Well, good evening. This is a
homecoming for me. Coming back home. You know, I've
been in Kentucky now for 40 years. 40 years. Moved here in 1975. It's good to be back in Ashland,
Kentucky. Special place for me. Special
city. A place where my wife was born
back many years ago, Ashland, Kentucky. A place where my two
sons were born in this city, Ashland, Kentucky. A place where
Bridget and I were married 43 years ago. Special city to me. Special place for us. A place
where at the time I didn't know why I moved here. I know now. This is the city where I first
heard the gospel. The gospel of God concerning
the Lord Jesus Christ. It's a place in this city where
the Lord was pleased to reveal the gospel unto my heart. In this city. It's a place where
the Lord put me under a faithful gospel preacher. in this city,
one Henry T. Mahan. Privileged to sit under
that faithful pastor for 12 years and soak up the gospel. What
a blessing. What a blessing. 1994, from this place in Ashland, Kentucky,
the Lord called me to the ministry where we've been. They're impactful
now for almost 22 years. Well, it's good to be back. in
this special city. You folks hold a special place
in my heart. Many of you I've known for a
long time, 35 years or so. And it's always a delight to
be back with you. Now I want you to turn back in
your Bible to Philippians chapter 4. Philippians chapter 4. I want you to specifically look
just at one verse, verse 19. Verse 19 is so full and so rich. The apostle declares, but God,
who is my God, my God shall supply all, not some, not partial, all
your need. Notice it doesn't say needs,
need. And he does so according to his
riches, the riches of his grace, the riches of his glory. But
my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches
in glory by, not your works, not your merit, not your righteousness,
always by the Lord Jesus Christ. We're blessed in him, aren't
we? He's blessed us with all spiritual blessings and heavenlies
in the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, I'm entitling the message
from the words found there in verse 19. God shall supply. God shall supply. In the word there, supply means
fill to the full. My God shall satisfy, meet all
your need, whatever it may be. This is the same message that
the Lord delivered unto Abraham upon Mount Moriah. Remember? The Lord will provide, my God
shall supply all your needs. The same message that David rejoiced
in when he meditated upon the great shepherd of the sheep,
the Lord Jesus Christ. You remember Psalm 23? The Lord
is my shepherd, I shall not want. not want for any good thing,
because the Lord, the Lord is my shepherd. God will provide. He will, as Brother Mike sang
a moment ago. He will. He will take care of
you. The great and blessed truth that
Paul rejoiced in as he sits, remember, when he's writing these
words, where he is. What's happened to him? He's
in prison. He's sitting on death row. He's
waiting to be executed. And yet, He always finds great
reason to rejoice in the Lord. Now, you who are students of
the word, Philippians, through the book of Philippians, we see
this word repeated often, don't we? Rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice in the Lord. It's repeated
a number of times, but look at verse 4, Philippians 4, verse
4. Rejoice in the Lord always. Always in the morning, afternoon,
evening, when you're well, when you're sick, when you're up,
when you're down, when you're happy, when you're sad, rejoice
in the Lord always in case you missed it. And again, I say,
what? Paul, you're in prison. You're
getting ready to be executed. Oh, He always found great reason
to rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ. Can't you say that in
your heart? You remember back in chapter 3? I guess one of
my favorite chapters. Philippians chapter 3 verse 3.
For we are the true Israel which worship God in the Spirit and
rejoice in Christ Jesus and we have no confidence in the flesh. Rejoice in the Lord always. always. Paul was especially dear
to these believers at Philippi. As he closes this epistle in
chapter four, verse one, he says, my brethren, dearly beloved. He had a special relationship
with these folks. They learned the gospel and heard
the gospel from this man. Therefore, my brethren, dearly
beloved and long for. My joy, my crown, so stands fast
in the Lord, my dearly, he says again, dearly, dearly beloved. You see, they learned and received
and heard the gospel from the apostle Paul. Look at verse nine.
Those things which you have both learned and received and heard
and seen in me do. And the God of peace, shall be
with you, and the peace of God, it says in verse seven, and the
peace of God shall be with you. While Paul was in prison there
in Rome, they sent this gift unto him by the hand of their
pastor, Epaphroditus. Did you notice there in verse
18? But I have all and abound, I
am full, having received Epaphroditus, the things which were sent from
you, it was an odor, of sweet smell, an odor of a sweet smell,
a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing unto God. It must have been a
sacrificial gift they sent to the apostle. They loved him and
appreciated him and likewise he loved and appreciated them.
It seems like These folks were sending Paul gifts before he
was imprisoned, if you look at verse 15. Now, you Philippians
know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, that's where Philippi was located, no church
communicated or gave or shared with me as concerning giving
and receiving, but only you. They supported mission, didn't
they? Paul was a great evangelist. For even in Thessalonica, you
sent once again unto my necessity. What a blessing to have those
who are interested in supporting those who are willing to go and
who were sent of God to preach the gospel. Those who have freely
received all things in Christ are willing to freely give to
others. Why do you do that? Because you
love one another and you love the gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. You know, love is a great motivator,
isn't it? Love's a great motivator. The
love of Christ constrains us. It's not fear of punishment.
It's not the whip of the law. We serve Him because we love
Him. We serve Him because we want to. And we give, thank God. We have the privilege of giving
and supporting those who go and preach the gospel. You see, it
is more blessed to give than to receive, isn't it? It's a
blessing to be able to give. Now Paul sends this letter back
to them to express his thanks and love for them. As it says
in chapter 1, verse 8, he says, for God is my record, how great
that long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And he
says, I thank God, I thank God for you, for your generous giving.
Paul sends this letter back to them to express his thanks and
love for them, to encourage them to stand fast in the gospel,
don't waver, don't move. Look at chapter 1 verse 27. Chapter
1 verse 27, only let your conversation, your conduct, be as it becometh
the gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you or else be
absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit
and one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel.
Stand fast. Don't compromise. Don't back
down. Don't get weary. Contend for
the faith once delivered unto the saints. And he writes back
to them to tell them to rejoice in the Lord, to stand fast in
the Lord, to thank them and to encourage them and to assure
them that God will supply all their need. as he writes in chapter
4, verse 19. But my God shall supply all your
need according to His riches in glory through the Lord Jesus
Christ. Now, from verse 19, I have four
points to this message. Here's the first one. Our great
need. Our great need. Do you have any
need? Oh, I do. I can say with David, I'm poor
and needy. I'm poor and needy. Our great
need. My God shall supply all your
need. You have any? I'm sure you do. We are by birth and by our sinful
nature, poor, naked, blind, wretched, miserable beggars, aren't we?
Well, we have great need, don't we? We're bankrupt sinners on
the dunghill of humanity. Ten times I've counted through
the Psalms where David says of himself, I am poor and needy,
yet the Lord thinks upon me. Think about that. He ever lives
to intercede for us. He knows our need. And he thinks
upon us. He's mindful of us. I'm poor
and needy, yet the Lord thinks upon me. I need not borrow from
the needs of others. I have plenty of my own. How
about you? We have plenty of temporal needs, don't we? Food,
shelter, clothing, medical things, physical needs, as many as the
hair of our head. I don't have much hair left.
It's thinning quickly, but I have great need of many temporal things. Even in these temporal physical
things, we are totally dependent upon the Lord to supply all our
needs, aren't we? Our Lord said this, He said,
for without me you can do nothing. You can't get out of bed in the
morning without the Lord. Well, I'm going to go work hard
tomorrow on the job. I hope you do. I hope the Lord enables you,
gives you a mind and strength and wisdom and breath in your
lungs. See, without Him, we can't do anything. Our Lord said this,
seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, everything
else be taken care of. Seek Him first, His righteousness. By His mercy and by His grace,
we may be able to earn and work to provide for our family. You
see, I love this verse two and verse 13 of chapter four. I can
do all things by myself. Well, I'm so self-sufficient.
I just don't, I've just, you know, I'm a self-made man. Really. I can do all things, and we put
the emphasis, I can do all things, through Christ which strengtheneth
me. He's our strength. He's our help
in time of need. He is everything. Christ is all
and in all. But all of our physical needs
pale in comparison to our one spiritual need. What is that? I need Him. I need Him. Don't you? No wonder the Apostle
said in chapter 3, one of my favorite verses, verses 7, 8,
and 9, he said, I count all things lost that I may win Christ and
be found in Him. I need Him. Not having my own
righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through
the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus Christ, the righteousness
which is of God by His doing, His faithfulness. You see, I'm
totally dependent upon Him in all things. We are totally helpless,
absolutely dependent and shut up to our great God to supply
our every spiritual need. And our need is great. Make no
mistake about that. What is it that we don't need?
That maybe is a better question. What is it that we don't need
in the realm of spiritual things? We need all things, all things. Let me just mention a few. We
need faith. You know, faith is called precious.
It's a precious thing. to believe God. We need faith
to believe the gospel. You see, I cannot produce faith. Faith is not something that flows
out of us naturally. Faith is a gift of God. Arthur
Pink called it something exotic, that's outside of you, that doesn't
bloom in your heart naturally. God had to plant that there.
You see, faith is called the gift of God. We need faith to
believe the gospel and I don't have it, can't produce it. I'm
dependent upon him to meet that need. See what I'm saying? Faith
is a gift of God, isn't it? Without faith, it is impossible
to please God. But those that come to him must
believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently
seek him. We need faith to believe the
gospel. We need life from the dead. We need to be raised from
the dead. And certainly, I can't do that. No preacher can pronounce a dead
man and give a dead man life. That's what's going on in religion
today. They think they're giving people life. I can't resurrect
my spiritually dead body from the grave of sin, from the death
of sin. I need someone greater than myself
to come and do for me what I cannot do for myself. You have he quickened
who were dead in trespasses and in sin. Thank God he raises dead
sinners up to enable them to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ.
So we need faith, don't we? We need a resurrection from the
dead. And I certainly cannot give myself
life, spiritual life. We need forgiveness from all
sins, iniquities, and transgression. And I can't do one thing about
putting away one sin. You can't either. I have a great
need of forgiveness from all my sin, and yet I can't do one
thing about putting away one sin. You remember what Brother
Henry used to tell us? Sin's a hard thing to put away. The
blood that flowed on Jewish altars for thousands and thousands of
years never put away one sin. It's only the blood sacrifice
of the Lord Jesus Christ that puts away our sin. You say, I need pardon, I need
forgiveness, but I can't provide that for myself or my children
or for my loved ones. I have great need. Oh, the Lord
Jesus Christ supplies all my need. We need a justifying righteousness
before God, and I certainly can't produce that. All of our righteousnesses
are as well Filthy lives in God's sight. There's none righteous,
no, not one. That includes me, that includes
you. I need a justifying righteousness
before God and I cannot produce it. Thank God the Lord Jesus
Christ is called the Lord, our righteousness. You see, every
need I have, He's met, supplied abundantly through the Lord Jesus
Christ. Here's a second point. The poor
and needy sinner has a great shepherd, the great shepherd
of the sheep. We have a good shepherd who lays
down his life for the sheep, and we have the chief shepherd
who is coming in. We have a great helper, a great
provider, a great savior in the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul said,
my God. Who is this one he says is my
God? He's the one who is the true
and living God, not some dead idol, not some vain imagination. My God, Paul said, is the true
God. He's a God of scripture. He's
a God who inhabits eternity. He's the eternal God from everlasting
to everlasting. Thou art God, my God. The Lord
Jesus Christ is my God. You ever notice how Paul calls
him in Titus, especially brother John, God, our Savior, doesn't
he? Over and over. My God, the Lord
Jesus Christ, shall supply all your need. Need. Reminds me of this verse, if
you'll hold your place here and find Hebrews 4. Hebrews 4. Our need. Oh, he said, seeing that we have
a great high priest, Hebrews 4 verse 14, that is passed into
the heavens, the victorious Christ, Jesus, The Son of God, this is
my God now, He's exalted, He's victorious, He's seated, He's
conquering. Let us hold fast our profession,
for we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with
the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all point tempted
like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly
under the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, not earn
it, obtain mercy, find grace to help in time of Need. In your time of need, come to
Him. I've never read in scripture
where the Lord has turned away a mercy beggar. Blind Bartimaeus
begged for mercy, and the Lord showed mercy. My God shall supply all your
need. Who is our God? Who is our God? He is indeed
the God of Holy Scripture. I love the way he describes himself
in Isaiah. I am God, beside me there is
no other, the only just God and Savior. Remember one time those
heathens came to David and they said, David, remember of other
day, where is your God? We know where our God is. He's
where we left him. David said, Our God is in the
heavens, and He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased. He does according
to His will in the army of heaven and among the heavens of this
earth, and none can stay in His hand, and none can say unto Him,
Lord God Almighty, what doest thou? Our God, He is God. heaven
and earth, seas and all deep places. Whatsoever the Lord please,
that's what He does. And none can stay His hand, or
none can stop Him. None can frustrate His will.
You see, my God is a God of Scripture. holy, righteous, just, eternal,
unchanging. He said, I am God. I change not. Therefore, you sons of Jacob
are not consumed. You know, this God that Paul
says is my God is the God of the God of peace, the God of
peace. Look again at verse four, verse
nine, brother, chapter four. These things which you both learned
and received and heard and seen in me do and the God of Peace. My God, the true and living God,
the God of Scripture is a God of peace. God of peace. What kind of peace are we talking
about? It's peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Look at
Colossians chapter 1. For it pleased the Father that
in Him should all fullness dwell, having made peace. He's a God
of peace. It originates with Him. It's
accomplished by Him, through His blood, through the blood
of His crop, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself. By Him,
I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven,
and you that were sometimes alienated, enemies in your mind by wicked
works yet, now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through
death to present you holy, unblameable, unreprovable in His sight. He's
a God of peace. being justified by faith, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He's not only
the God of peace, the God of all scripture, but he's the God
of all creation, isn't he? Look at Colossians chapter one,
verse 16. For by Him were all things created that are in heaven,
that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones or dominions, principalities or powers. All things were created
by Him and for Him. He's before all things and by
Him all things are, by Him all things consist. What
does that mean? They're held together. They're
held together by His power. You see, He's the God of all
Scripture. He's the God of peace. He's the God of creation. He's
the God of all providence. Of Him and through Him and to
Him are all things to whom be glory both now and forever. Romans
11, 36. He's the God of all salvation,
isn't He? I mean, salvation's of the Lord.
We know that, don't we? Look at Philippians chapter 1.
He's the God of all salvation. Neither is there salvation in
any other. For there's no other name under
heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Philippians
1 verse 6, being confident of this very thing, that he who
hath begun a good work in you, salvations. God's work that's
psalm 111 you read you remember how many times it said his work
his work his work his work his work He said redemption. It's
his work. You see he's a redeemer who redeems
He's a Savior who say we're confident of this very thing that God who's
begun a good work in you He will finish it He will get it done. Matter of fact, it's already
done. He said it is finished. You see, he's a God of all salvation.
He's a God of all grace. Turn to 1 Peter chapter 5. He's a God of all grace. You
see, this is my God. Oh, I have great need. I have
a great supplier. 1 Peter chapter 5 verse 10. But
the God of all grace, who have called us into His eternal glory
by Jesus Christ, after that you've suffered for a while, make you
perfect, established, strengthened, settle you to Him, be glory and
dominion forever and ever. Amen. Is this your God? It's my God. I claim Him. I own
Him. He's mine. You see, He's the
God of all scripture, God of all creation, all providence,
God of all salvation, God of all grace. And you know what?
He's a God of all comfort, too. That's right. Find 2 Corinthians
1. He's a God of all comfort. You
need comfort? He's a God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1, verse
3. Blessed be the God, blessed be
God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and the God of all comfort. You need comfort? I do. who comforteth
us in all our tribulation, that ye may be able to comfort them
which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves
are comforted of God." You see, He's the God of all comfort.
He comforts us. And He's the God of all victory,
the God of all power. Look at 2 Corinthians 2 verse
14. See, we're more than conquerors through Him that loved us. 2
Corinthians 2, 14. He's the God of all victory and
the God of all power. Now, thanks being the God which
always causes us to triumph in Christ. You see, He causes us to triumph always
in Christ and make manifest the savor of his knowledge by us
in every place. When the Apostle Paul closes
that 15th chapter of 1 Corinthians, he said, thanks be to God who
has given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. He's a
God of all victory. You say you're not a loser by
trusting him, you're a winner. We're more than conquerors through
Him that loved us. Can you say with the Apostle
Paul, this is my God, this is my Savior, Sovereign, Holy, Eternal,
Almighty, who is able to do all that He promised. What persuasion
are you anyway? I'm persuaded, like Abraham of
old, that all that God has promised, He's able to do. That's my persuasion. I'm persuaded. He's able to save
to the uttermost all that come to God by Him, saying He ever
liveth to make intercession for us. Who is able to perform all
things for us. Turn over here to Psalm 57. Brother
Dale read Psalm 44. how the Lord has won the victory
for us. And then Psalm 111 talks about
all of the work that the Lord has done for us in redemption
and in salvation. But look at Psalm 57. Excuse
me, verse 2. I will cry unto God most high
and to God that performeth all things for me." All things. He performs all things for me. Who is able to perform all things
for us. Who is able to save to the uttermost
all that come to God by Him. He's able to present us. He's
able to keep us from falling. Remember? He's able to keep us
from falling and to present us faultless before the presence
of God's glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our
Savior be all the honor and glory both now and forever. Paul said,
I know whom I have believed. I'm persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day. What
have you committed unto him? Everything. Everything. You see,
oh, I have a great need. But I have a great supplier because
I have a great Savior. I have a great God. Thirdly is
this. The great resources. My God shall
supply all your need. My God shall supply all your
need. His great resources. Not some
of your need, but all of your need, freely, fully, eternally. in a grand and glorious way.
In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and in
Him you are complete. Of His fullness have we all received
grace, heaped upon grace." This word here, supply, means to fill
up, fill to the full. My God will fill to the full
all your needs. to His great resources. How generously and freely the
Lord gives to poor and needy sinners. I love that word freely,
don't you? Justified freely by His grace
through the redemption that is in the Lord Jesus Christ, Romans
3, 24. Romans 8, 32, God who spared
not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, how shall
He not with Him also? Freely give us, well, some things. No, all things, all things according
to His riches, according to His riches in glory. He does not,
according to our merit, but according to His mercy. He gives us richly
according to the richness of His grace. But God, who is rich
in mercy for His great love, wherewith He loved us even when
we were dead, it's Him, hath quickened us together with the
Lord Jesus Christ. You see, that word shall supply
all your need according to His riches. Oh, what great resources
we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. His storehouse of mercy can never
be exhausted. It's new every morning. Full
every morning. You see, it's of the Lord's mercies
that we're not consumed. And His mercy, the storehouse
of His mercy is never exhausted. Every time you need mercy, He
gives mercy. He gives mercy to mercy beggars.
Mercy beggars. Every time I think of that word,
mercy beggar, I think of a person. I have a person in mind. Dale,
you know who he is, don't you? Or Brother Roach. Remember he
used to pray? Mercy beggars. Mercy beggars. Mercy beggars. The Lord blesses
us, not according to our merit, but according to His mercy, according
to His riches in glory. His storehouse of mercy can never
be exhausted. His wellhead of grace never runs
dry. Of His fullness have we all received
grace for grace and grace heaped upon grace according to His riches. Now a couple of scriptures on
what you look at. Find 2 Timothy 1 according to his riches. 2
Timothy 1. Verse 8 and 9. Be not thou therefore
ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor me his prisoner, but
be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the
power of God, who had saved us and called us with a holy calling,
not according to our works, but according to his own purpose
and grace, given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
It's according to his purpose, according to his grace, not according
to our works. but according to His purpose,
according to His grace. And then turn to Titus chapter
3 verse 5. Not by works of righteousness
which we have done, but according. You see, according to His riches
in glory, according to His mercy, He saved us by the washing of
regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, which He
shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ, our Savior, that
being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according.
There's that according, according to the hope of eternal life in
the Lord Jesus Christ. Look back to the text. My God
shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ
Jesus. The riches of His grace are always
springing up into everlasting life. His love never fails, cannot
fail because He's rich in mercy. He's rich in love in whom we
have redemption through His blood according to the riches of His
grace. The riches of His grace keep flowing and flowing, world
without end, never ending according to the riches of His glory. Our God is glorified in giving
richly. Our Lord gives abundantly out
of the riches of His grace, His glory, but He also gives richly
to magnify His own grace and glory. Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive all honor, glory, blessings, and power,
both now and forever. forever. My God, yep, shall supply
all your need, yep, according to His riches, the riches of
His grace, the riches of His love, the riches of His glory.
Lastly, by your deeds, by the law, By what you do. Oh, no. Oh, no. You'd run me
off if I said that, wouldn't you? I hope you would. By Christ Jesus. Everything God has for any sinner
is in Christ Jesus. No wonder Paul said, I count
everything else, lost, dung, ruined, that I might win Christ
and be found in Him. The great channel in which the
Lord supplies our every need is by Christ Jesus. We're always blessed in Christ,
by Him, through Him, never apart from Him. There is no mercy and
no salvation for any sinner apart from The Lord Jesus Christ. There's no mercy apart from the
Lord Jesus Christ. There's no hope of salvation
apart from the Lord Jesus Christ. It's always found in Him. That's
why the Lord said, I am the way, the truth, the life. No man come
to the Father, but by and through me. You see the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is all and in all. He's blessed us with all spiritual
blessing in the heavenlies. You read Ephesians chapter one.
In Christ. In Christ. In Christ. He chose
us in Christ. He redeemed us in Christ. He
calls us in Christ. We are sealed in Christ. We are
kept in Christ. You see, there's no salvation
apart from the Lord Jesus Christ. How does the Lord give us all
things? How does He supply our every need? You know, it's really
simple. He gives us Himself. You have
Him, you have everything. He's everything. He's everything. You see, you remember 1 John
5? He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath
not life. Now, you remember what Brother
Scott Richardson said years ago? Never forgot it. Is the Lord
Jesus Christ enough? I mean, you gotta have more?
More than Him? Had a man tell me that one time. He attended
our ministry for a number of years and showed up at my study
one Friday morning and got right up in my face and he said, I
got to have more than Christ. I said, buddy, you better hit
the road because all I have is Christ. If you're looking for
something else, you don't want to come here because all I have
is Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ. He's everything in salvation.
Is he enough? If he's all you've got. You have
everything that God intended for you to have. But of him,
you remember that scripture, but of him, are you in Christ
Jesus, who of God has made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification,
and redemption. Look at this scripture here,
I'm almost done. 2 Corinthians, turn back over there, chapter
3 this time. I hope I've got the right verse here. No, it's
1 Corinthians chapter 3. See, when you get my age, you
forget a little bit. You just have to look over us
old timers. You know, when I first started coming to 13th Street,
I was 29 years old. I'm almost 64. 1 Corinthians
chapter 3, that's what I want. Did I tell you to turn there?
See, I can't remember. Therefore let no, verse 21, therefore
let no man glory in man for all things are yours. That pretty
well covered it, didn't it? Whether Paul or Apollos, Cephas
or world or life or death or things present or things to come,
all are yours and you are Christ and Christ is God's. That sums
it all up, doesn't it? My God shall supply all your
need according to His riches in glory. Now I bet you thought
I was going to forget this point. Who gets the glory in all this?
Look back to the text, Philippians chapter 4 verse 20. You see it
all gets to, here's the bottom line, in everything that God
does for the sinner, everything He does for His church, everything
resounds to the glory of God, doesn't it? That's why Paul said,
God forbid I see glory saved in the cross of Christ. Now,
verse 20, unto God our Father be glory forever and ever. Now what do you say? What does
that say right there? Amen. What do you say? Amen. My God shall supply all your
need according to His riches in glory by the Lord Jesus Christ. It says in Psalm 34, those who
seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. I'm going to
seek him. I'm going to seek mercy where
it's found. I mean, I'm not real, I'm not, I'm not a sharp, I'm
not a sharp guy, but the Lord has taught me that salvation's
in him. I want to skeed out of Christ.
As old brother Maurice used to say, and hug up to the Lord Jesus
Christ. Salvation's in him. God bless
you. Thank you. Appreciate it.
