And in redeeming that people back to themselves, bring them into a relationship, a covenantal relationship. See, in Adam, all died. In Adam, all of us are dead in trespasses and sin. In Adam, all of us were lost. If we are Christ's people, we were lost in Adam. But we belong to God before we belong to Adam. We belong to God in the times before time because thine they were, and then he gave them to Christ as he manifested himself in Christ Jesus to be the covenantal head of this people, to be the spiritual head of his people.
