How do we know God's justice is true?

Answered in 23 sources

God's justice is affirmed in Scripture, which declares that He establishes authorities to demonstrate His righteousness and ultimate sovereignty.

The truth of God's justice is emphasized throughout the Bible, where we see that all authority and governance are instituted by Him (Romans 13:1). This doctrine assures believers that despite the seeming chaos and injustice in the world, God is sovereignly orchestrating events according to His perfect will. The establishment of leaders and governments serves a divine purpose, as He will bring recompense against nations and individuals for their actions. This serves as both a comfort for believers, knowing God is in control, and a call to accountability for our actions in light of His justice.
