How do we know God's wrath is just?

Answered in 10 sources

We know God's wrath is just because Scripture affirms that He is holy and cannot tolerate sin, and justice must be served.

God's wrath is not arbitrary but flows from His holy nature. As seen in Psalm 7:11, 'God is angry with the wicked every day.' His justice is integral to who He is, meaning every sin must be accounted for. During the Last Judgment, each individual will stand before God, and the evidence of their lives, as detailed in Scriptures, will demonstrate their guilt. The law will not object to their condemnation, and justice will affirm that 'the soul that sinneth, it shall die' (Ezekiel 18:4). Therefore, God's wrath is demonstrably just, as it aligns with His nature as a righteous and holy God.
