What does the Bible say about condemnation in Christ?

Answered in 10 sources

The Bible teaches that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Romans 8:1 clearly states, 'There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.' This profound truth provides comfort and assurance to believers that despite their sinfulness, they are declared not guilty before God because of Christ's sacrificial work. Christ's righteousness is imputed to those who believe, which means that believers are seen by God as righteous. This declaration is rooted in the work of Christ who bore the condemnation for sin on behalf of His people, satisfying God's justice so that they will never face condemnation themselves.
