This sermon expounds on Ezekiel 37 to illustrate the doctrine of spiritual regeneration, comparing dead sinners to dry bones in a valley. It emphasizes that humanity is spiritually dead and utterly incapable of saving itself, relying entirely on God's sovereign power to impart life through the Holy Spirit. The preacher connects this Old Testament vision to the New Testament teaching that Jesus Christ holds the authority to raise the dead and grant eternal life. By preaching the gospel, believers act as instruments used by God to proclaim the salvation for sinners found in Christ alone! God the Holy Spirit quickens those who are dead in trespasses and sins, demonstrating that salvation is a miraculous work of grace alone. The message concludes with an urgent call to trust in Christ as the only source of resurrection and hope for sinners.

Okay, the name of the message is from death to life From death to life ezekiel chapter 37 We're going to read verses 1 to 14 of ezekiel Chapter 37 the hand of the lord was upon me and carried me out in the spirit of the lord And set me down in the midst of the valley Which was full of bones?

You imagine the valley just totally full of bones Just full of bones. And caused me to pass by them round about, and behold, there were many in the open valley, and lo, they were dry. There you go, Brian. Brian just said, dry bones. Amen. Oh my. And he said unto me, son of man, can these bones live? So God's asking him. Asking, can these bones live? I like the answer. And I answered, oh Lord God, that's Jehovah Elohim. Thou knowest. Oh, what a statement. Thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, prophesize upon these bones and say unto them, oh ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. He's gonna preach to them, isn't he? You know that every week I preach to either dead dry bones or live in believers my again he said unto me prophesize upon these bones and say unto them oh you dry bones hear the word of the lord thus saith the lord god unto these bones behold i will cause breath to enter into you and ye shall live now these are dead dry bones and look what the lord said Behold, I will cause breath. Who's doing that? Who's the cause? It's God, isn't it? Salvation's of the Lord.

I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you and ye shall live and ye shall know that I am the Lord. My, that sounds like somebody coming back from the dead, doesn't it? Someone who's spiritually dead. Oh my. So I prophesied as I was commanded, and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a shaking. And bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them. No life.

Then said he unto me prophesy unto the wind prophesy son of man and say to the wind thus saith the Lord God Come from the four winds. Oh breath and breathe upon these slain that they may live So he's the God of all look at the one speaking here is God and he's the God of all all He's commanded the wind what to do So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath came unto them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet in exceeding great army.

Then said he, said the man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, our bones are dry, and our hope is lost. We were cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy unto them, thus saith the Lord God. Behold, all my people, Will open your graves and cause you to come up out of the graves and bring you into the land of Israel And you should know that I am the Lord When I have opened your graves all my people and bought you up out of your graves. Look at this What a picture of regeneration beloved And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land. Then shall ye know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it, saith the Lord."

So here's one of these old prophet stories that we tell our children, isn't it? Oh my. And these scriptures before us prophesies of the restoration and the resurrection. of the Jews out of Babylon. They were in captivity. And their return to the land of Israel in the days of Cyrus. But it also has a distant view. It refers to the resurrection of the dead in the last day, particularly to the resurrection of the bodies of God's saints unto everlasting life and joy. This vision also speaks a word of promise to God's church in every age. When the church of God, or any part of it, is bought low, which often happens in languishing, God promises to pour out His Spirit upon it.

To pour out His Spirit. I believe He's done that here. I really do. My He pours out his spirit upon the languishing ones. And the primary reference of this passage is the spiritual resurrection of God's elect. We were just like these dead, dry bones, beloved. And God said, live. And we lived. Oh, it's beautiful, beloved. Oh, it's beautiful.

Pictures of the new birth which is what we will be looking at tonight now when Ezekiel wrote this for the Jewish Hope for a future was was very low in verse 12 Think of how much joy this would have bought them when he said this Therefore prophesy and say unto them thus saith the Lord God behold my people my people I will open your graves and cause you to come out of your graves and bring you into the land of Israel Think of how much hope that would have bought the people of Israel.

But in addition to Israel being restored to her own land, Israel has to have new spiritual life. Go back to Ezekiel 36, one chapter back. Look at this in verse 24 to 27. Ezekiel 36, verse 24 to 27. And note, who's saying this? And note, it's all by his power. Because we are just like those dead, dry bones, beloved. Look at this. For I will take you out from among the heathen. Did he not do that with us? We who are his church, did he not take us out from among the heathen? And gather you out of all countries and will bring you in your own land. He's taking us home, isn't he? Oh my.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be clean. washed in the blood of Christ. From all your filthiness, look at that, and from all your idols will I cleanse you. A new heart, look at this, that's regeneration. A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you. I'll take away the stony heart of your flesh brother Chris. Why do we we were talking tonight? Why why do we now mourn over our sin when we didn't before? We got a new heart brother We're born again Yeah Put within you and I will take away the stony heart of your flesh and I will give you a heart of flesh And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes.

Look at that. What a gracious God He causes us to walk in his statutes and he shall keep my judgments and do them So we have before us here a vision of of the great resurrection. Turn if you would to John chapter 5 but keep your finger in Ezekiel 37 because we'll be going back there. But John chapter 5 and keep your finger in here because we're going to be going back and forth in John chapter 5.

We know we've been taught by God the Holy Spirit that the scriptures testify of Christ. And here is the Lord in this valley of dry bones. He's the one giving power. giving strength. He's commanded, he's commanded Ezekiel to pray to those dead, dry bones, right? He commands his preachers to go and pray, or go and preach, preach the gospel, preach Christ to a lost and dying world, right? And that's a picture of us in our natural state, just dead, dry bones. But look at this in John 5, 39 and 40. Search the scriptures.

For in them you think you have eternal life, and there they which testify of me. And you will not come to me that you might have life. Now, think of this. He's speaking to Jewish folks there. They read the scriptures. But what they're reading is they're reading things they gotta do. And they think they have eternal life, and Christ says, they speak of me. They're not telling you what you gotta do. They're speaking of me. Now there was rules and regulations in Israel that they had to follow, yes.

But the scriptures testify of Christ. Even the story of the dry bones, it's testifying of Christ. In us, in our natural state. And the scriptures before us, in this valley of dry bones, is a picture of the resurrection of the dead. Dead sinners to eternal life, all through the grace and power of God the Holy Spirit. through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ alone. Listen to this. I'm going to read you a scripture here in Colossians chapter two.

In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands and putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. Buried with him in baptism where and also you are risen with him through the faith of the operations of God. Operation of God. Who hath raised him from the dead and you being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh hath he quicken given us a new heart born again Together with him having forgiven you all trespasses. That's exactly what we just read about in Ezekiel chapter 36 Blotting out our sins My and all the elect God will be saved for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

All who are in Christ will be made alive. It's wonderful. Now let's go back to John chapter five. And we'll see here the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, God incarnated in the flesh. He has the power to make dead sinners alive. He has the power because he's God. Look at this in John chapter five, verses 19 to 23. And then after that, we'll read verses 24 to 29.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do, for what things soever he doeth, These also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth, and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. And do we not marvel, beloved, at the wondrous things that Christ has done for us, saving us from all our sins? For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickeneth them, look at that, Even so the Son quickeneth whom He will.

Who is He quicken? His elect. For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son. Now look at that. People say, well, I don't care about Jesus. They're going to face Him. He's either going to be your judge or your Savior. Mine.

That all men, look at this, that all men should honor the son even as they honor the father. He that honoreth not the son, honoreth not the father which has sent him. And then the next two verses we see speak of spiritual resurrection of God's elect and new birth. Look at this, which we're again, we'll be going back to Ezekiel chapter 37 and looking at. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, what did he tell, what did the Lord tell Ezekiel to do?

Preach. Who did he preach? The Messiah. The Messiah. Look at this. He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death to life. Oh, what a promise. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear, they that hear, shall live. That's the that's the preaching of the gospel beloved and the power of God the Holy Spirit The dead spiritually shall hear So here If you if you hear now If you know who Christ is give God all the glory and all the honor and all the praise. Oh, it's wonderful It's wonderful For as the father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the son to have life in himself, and hath given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the son of man. Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming in which all that are in the grave shall hear his voice, and shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. So right now, some hear the voice of Christ through the preaching of the gospel.

And some are just left where they are. But there will come a day when saved and lost, their bodies will be taken up from the grave and rise again. Now for us, when we die, to be absent from the bodies, to be present with the Lord, we're already going to be there with him. But then we'll get our glorified bodies.

I'm not even going to guess on what those things are going to be like. I know there's gonna be no more pain, no more sickness, no more sadness, no more sorrow, no more night, no more sin. That's glorious right there. We just stopped right there, didn't we? Oh my.

So the life giving, the giving of life and salvation to sinners who are dead spiritually is greater miracle than the restoration of Israel or the resurrection of dead bodies. This life, this spiritual life comes by the power of God, the Holy Spirit. He brings the dead spiritually. He makes them alive. We saw that in Ezekiel 36. He gives them life. And it's through the preaching of the gospel. And the preacher has no power. We just stand up. I'm just telling, I'm telling, I'm a sinner telling other sinners where to find bread, right?

And God, the Holy Spirit, takes the words and applies them to your heart, and oh, what a blessing we receive, eh? Each time the gospel is preached, my, and he gives us faith and repentance when we're dead and trespassed in sin's hands. Two great mysteries of God are, number one, the Son of God became the Son of Man, God incarnate in the flesh. Great mystery in number two elect sinners by his grace become the sons of God My oh my only in and through the Lord Jesus Christ in him alone Okay, let's go back to Ezekiel 37, let's take a look at these text here worried verses 1 & 2 now look at this the hand of the Lord was upon me and And this is the spiritual state of all men born into this world, dead, dry, lifeless bones. Look at this.

The hand of the Lord was upon me and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of a valley which was full of bones and caused me to pass by them round about. And behold, there were many in the open valley and lo, they were very dry. They'd sat in the sun. They were scorched, dead, dry, lifeless bones. And here before us in our text is the truth about man, man's nature at birth. What a clear picture. Dead. This is a good place to take people to show them man's depravity. Right here. Our natural state due to Adam's transgression. And evidently, There'd been a battle fought in this valley years before.

And many were killed. Many were killed. Their bones still laid there being scorched in the sun. It often happened in big battles. They would just sit there scorching in the sun. They didn't have enough people to bury the bodies. Just leave them there. That's why sometimes they find fragments of like Roman soldiers' swords and stuff and all that. But the body's gone. Even the skeleton's gone because it turns to dust. These bones have been scorched in the heat. And they lay scattered all about the ground. Probably wolves got a hold of them and started moving the bones around. They've been bleached white. You ever seen a bleached white bone.

From the sun. Or. When we lived in Oregon sometimes you'd see the tree branches. That came up from the ocean the driftwood. And they just be bleached from the sun. Just bleached white. I often think of that. And. They're so dry and so parched the dog won't even pick them up. All the marrow's gone in them. They're just dry, dead bones. The moisture in the marrow is gone.

And they sat for many, many years. What a picture here. There's no life. There's no life at all, is there? Just a bunch of dead bones. Devoid of life. They can't put themselves back together, can they? No, not at all. And people can't put them back together. Oh, what a picture. You know, we're just like these bones in our natural state. Lifeless. Lifeless. No heartbeat. Eyes they can't see. Eyes that can't see Christ, ears that can't hear the voice of the Son of God, a stony heart, dead to the things of Christ.

We need to be made alive, don't we? You must be born again. You must be. My So these bones, they're dead to the things of the world, right? And they're dead to the things of God. You ever think of this? Religion is trying to make a bunch of dead people do things. Trying to make a bunch of dead people follow the Lord. These bones couldn't do nothing, could they? Oh my, you must be born again. So people in religion call on dead men to do things to be saved.

But the truth is a dead sinner will not come to Christ, cannot come to Christ, will not obey him. does not care about the things of the Lord. They may be religious. I've seen a lot. Man, when I was religious, Chris and I would talk about when I was religious, I had all my checks, man. I had all these things I had to do. But I was the biggest Pharisee in the world.

No grace. No grace. And people in religion, And natural people are just like these dead bones. They're lifeless and they're helpless. And we were right there. Let us always remember that that which is impossible with man is possible with God. Because look at this. Look at verse 3. And he said unto me, son of man, can these bones live? What a question. Now that wasn't a question for information, was it? God already knows they can't. But he's asking Ezekiel this. Ezekiel's a man after God's heart too, right? He's just like David. He's a preacher of righteousness. And look, I love this. I absolutely love this answer. I love it.

And this this could be our answer when people say well, well, you know Are you guys concerned about things and all this and the lord are going to do what he wants to do? And I pray for people all the time I pray for their salvation, but if the lord wants to give him life he can give him life I had somebody today tell me, they're praying a certain way to God.

And they said to me, they said, well, we're praying this way because, how did he put it? We're praying this way. And he says, it kind of sounds like we're telling God what to do, doesn't it? And I said, yeah. And he goes, well, he wants us to do that sometimes, doesn't he? And I said, no. To think. that we're going to tell God what to do.

And I said, I always pray if it be your will, Lord. If it be your will. I just lift the person up, man. I'm in no position to say anything to God other than to beg for mercy. My. So we were just like these dead lifeless bones. And we talk to people that are like these dead lifeless bones. And the Lord's question here is very striking. And the answer is very striking, too. Can these bones live?

Now, if Ezekiel didn't know who God was, he probably said, well, I don't know. But he knows who God is. He's been taught by the Holy Spirit of God, hasn't he? who God is. And he answered Oh Lord God thou knowest. But again what a striking question. He's not asking us for information. But he's asking us for the prophets answer. And. And. God's servant answers. In a wonderful way. Humanly speaking. He knew the bones could not live, humanly speaking. But again, let us not forget that with God, all things are possible. The Lord said that, didn't he? Oh yeah. Can these bones live? Let us ask this question, beloved. Can dead sinners live under God? Can unjust men be made just with God? Can those who love darkness be made to love light? Can men who hate God be made to love Him? Can men who love wickedness be made to hunger for holiness?

Ah, what great instructions set here before us. Yes, they can, by the power of God, and God alone. what great truth is set before us. You know what this is teaching us? Just this one verse even. Salvation's of the Lord. So clearly. Lord, if thou will, thou can make me clean. Remember the leper? If you will, Lord. Oh my. He didn't say, you have to make me clean. No, he didn't say it. He said, Lord, if thou will. thou can make me clean. And the Lord said, be thou clean. And immediately, his leprosy was cleansed. Oh my. Can God give life to these bones? Lord, thou knowest. Thou knowest, Lord. It's too far beyond my comprehension, but you know. Just looks like a bunch of dead bones to me. Oh my. Only you know, Lord, if these bones can live. What an answer by Ezekiel. Oh, Lord God, thou knowest. Oh, Jehovah Elohim, thou knowest. Jehovah, the self-existent one, Elohim, the strong and mighty one. I love how he uses both titles. You know, Lord, only you can give life to spiritually dead men and women. You know, a dead sinner can no more give himself life than a dead person can raise themselves from the grave by their own power. Think on this, beloved God.

We lack the power to make ourselves alive. We lack the ability, and we even lack the will, because our will is tied to our nature, and when we're dead, it's tied to a dead nature. But what happens? We're made willing, because we've got a new nature. New nature, we're made alive to run to Christ, to flee to Christ.

God has the ability, the power, the will to save whom he wills. And he does still even today, doesn't he? Oh, sinner friend, cast yourself upon Christ. He's the only hope of sinners. And it gives us hope that the Lord saved us. It gives us hope for our family members and friends, doesn't it? If he saved me, John Newton said if you save me you can save anyone he wants.

Oh, it's so true Now in the next verse we see our ways are not God's ways Preaching to a bunch of dead bones To give them life would not even enter in to the mind of man God by the foolishness of preaching Man thinks preaching is foolishness. It's for we who are the believers, it's the power of God unto salvation.

And the Holy Spirit regenerates us through the preaching of his word. Look at verse four, Ezekiel 37. Again, he said to me, prophesy upon these bones and say to them, oh, you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. The Lord commands the prophet to prophesy or preach to the dry bones. My and God's servant obeys the command of his master.

Oh you dry bones hear the word of the Lord Is this not what gospel preachers are to do oh Yeah Every time we meet preaching We're some we're preaching to dry bones some who are sinners dead and sins and we're preaching to Saints who being made alive Whenever a preacher stands up and preaches Christ to dead sinners, he's holding forth the word of life.

For after that, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, and pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified. Unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness. but unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ, the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than man, and the weakness of God is stronger than man. So we hold forth Christ to a lost and dying world.

The word of God. We preach who Christ is. He's God. Incarnate in the flesh he came down from heaven to the sin-cursed world to save his people from all their sins And he accomplished it what he what he came down to do This is why Paul proclaimed We preach Christ in him crucified he understood that life comes through the preaching of the gospel The preaching of Christ He was determined to know nothing else among them, wasn't he? Save Jesus Christ and him crucified. Because the gospel preaches the power of God unto salvation. And it speaks of Christ. The modern religion has gotten away from the preaching of Christ, beloved. What you guys hear every week is what Paul the Apostle used to preach. In John. In Spurgeon.

And all these different, and what are we to, we're to trust in the promises of God, aren't we? We're to rest in Christ, who is the yea and amen. All the promises in him are yea and amen. So grab ahold of those promises. Pray them back to God. Hold tight on them. Because they testify of Christ.

It's wonderful. Let's look at verses five and six of this Ezekiel 37. Thus saith the Lord God unto these dry bones, behold, I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live. Look at that. What a statement. And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin and put breath in you and you shall live. Look at the shells there. And you shall live. And you shall know that I am the Lord. Well, we're made alive now, aren't we, Brother Brian? And we know who God is now.

My, it's wonderful. God's done all this. Notice it doesn't say, notice it doesn't say, I've done all that I can do. Now the rest is up to you. That's the total opposite of that. Preachers stand up in these pulpits all across the world and they say, God's done everything he can do. Now the rest is up to you. Do you see how anti-biblical that is? God says this.

Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live. Otherwise, we're just a bunch of dry, dead bones. Why? Because we're totally depraved. And look at this. And I will lay sinews upon you, and bring up flesh upon you, and cover your skin, and put breath in you. And look at this. And ye shall live. almost named this message, live. And ye shall know that I am the Lord. We didn't know that before, beloved. Now we know who he is by revelation.

So it doesn't say, it doesn't say, My doesn't say God's done all we can do now is the rest of you says behold I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live and I will a say news upon you it will bring up flesh upon you and cover it with skin and I put breath in you and you shall live and you shall know that I am the Lord that's a God of power beloved that's our God right there that's our God and God says I'll do these things Those bones couldn't do nothing could they? They're dead and they're lifeless and so preachers are are told to preach to dead sinners And God will make them alive proclaiming proclaiming what God's already done The works finished So we see what we have here, too, is a vivid picture of God's sovereignty, beloved, and salvation, and sovereignty over all things. You know, we also see, we see the absolute sovereignty of God and salvation, and we see the absolute inability of man to save himself, because we're dead, lifeless. This is why, again, life for a dead sinner only comes by the power of God the Holy Spirit you must be born again so what pictures we see here in our next verses look at this next verses the dead are given life this picture is the dead spiritually being given life by the Holy Spirit regenerating them and making them alive in Christ and giving them faith and repentance and let me stress again this is a work of God in God alone beloved look at verse seven and eight So I prophesied as I was commanded.

And as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a shaking. And the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and like skin covered them above, but there was no breath in them. So we see the effects of the prophet's preaching. Though there was a noise and shaking, The bones came together in sinews and flesh, yet there's no breath in them.

What can we learn here? Well, we can learn that after all man's preaching, unless God the Holy Ghost by his power gives life, there'd be no life. There'd be no life. If all men do is listen to my preaching and the Holy Spirit doesn't take it and apply it and regenerate you or bless you with it, It'll just be words. Even though I'm preaching the truth.

God must work a work of grace. A work of salvation. Saving grace. Salvations by his mighty power. All by his almighty power. Sinners may shake under the word. Human strength may come. Like the sinews in the flesh, they may stir a bit, but the quickening power in the new birth of the soul, this is all the work of God. You must be born again. Again, this shows us that salvation is by grace alone, through Christ alone, by God's almighty plan and purpose alone.

Look at verse 9. Then said He unto me, Prophesy! unto the wind prophesy the son of man and say to the wind thus say the lord god come from the four winds oh breath and breathe upon these slain that they may live the four winds all the corners of the earth so i prophesized as he commanded and the breath came into them and they lived you must be born again look at that and stood up on their feet in the exceedingly great army.

All the elect of all the ages are a number that no man can number." What a picture, beloved. What a picture. There is no life-giving power in the gospel itself apart from God the Holy Spirit. And we see that right here. The breath must first blow upon these bones and they shall live. What a picture of the Holy Spirit of God. Notice what we're seeing here. Salvation is entirely dependent upon God. 100%. Preacher, just a mouthpiece. It's 100% by the power of God. And it's wondrous, isn't it? It's simply wondrous.

It was because of the word of our Lord that these bones knit themselves bones to bones and covered themselves with flesh. And it was because of the word of the Lord that life came into the motionless bodies and transformed the valley of dry, dead bones into a valley from the valley of the dead to the valley of the living. And this, beloved, is the power of God on display in the salvation of sinners right here before us.

The Holy Spirit moves and gives life. How? Through the preaching of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Look at verse 10. Breath came into them and they lived and stood up upon their feet an exceedingly great army. Oh my. This picture's regeneration.

Why our Lord said you must be born again. You have to be When when Zane was telling us that word must its necessity in the Greek It's a necessity you have to be born again and it all comes from the power of God the Holy Spirit Hmm and we who believe we're dead spirits at one time, but we're given life by God the Holy Spirit We were converted. We were quickened. We were born again.

Because we were redeemed 2,000 years ago by the blood of Christ, Jesus our King, God incarnated in the flesh. And this is a miracle, that the dead can come back to life. That's a miracle of God. Remember, we fell in Adam, right? Dead spiritually. But in Christ, brother, we're made alive. Oh, my. And as a result of God giving us life, we shall know him and shall live. And one day, One day we shall know him, and we shall see him who gave us life, who shed his blood for us, and we will be in his presence forever.

Let's read Ezekiel chapter 37 verse 11 to 14 now. Then said he, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, our bones are dried up and our hope is lost. We are cut off from our parts. Therefore prophesies unto them. Thus saith the Lord God.

Behold, O my people, I will open your graves and cause you to come out of your graves. Oh, you must be born again and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know, I like this, you shall know that I am the Lord. Oh, we know a little bit now, don't we? That we didn't know before. When I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put, I love this, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live. Oh, my. And I shall place you in your own land, Then shall you know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it."

Look at that. He's spoken it and he performed it. That takes you and I out of the picture, doesn't it, Chris? We're being acted upon. I love it. That's mercy. That's mercy. Let's close with these words of our master, the Lord Jesus Christ, in John chapter 11, verse 25 and 26. Jesus saying to her, I am the resurrection and the life. I am. Christ said this.

He that believeth in me Though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? That's a question for everyone who hears this message. Believest thou this? Believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, the only salvation for sinners. Cast yourself upon him. He's the only hope for sinners. Glory to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen. Brother Chris, can you close us in prayer?
