How do we know God's provision is true?

Answered in 18 sources

God's provision is confirmed through Scripture, specifically in His covenant with Abraham and the ultimate provision of Jesus Christ for salvation.

We can be assured of God's provision through both His historical acts and His promises in Scripture. In the case of Abraham, God's provision is illustrated by the ram provided to spare Isaac, which serves as a type of Christ, the ultimate provision for sin and death (Romans 5:6). Moreover, God's pattern of faithfully providing for His people is consistent throughout the Bible, culminating in the sacrificial death of Jesus, who bore the sins of His people and offered complete redemption (2 Corinthians 5:21). This consistency demonstrates that as God provided for Abraham, He continues to offer provision for all who trust in Him.
