This sermon expounds on the theological truth that Jesus Christ is everything to the believer, serving as the sole source of life, salvation, and identity. It emphasizes that through His sacrificial death and shed blood, Christ satisfies divine justice and removes all sin, rendering earthly distinctions irrelevant in light of His supremacy. The preacher highlights various biblical titles and roles of Christ, such as Shepherd, Priest, King, and Foundation, to illustrate His comprehensive provision for the spiritual needs of the redeemed. This profound understanding of Christ's worthiness compels believers to mortify sin, reject worldly desires, and offer constant praise and adoration. Ultimately, the message urges listeners to rest entirely in Christ's finished work, finding their security, hope, and eternal portion solely in Him.

I hope this message will be as comforting to you as it was for me to put together. I was just sitting there, and I have a message name for this message, and I was sitting there thinking, why do believers Praise Jesus. Open your Bibles, if you would, to Colossians chapter 3. I'm going to tell you why I praise Jesus and see if it's your own reasons as well, because for me, As for all believers, Christ is our all in all.

He's our life, isn't He? He's everything. That's why we like to hear preaching, as Paul says, preaching Christ and Him crucified. I don't want to hear anything else, do you? Isn't it wonderful? Let's stand up together. We're going to read verses 1 to 11 of Colossians chapter 1 together.

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek these things, those things which are above, where Christ sitteth at the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. For which things the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience, in which ye also walked some time when ye lived in them. But now ye also put off all these anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free, but Christ is all in all. Now we see some things in how we are to treat one another.

We are to mortify our members. Right? Which are upon your fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil, and covetousness, which is idolatry. And we don't desire those anymore, do we? We're still sinners, but we don't desire those things anymore.

We battle with these things. And then it says, lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man, put off anger, It's not hard for me to get angry. Is it hard for you? That's why we gotta look to Christ. Because we can't fix these things. But we're to put them off. It's not to be part of our regular life. Anger. wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his deeds. So this shows us that we're still sinners. Doesn't it? Paul's bringing forth that we're still sinners. And we're to put these things off.

How many times do we get angry with people for just getting angry with them? I don't golf, but I heard on the golf course, that comes out. I played hockey, so I know what it's like. Driving down the road, it comes out, doesn't it? Spouse gets you upset, it comes out, doesn't it?

Let us look to Christ, beloved. Because look what he says in verse 12. Here's the answer. Here's the answer to it all. Or verse 11, let's read 10 and 11. And they'll put on the new man, we're born again now, which is renewed in the knowledge after the image of him that created him. So now we know what sin is. We know these things are sin now. So we fight against them in our lives.

But look at this, here's the answer. Here's the answer. living our lives with this fact in mind. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free, but Christ is all in all. That's where we live, right there.

We live in the fact that Christ is our all in all. that we are in Christ by the grace and mercy of God, and that his precious blood was shed to forgive all our sins. Now, Paul tells us, battle against the flesh, right? And you know what that is? That's the spirit inside battling against the flesh. I'll tell you what. If we look to Christ, we won't be as angry We won't be as wrathful. We won't blaspheme. We don't desire to do that anymore. We won't desire to have filthy communication come out of our mouth.

We were all there at one time, weren't we? We deserve or we desire now to worship Christ because he's become our all and all. He's become everything to us. You take Christ away from me, I have nothing. I'm just dead in trespasses and sins if I'm not born again. But praise the God in Christ, I'm born again, forgiven of all my sins. I have faith to believe on Christ now. I was unwilling and made willing.

Isn't it glorious? And when the Holy Spirit reveals Christ to his people, we begin to glorify God in Christ, don't we? In Christ. What does he do? He lays us in the dust, beloved. Doesn't he? God goes up here and we go down here. And even John the Baptist said that. He said he must increase and I must decrease. My. If Christ is our all in all, then we're nothing. But praise God, we're His. We see ourselves as nothing. No way can we save ourselves. No way can we do good. Right? No way are we righteous without Christ. He's everything for us. Everything.

And when the Lord's bringing us to Christ, we see God's majestic sovereignty, don't we? Oh, yes, we do. We see His holiness, and we see our utter ruin before God. We see our helplessness before a holy and righteous and perfect God when He's bringing us to Himself. And we still feel that way, don't we? Our God is God, and as we study and grow in the grace and knowledge of our wonderful Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit reveals to us more and more about Christ, more and more about Christ.

Oh my, how? Well, through the reading of his word, through the preaching of the gospel, the believer in Christ desires above all things to exalt and glorify Christ and to hear him proclaimed. That's all I want to hear. Is it what you want to hear? That's why we gather here every Sunday, don't we? To hear the wondrous things about Christ.

And the believer in Christ loves and adores him. To we who are the born again blood washed saints, he's altogether lovely, isn't he? He's the fairest of 10,000 to my soul. He's my all in all. He's precious. Look at verse 11 again. It proclaims that Christ is all in all to the believer, to the born again blood washed believer. This simply means that he's everything to us. That's what that means. He's everything to us. Everything. Oh my, let's read verse 11 again. where there is, this is in Christ, where there is neither Greek nor Jew. So nationalities simply disappear. Simply disappear. My oh my. Ethnicities simply disappear in Christ. We're one in him. A barbarian and a Scythian. Barbarian was bad enough, a Scythian was the worst. The barbarians were terrified of the Scythians. They were the barbarians of the barbarians. The Lord saved some of them. The worst of the worst.

Paul said, I'm the least. I'm less than the least of all saints. That's how we feel, isn't it? We esteem others better than ourselves. In our great Lord Jesus Christ, let's read that verse again, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, that shows the Gentile and the Jew again. Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free, but Christ is all. Look at that. He's all, he's everything. And in all.

Our great Lord, Savior was God incarnate in the flesh is God incarnate in the flesh Sinless and perfect beloved The only one who could redeem sinners From all their sin Which is against God himself? So God himself Saved us from all our sins We who are the believers on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only one, he's the perfect man. He's the only one who could satisfy the justice of God. He's the only one who could fulfill the law of God in our room and place, and he did it.

The sinless one dies in the room of sinners at Calvary's Cross. And all the sins, now think of it, All my sins. If you're a believer, all your sins. All of our sins. Every one we will ever commit was laid upon Christ. And the wrath that was due us fell upon the crucified one. Fell upon the Lord Jesus Christ. What blessed words then, it is finished. Our salvation is complete, beloved, because the sinless one died for we who are sinners. Our sins were imputed to him, transferred to Christ, and he pays all that divine justice demands in our room and place, and he's absolutely sinless while he's dying. He was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. All our sins were placed upon Him. That's amazing. That's just amazing. And may we marvel at this precious truth of Christ Jesus our Lord, God incarnate in the flesh, dying for sinners, Paying what we owe. Paying what we owe.

And fully satisfying the justice of God for his people by the shedding of his precious, precious redeeming blood. Saved by the blood of Christ. Wondrous, isn't it? And all who come to Christ trust in his redeeming blood, don't we? Trust in the fact that he died for us at Calvary's Cross.

Let us ponder what mercy and grace and love Christ has for his people, that he would die to purchase us with his own precious blood. And the scripture says, the life of the flesh is in the blood. He gave his life for us, beloved. He died in our room and place.

What compassion, what love is manifested at the cross of Christ for sinners such as we. When Christ redeemed all his people, he proved his love toward us, didn't he? He proved His everlasting love for us. He proved it, beloved. And God the Father proved His love for us, His everlasting love for us, by sending Christ, His Son, to die in our room and place. God the Father did that. Mine. Turn, if you would, to Luke, chapter 22. Luke, chapter 22.

The Savior knew that the price of the pardon for his people was that his precious blood had to be shed. And you know, he never withdrew from that. He never withdrew from that mission. Do you know that he went willingly to the cross to die for his people?

Willingly. Marvel at that, beloved. Look at verses 41 to 44. And Christ was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast and kneeled down and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but thine will be done. That's the cup of God's wrath. for our sins.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him in being in agony. You ever been in agony? When you're going through something, sickness or heartache? Agony. He prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was, as it were, great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Now the names and titles of Christ endear him to his people. We see what he suffered for us. And he went to the cross willingly. But the names and titles of Christ for us can be a great comfort, a great comfort to the believer he's called Jesus, Jesus, because he came in this world on purpose to save sinners, Jesus. He came to raise his people to glory. and give them eternal life. Matthew 121 says this, and she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins. It's glorious.

It's already done, isn't it? He already did it, didn't he? Ma? We just found out about it when the Lord saved us. It's glorious. He's called Christ because he was anointed and appointed and commissioned to save his people from all their sins. In the everlasting covenant, he was promised to the saints of God in the Old Testament, and he appeared in the fullness of time. to make atonement for the guilty and redeem his people from their sins. He redeemed us out from under the law, didn't he? He cleansed us from all our sins by the shedding of his precious blood.

He's called Emmanuel. These are some names of my Savior. Is he yours? Oh, he's so wonderful. His name is called Emmanuel, which means God with us. Matthew 1.23, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son. And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted as God with us. God incarnate in the flesh.

If we look at his offices, oh my, it endures him to our hearts even more. He even more becomes our all in all. as he appears as a prophet to instruct the ignorant, to lead the blind, and to make the foolish wise unto salvation. He unfolds the Father's mind, opens the everlasting covenant, and teaches all his people to profit spiritually. He is our priest. Another wonderful name that endures Christ to us and makes him our all and all. He's our priest to atone for the guilty. That's us. To reconcile those who were enemies in our minds and now intercedes on our behalf. Mediating between God and us. His born-again blood-washed people. This is why Christ is my all in all.

Is he yours? Oh, my. He satisfies justice. He magnifies mercy. He brings a holy God and polluted, sin-sick sinners into an honorable union. He is a king. He's the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And as such, he receives the discontented. He rules over an innumerable amount of penitent criminal sinners who've been washed in his blood. And he defends all his subjects from danger.

He's proved that in our lives, hasn't he? The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. This is my all in all, the Lord Jesus Christ. Is he yours? His power is endless. He's the all-powerful one. His resources are boundless. You cannot exhaust the grace and mercy of God, beloved. His government is peaceful, and all the statutes of his kingdom are wise, merciful, and just.

We seek neither fame nor wealth. We're dependent upon our Savior, aren't we? For all things. We no longer desire the earth's deceitful names, health, wealth, prosperity. The world with all its pomp and all its glare cannot with a precious Christ compare. That doesn't even come close, does it?

If we look at the relationship of Christ to his people, he rises. The more we grow in grace, he rises in our estimation of him, doesn't he? He becomes greater and greater as we grow in the grace and knowledge and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. He's our father.

He's like the father who pitied the poor prodigal son and said, put on him the best robe, which pictures the righteousness of Christ. And we're like that prodigal returning to God, because he's drawing us and making us willing. giving us a right mind by being born again to trust in Christ.

Just like the gathering demoniac, remember? Where did they find him? In his right mind, clothed, that pictures us clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and sitting at the feet of Jesus. If you're sitting at the feet of Jesus, are you working to do something?

No, you're sitting and looking. rested oh lord help me be like that gathering demoniac and go and tell people the great things god done for me oh my he's our husband we're his bride we're to love him and cherish him and honor him in his blood-bought bride that's been but to love him. He treats us with kindness and mercy and grace.

And he will allow nothing to separate his bride from his love. He won't let her wander away. Which is what would happen to us if he just took his hand off us. He won't let that happen. Think all the stuff you went through in the last five years in your life. Has he let you go? He's still got his hand on you, doesn't he? Bringing you through it all. Isn't that wondrous?

And we still desire to come and hear the gospel. He's our elder brother, beloved. This is why Christ is our all in all. He's all these things to us. He's our elder brother who possesses our nature, bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh. God became a man. He feels deeply interested in the welfare of every brother and sister in Christ. Even the very hairs of our heads are numbered. He knows us so intimately. And He's made full provision.

Do you know that God in Christ has made full provision for every redeemed, blood-washed sinner? Isn't that wonderful? For life and godliness, for the salvation of our souls? Everything that God's demanded, that our God demanded, He provided in Christ. Isn't that wonderful? That's why Christ is my all and all, is he yours? This is wondrous that God would do this for sinners such as we. Yep. Because of his everlasting love and grace and mercy towards us.

He's made provision. He's given us promises, hasn't he? He said all the promises of God are yea and amen in Christ. He's given promises to his people. And we, who are the elect of God, shall ultimately enjoy the eternity, eternity with him, all because of his grace and his mercy.

Isn't that wonderful? What a great God. He identifies his interests with ours. He pleads the cause of his brethren who are in disgrace. He'll raise the low-fallen sinner and causes us to sing. Jesus, my shepherd, husband, friend, my prophet, priest, and king, my Lord, my life, my way, my end, accept the praise I bring. My. Is He not to you? Is He your all in all, beloved?

Praise God if He is. God's made it so. If we look at the comparisons which are made, use of by the Holy Spirit to set Christ forth, we behold something more of His loveliness. We see even more of Christ's loveliness before our eyes. His concern for his people is constant. He's constantly concerned for us, watching over us, taking care of us, even when we don't feel his presence. Mine. He never loses sight of one of his sheep. Never. He pledges his word that he will never leave us nor forsake us. He is the city of refuge for my soul.

With a broad and clear road, the gates of the city of refuge are wide open, aren't they? Come all ye that labor and are heavy laden. And Christ says, and I'll give you rest. And there's a hearty welcome awaiting every sinner, isn't there? Who flees to Christ. Who approaches to escape the threatened vengeance. of the avenger of blood.

He's our stronghold, beloved. He's the stronghold which emboldens and supplies and secures all the prisoners of hope, which scripture calls us. Prisoners of hope. We were prisoners to sin, and now we're prisoners of hope, beloved. And Christ is our strong tower, our fortified position, the captain of the Lord's host. He's a warrior, beloved. My.

He's our rock, which shades and shelters and refreshes the weary pilgrims going through this world. protecting us, giving us rest. He's the day star which beckons brighter scenes and guides the vessel of mercy across the waves of the deep of this life, the storms of this life. He's the captain guiding us home Homeward to heaven to be with him forever And he's the haven of perfect redemption and safety in him all believers are safe and secure By his perfect redemptive work on Calvary's cross shedding his blood to redeem our eternal soul He's the son of righteousness, beloved, whose rising cheer is the downcast pilgrim going through this world of woe. He makes glad the citizens of heaven. Oh, my. And makes us beautiful in his sight through his precious righteousness. This is why Christ is my all in all. Is he yours? Mine. He's the bread of life.

Man can live for a few weeks without bread and water. But that's, you can sustain life on bread and water. But you take that away. And men and women will soon die. But for us, he's the bread of life, isn't he? Oh my. He's the bread which come down from heaven, beloved. To save us from our sins. He satisfies the hungry, doesn't he? Scripture says we now hunger and thirst after righteousness.

That's after Christ. We've cast aside the things that people have told us that we had to do to be saved or just to live a Christian life. We've cast those things aside and we're wholly trusting on Christ and Him alone. I live because Christ lives. I have eternal life because Christ redeemed my soul. I feast on Christ through the preaching of his word. He came down from heaven, satisfied the hungry. He strengthens the weak, doesn't he? We come in here, we're weak and weary after a whole week out in the world, things going on in our lives, and does he not strengthen us, beloved? Does this not strengthen us, knowing these titles of him?

This is why Christ is our all in all. He gives life unto those whom the Father gave him in eternity. He's the bread of life. He's the giver of all life, isn't he? Saved and lost. But for we who are saved, we're born again. given the new heart that hungers and thirsts after he who is the bread of life, the Lord Jesus Christ. He's the water of salvation. Oh, he cleanses the filthy sinners, double-dye sinners, and makes us whiter than snow. through his precious blood. He refreshes the weary. He makes glad God's people.

He is the way alone to the Father. There's no other way to the Father. Except through the Lord Jesus Christ and his perfect sin atoning work This is why he's my all-in-all Is he yours If he's not I pray God I'll give you the grace and he will become your all-in-all He's the head of the body which thinks and plans for the welfare of the whole of his mystical body.

We're not in control, beloved. He's the head. We're simply the body. And the body comprises all believers of all ages from everywhere. It's called the mystical body of Christ. I used to go to a church where they thought only that church where was the body of Christ. That's a cultic. That's what's called a cult. The Catholics believe they're the only true body of Christ. Same thing. It's a cult.

We are a people, beloved. We're a local assembly here. But we have brothers and sisters all over the world. Isn't that wonderful? out of every tribe, kindred, tongue, and nation. And we're all gonna be gathered together in heaven, and you know what we're gonna do? To the praise of the glory of God's grace. That's what we're gonna be doing. Praise in our great God and King, isn't it wonderful? All redeemed by the same blood, the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And he's the door which admits us to the pastures of divine truth, right? He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. That's the green pastures of his word, beloved. Gives us an understanding, reveals himself to us now. He's the door to all truth. And he is truth incarnate. Truth incarnate. My.

He's the foundation. on which we all must build for eternity. He's the chief cornerstone. We're a building fitly framed on him. He is the chief cornerstone. He is the one who alone is able to support all our hopes of eternal life. All our hopes. I don't have any hope in anything I do. Not even preaching. All my hope is cast upon Christ. Spurgeon said this, sink or swim, I'll cling to Him. Sink or swim, I'll cling to Him. My, if we're clinging to somebody, we ain't doing anything but holding on, are we?

Oh my. amidst the wreck of this world and the crash of things that go on around us, he's our foundation. He's our foundation, beloved. He's a cornerstone which unites and beautifies and strengthens the whole building, the temple, fitly framed, Peter says. You know what the mortar that holds us together is? The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what unites us. And we become a temple. He's the temple, but we become a building fitly framed, don't we? He's the only place, remember there was the Holy of Holies, where God would accept the sacrifices? He's our Holy of Holies, beloved. He's where God accepts us. Right? His blood is on the Ark of the Covenant. His blood. Meet me between the cherubims where the blood of Christ is. He's our altar.

He sanctifies both the gift and the giver, doesn't he? He sanctifies us. And he's the vine, which communicates life and nourishment and fruitfulness to all its branches. And he says to us in John 15, speaking about him as the vine and we as the branches, he says, without me you can do nothing. Nothing. We can't serve him without him. We can't worship him without being in him. We can't praise God without being under his blood. We can't come in the presence of God without being clothed in his righteousness.

This is why Christ is my all in all. Isn't it wonderful, beloved? Does it make your heart rejoice? Oh, my. It does for the believer, doesn't it? Oh, my. He is the Rose of Sharon. in the lily of the valley. He's fragrant to us. He's lovely to us. He's attractive to us. He's unequaled in beauty and grace and mercy, beloved. Unequaled.

He's the brazen serpent that Moses lifted up. which heals instantly and perfectly. And all who look to Him by faith are saved. Remember the Israelites were getting bitten by all those poisonous snakes? And God said to Moses, make a serpent of brass, put it on a pole, and raise it up. And all who look to that serpent shall be healed, shall be saved. That's Christ. You know who's lifted him up? God's lifted him up, hasn't he? God sent Christ to die on that cross, to redeem us from all our sins. Isn't it wonderful? How can Christ be anything to us but all in all? My. He's the forerunner who's gone into heaven before us. My. He's removed any obstacles. Marking out the road. And he's ready to receive us when we finish our course at his appointed time. He's the friend who loves at all times. He's not fickle.

You ever had a friend who said, oh man, I love you so much, and then just walks away from you? Could be a friend, could be a mentor, could be somebody in your life that just disappears. Christ is a friend who loves at all time, whose mind never changes in his thoughts about us. We're his bride, purchased by his blood. He never gets angry with us. He'll never neglect us in our friendship towards him. He is our friend, no matter what we're going through, we may be distressed in this life, he's still our friend. We may have fallen into sin, he's still our friend.

My, he's the greatest, the best, and the most glorious gift of God. There's none like him. He secures our salvation, and He takes home everyone who sincerely casts themselves upon Him. He saves us from our sins. He's our kinsman redeemer, beloved, who redeems the forfeited inheritance, who ransoms all the poor relatives Those who were given to him by the Father from the slavery of sin. In whose names he holds precious. And to them his name is renowned.

He's the Lamb of God which took away all our sins. He's the one who atoned for all my sins. paid everything God demanded, and forever put away all the sins of His people. Is it any wonder then that Christ is all in all to us? The fact that He put away all our sins.

You think of the worst sin you ever committed, or may ever commit. And it may be in our hearts, no one else has heard it. It may be indeed, it's all under the blood, washed, cleansed. He's the messenger of the covenant who brings good news from God. salvation of sinners through the blood of Christ. He carries all our requests to God, beloved, and ever stands as our mediator between us and God.

He's the pearl of great price. When you found Him, nothing compares to Him. He's priceless. He's priceless. Oh, my. And in him are found all spiritual blessings in Christ. No wonder he's so precious to us. He's our physician who heals all disorders. He restores every patient to perfect health, and that does not mean physical health. That's spiritual health. He's mine.

He's the ransom of our souls. He purchased our release from the bondage of sin, the prison house of sin. And He insures our freedom, beloved. He insures our liberty from sin. Because He's God. Because He purchased us And it's because of him that we have liberty from sin.

We still struggle against it, don't we? But we're not under the curse of the law anymore. The punishment for our sins is being paid for. The penalty is being paid for. And one day, the presence will be taken away, too, when we go home to be with the Lord. All in Christ. Amen. He preserves us from going down into the pit, beloved.

He's our righteousness. It's He who justifies us from all sin and all the charges of our sin. He entitles us to eternal life. and enables us to lift up our heads and with boldness praise God in his presence. He's the truth which enlightens the mind, purifies the heart, and regulates the life. He regulates our lives.

It's amazing. He is the fire which purges all our dross. He's refining us. He's turning us into the image of Christ. My. He brightens our graces and cleanses our conscience from works which deserve death. Isn't that wonderful? This is why Christ is our all in all. He's the shepherd who knows every single one of his sheep. He watches over the whole flock. He never loses one lamb.

Not by disease or accident or beasts of prey. You know, there's wolves out there, isn't there? Spiritual wolves all around us. Scripture says the devil goes about like a lion seeking to devour our souls. But the shepherd protects us, doesn't he? He's the bishop of our souls who dwells among his people. He's here in our midst where two or three are gathered together in my name. There am I in the midst of them. He watches over our welfare and imparts his blessings freely every single day. He's the captain of our salvation. who collects his soldiers. That's all his left. Collects his soldiers. Disciplines his troops and leads them forth to certain victory. Certain victory. Over what? Over sin. Over the world. Over the devil. Because he is the captain of the Lord's house. He appeared to Joshua, who was a man of war, as the man of war. Joshua chapter 5, the captain of the Lord's host. My, that's our God. That's our King, beloved.

And he's the ladder by which we were raised from this earth. and we will lose sight of carnal things and ascend into the presence of God when we die. He's the surety who engaged for us in the everlasting covenant, who is held responsible for our salvation. Do you know he's responsible for the salvation of our souls? For all those who the Father gave him, he's responsible for our salvation. Ever stop and think about that? That means we're not responsible for it. We run to Christ because he makes us willing, don't we? And he makes us willing because he's responsible for our salvation. He purchased us 2,000 years ago.

And all who he died for will be saved. Absolutely every single one of them. And he's pledged to set us before his father's throne forever, spotless and without blame. He's a wall of fire which surrounds, enlightens, and infallibly protects all of his redeemed people by his almighty power. He's the chief among 10,000 and the altogether lovely one.

Precious Jesus, allow me to know you more fully. to trust you more heartily, to serve you more diligently, to enjoy you more frequently, to exalt you more highly, and to show forth your salvation from day to day. Your love is my heaven. Your presence is my delight. Your service is the joy of my heart. Let me daily walk with you, work for you, and bring glory to you." He's our all in all, isn't he? He's everything.

Oh, send your spirit to my poor heart to exalt you, to honor you, to endear you to my soul. Use me to bring lost sinners to you by the preaching of your gospel. My, we who believe on you, love you, and you give grace to the backslider. May you give strength and grace to we who believe. Set us on the path of thy obedience. Be my strength in life, my solace in death, and my eternal portion beyond the grave.

Is it any wonder then that Paul wrote this in Colossians 3.11, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, Circumcision nor uncircumcision. Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all in all. My, Christ is all in all. Amen and amen. What a wondrous savior is Jesus Christ our Lord. Brother Chris, can you close us in prayer?
