What does the Bible say about God's omnipresence?

Answered in 3 sources

The Bible teaches that God is omnipresent, meaning He is present everywhere, yet His presence is personal and not confined to physical existence.

The Scriptures affirm God's omnipresence, emphasizing that He is always aware of everything happening in His creation (Psalm 139:7-10). Unlike the material world, God’s presence cannot be measured by physical dimensions or contained within a space. His awareness is not akin to an impersonal force, but rather a personal and relational presence that we can know and experience (Jeremiah 23:23-24). Thus, while we can flee from human judgment, we cannot escape God's watchful eye, which sees all - our thoughts, actions, and even our hidden sins.
