirlwind. It will fall grievously on the head of the wicked. The anger of the Lord shall not return. until He have executed it. The thoughts of His heart. In the latter days, you're going to see it.

You all reading that with me? You know how blessed we are to read this and hear this? These warnings? We're going to hear some blessed promises in a minute. But it ain't good news until you've heard the bad news. Promises of goodness and all that mean nothing Everything's just okay. There's no wrath, no judgment, no sin, no punishment, you know. And that's what false preachers are telling the world.

God loves you, Jesus died for you. Just live, just do whatever you want to until the time you die and make your little decision, you go to heaven and be with Jesus. You die like you live. No fear of God. What does God think of man? He's going to tell us his thoughts toward his people. What does God think of man? Let me just read you something, okay?

Psalm 5, verse 5 says this. It says, the foolish shall not stand in his sight. Thou hatest all workers of iniquities and people God hates. That's Psalm 5, 5. Psalm 7, 11, God judges the righteous. God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 711. Psalm 11, verse 7, the righteous, the Lord loveth righteousness. His counsel that behold the upright, but the wicked, he gonna rain snares and fire and brimstone, a terrible tempest. This is their portion from God. John 3, 36. People think they know John 3, 16.

John 3.18 says he that believeth not is condemned.

John 3.36 says the wrath of God abides on him. Now the love of God and the wrath of God cannot abide on the same person.

This is the God of the Bible, to be feared, to be reverenced, to be worshiped, to be bowed down to, to be called upon for mercy. and grace against guilty sinners. And that's all of us. And there's one way to have peace with this God. You don't have anything to do with it. It's to plead the blood of Jesus Christ. The burnt sacrifice. What Jesus Christ did, who Jesus Christ did. Plead one mediator between God and man. The man, not Mary. All who pray to Mary are lost and on their way to hell.

Is this too plain? Plainness now more than ever. There's never been a time in history we didn't need more plainness of speech. Is there, Stephen? Right now. Time is short. Pray. Don't listen to these false prophets. They're preaching what they think God is and not what the Word of God says He is. and what God says about man. All right, now, let me smile. Thus saith the Lord. Look at verse 10. He's talking to his people. He's not talking to the world. Are you with me? He is not talking to Babylon. He's not talking to Egypt. He's not talking to Moab. He's not talking to the Chaldeans, Sabians. He's not talking to them. He's talking to his people.

These are the promises of God. And he says, after 70 years be accomplished at Babylon, I will visit you and perform. I'm gonna do exactly what I told you I'd do. Perform it. Towards you. Not offer it to you. Perform it for you. You know what David said, John?

I'll pray unto him that performeth all things for me. Salvation is of the Lord. Creation is a great work of God, isn't it? But his finest performance was on Calvary's tree, where he put away all the sins of not the world, but his people by himself. Don't you wish you could be up here doing this? By himself. Why? To the praise of the glory of his sovereign mercy, grace, love, power, To God be the glory. Great things yet done. And everybody in heaven knows that. And all those on earth whom He did this for, they know it too. His people. He reveals this to them.

You had nothing to do with it. You didn't even want it. You weren't seeking it. But I came seeking you. And I found you. And I picked you up. And I carried you. And I went to the cross for you. I lived a perfect life for you. I laid down my life for you. What God demands, a soul that sinneth must surely die. I poured out my soul unto death. For you, I did this for you, and now God accepts you. For my sake, Christ said. For Christ's sake.

How blessed we are if we know that. If you know that, if you love that, if that's your plea, if that's your heart's faith, you're a child of God. You're an elect. You're a son of Jacob. You're Israel. They're not all Israel of Israel. I'm not talking about those Jews over there. They don't know Christ and they're all lost. But those who Salvations of the Jews, you heard that on Sunday. God's true Jews. He says, I know my thoughts towards you.

He said, after 70 years are accomplished at Babylon. 70 years, we're here in Babylon. We're here. It was John, in his epistle, was the third epistle to the church at Babylon. The church at Babylon. We're here, right in the middle of it, all right. And 1 Peter, quickly, 1 Peter 5, you'll love this, you will love this. 1 Peter 5, he said, after 70 years are accomplished in Babylon, how long do we live? About 70 years, no, maybe 80 if God is, it's His will. And we go through troubles and trials and tribulations. All God's people do, like Shadrach. Listen, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in Babylon. Daniel was in Babylon. Ezekiel was in Babylon. All those scriptures are about that. Jeremiah was in Babylon.

They put him in a pit in the mire. Don't you feel like you're in that sometime? Somebody brought him in. An Ethiopian. We all go through this. We're in it. God's people. We want out of it. We can't get out of it. He's got to bring us out. Look at verse 9, verse 8, verse 7. Cast all your care upon Him. He careth for you. Be sober. Be vigilant. It's not fun and games, not family fun, frivolity. It's life or death, isn't it? Us and our children.

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, he wants you to have fun and games. He doesn't want you to mourn over sin. He doesn't want you to seek the Lord. Walks about seeking whom he may devour, whom resists steadfast in the faith, that is, looking to Christ alone. Lord, I can't deal with him.

Please help me. Knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren in the world. Accomplished. Every single trial and trouble and tribulation is sent by God to His people that are in Babylon. Sent to accomplish something. What? When this is over, the trial of your faith, more precious than gold that perishes, gonna be found under praise, honor, and glory at the appearing of the Lord.

Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. In that fiery furnace. How'd they get through? There was a fourth man with them. And here was their faith. Here was their testimony to that king. Throw us in the furnace. Go ahead. And if we die in there, we'll be done with you. We'll go on to glory. And we're done with this place. No more captivity. But if we don't, the Lord will bring us through. You see that? Daniel in the lion's den. Those cats were like kitties walking up to Him. They named Him Ruth and Grace. Come here. We need not fear. We're no match for Him, but our Lord is. So we call upon Him. Go back to our text. He said, when 70 years are accomplished in Babylon, Jeremiah 29, verse 10, I will visit you and perform my good work toward you and causing you to return to this place. Isn't that wonderful? I will visit you.

Now, he promised that from Genesis 3.15, didn't he?

God promised that, who cannot lie to his people. like Adam and Eve who were naked and thought they were gonna, God was gonna die, they were gonna be punished forever and God showed them the lamb slain, Christ crucified, woman's seed, virgin born son, Genesis 3.15, from there all the way through Malachi talks about the Christ who's coming, all the Old Testament, somebody's coming, gonna visit this earth. Listen to this. He's going to visit this earth, and he did.

And here's what you call him. Not just Jesus. Here's his name. A virgin shall conceive and bear a son. You call his name Immanuel. God with us. Listen to Isaiah 9. He said the battle is confused. Everybody's confused. But unto us a child is born. A son is given. The government shall be upon his shoulder.

The reign, the rule, his name shall be called Wonderful. Counselor, don't seek counsel from anybody but him. The mighty God, Jesus, yes, he's God. The everlasting Father, let's keep listening. The Prince of Peace, the one who brings peace. of the increase of his government and peace, there'll be no end. Upon the throne of David, upon his kingdom, to order it, to establish it with judgment and justice from henceforth forevermore, the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

His finest performance. And when it's all over, we're all gonna give him a standing ovation. Unto him, unto him, unto him. Puny little man and these false preachers. Make your decision for Jesus. Go ahead and make your decision and you go to hell for it. Bow the knee, kiss the son lest he be, what? Angry. Angry and you perish from the way when his wrath is kindled but a little.

Serve the Lord with, what? Fear and with trembling. That's the God of the Bible. This is the Jesus Christ of scripture, not that other Jesus. And you're hearing him and you believe him. You see this book, this is just a few verses. This whole book is full of that. Promises and warning, warnings and promises for God's people. Read on verse 10.

I'm gonna cause you to return to this place. Some of us, like prodigal sons, well, all of us, Peter said, you're now returned to the shepherd and bishop of your soul. Because he said, return, because he turned us. If he doesn't turn us, we won't be turned. The preacher can't do it. The choir can't do it. The spirit of the Lord has to do it.

He's going to cause you to return unto the God that you run from. He's going to cause you to return. If you, like me, left the house of God, where the worship of God was, where the truth of God is, you couldn't get out of there fast enough. If you're like me, this prodigal, God in great mercy and grace, heavenly father, great love to these unlovely sons says return. And you'll come back with your tail between your legs, your head bowed, thinking, will he receive me? And bless God, he'll send the gospel. And you'll come running and fall on your neck and say, welcome home, son of a gun.

Give me a place in the barn. Oh, no. No, no, no. At the seat of the table, bring the best robe. Kill the fatted calf. Put the ring on his finger. My son is home. Why? Because the Father drew us. It's Him, it's Him, it's Him. You're getting a Sunday morning message, Wednesday night. We don't have many visitors here. Oh, we're here. Aren't you glad? This might be it. This might be the last one you ever hear. Preparing us for glory.

He says, I know the thoughts I think towards you. There was a time I didn't give God a thought. Why would he, what is man to do to me? Me? Can you say that? Why would God even think on me? I know the thoughts I think toward you. Listen to this. Man, it's too glorious to preach. Nobody can say it. But here's what the Lord says. He said, my thoughts are not your thoughts. My ways are not your way. We wouldn't do this to people that did this to us. We wouldn't think on it. We'd never give them another thought. We'd cast them out and never take them back in again.

But God says, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your way and my thoughts than your thoughts. He's talking about his mercy. He's talking about his grace. His mercy is infinite. It has to be. Our sins are against an infinite God. We keep sinning. He keeps showing mercy. They're new every morning. That'll make you laugh. If you need mercy, it will. I know my thoughts towards you, he said. Even when we're not thinking of him. Thoughts of peace, not evil. He's not out to get us. Like Manoah's wife. He's not going to kill us. Manoah's wife. He's not going to kill us if he was. He wouldn't have showed us his side. He wouldn't have told us his side. He wouldn't have accepted the sacrifice. No, Manoah, he's not going to kill us. He ought to, but he's not going to.

He doesn't show the people He loves these things, and show them their sin, and show them their need of Christ, and give them hope, expectation of a good end. He says, I know my thoughts toward you, thoughts of peace, not evil. There's no peace for the wicked, but it's peace for God's people. He didn't cry. He said, I'm going to give you an expected end. An expected end. It's not evil. No evil shall befall you, he said. None. I'll give you an expected end.

This is hope is what this is talking about. We hope. We hope of salvation. We hope to have eternal life. God who promised Eternal life in His Son cannot lie. He's given us His hope. Romans 8, we're saved by hope. We live by hope. Those He gives His hope to are called, they're calling, they're groaning, they're hoping, they're waiting, they're hoping.

Do you expect Christ to come to earth? Do you? Do you? He's going to. Do you hope He'll come for you? Do you? You reckon he will? Do you reckon? Here's an old country saying, I speck he will. That's our expectation. Lord, like Jacob said, don't bury me in Egypt. Remember that message? Don't leave me in Egypt. Take me with your people.

Speck he will. I speck he will. That's our expectation. If it's in the hope in Christ, if all your faith's in Christ, you can not only just expect it, you can be sure of it. Full assurance. In Christ. Yes, you can. That's Becky Will. That's our expectation. Then look at this. After the fact, you'll call on me. What does that remind you of? Ezekiel 36. Huh? Although you read Ezekiel 36 when you go home, God says, I will give you a clean heart.

I will do this. I'll wash. I will. I will. I will. I will. All of God will. He never asked anybody anything. I will. I will. I will. And Isaiah 14, he said, as I've thought, I'll do it. He stopped. I will. I will. And then he says, and you're going to call on me. You're going to ask me. That's repentance, that's faith. Without faith, cannot please God. And you'll call on me, you'll seek me. He said, I'll hearken unto you, I'll hear you. Will God hear sinners? All who call upon him in Christ in true faith from the heart, he will. You seek me, you'll find me when you search for me with all your heart, from the heart, with the heart, the issues of life. And I will be found of you. What will be found? He will be found. A person is what you need. You don't need religion. You don't need to change churches. You need Christ.

He says, I will be found. If you're seeking me, you'll find me. Some men came one time and the Lord came to them and said, whom seek ye? They said, Jesus of Nazareth. No, they said, master. He said, whom seek you? They said, master, where you live? He said, come on. Remember that? Come see. They came with him. He took him home. Same with you. If you're seeking him, John Sheasley, you're gonna be with him forever. And the only reason you seek him is because he sought you. You know it's so, don't you?

And I will be found of you I'll turn away your captivity I will gather you from all the nations That's now and that's then He gathers us out of this world, from all nations, kindred, tongue, people, to sing his praise. And in the end, when it's all over, he says, I'll bring you again to the place that Christ went to prepare for us. Remember that? John 14, I go to prepare a place for you. Didn't he say that? That where I am, you may be also. And he prayed in John 17, Father, I will that they be with me to behold my glory. Is that what you want?

Is that what you enjoy now? then he's coming for you. You can expect it. You can expect him to take you with him. He's never let one person down that, he's never disappointed or let one person down that trusted in him and him alone, never. Okay, stand with me.
