We love him, because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:19
When we love someone, we feel that our life would not be complete without them. We find our thoughts upon them often, and cherish the time we are permitted to be together. Without effort—that is by desire and with joy—we are committed to those we love, and are proud to be identified with them in time of persecution or peace. We are quick to defend those we love when they are attacked by the enemy. It gives us great joy and humbleness of heart to know that we have the God-given blessing to love them, and to be loved by them. Do we love Christ?
