What does the Bible say about the concept of grace?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible describes grace as God's unmerited favor towards sinners, exemplified in Christ's redemptive work.

Grace is a central theme throughout Scripture, depicted as God's unconditional love and favor towards those who do not deserve it. Romans 8:3 teaches that what the law could not do, God accomplished by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us. As seen in Ruth's narrative, grace operates not through human merit but through God's sovereign decision to save and redeem sinners like us, exemplified in Christ's fulfillment of the law and His sacrificial death, making it possible for us to be reconciled with Him.
