Now we're turning in our Bible
to Luke chapter two, and let's look at one verse here in Luke
two, verse 49. Luke two, verse 49. The Lord Jesus Christ being just
in the flesh, 12 years old, when Joseph and Mary sought him out
three days and found him, he said, how is it that you sought
me? wished you not, or knew you not, that I must be about my
Father's business." My heavenly Father's business. Notice that's
capital I'm entitling the message from the words found there in
verse 49, what the Lord Jesus Christ must do for us. He must be about the Father's
business. He is a businessman. He's about
his Father's business and it's a very important business. The Lord Jesus Christ must come
and accomplish salvation for us. The principal part of this
business that he has with the Father, with God his Father,
was to work out salvation for his people, and in doing so,
bringing all honor and glory to God alone. He said, I must
be about my heavenly Father's business. And know this, this
business never failed. There's a lot of men who start
businesses and a lot of times those businesses fail, don't
they? His business of salvation never fails. Because it says
in Isaiah 42, He shall not fail. He is a successful businessman,
carrying out the business of salvation for His covenant people. He shall not fail. He accomplished
all the Father's business. in saving his people by several
things here. By fulfilling the law of God
for them. The law of God that we have sinned
against had a claim on us. And we can't just sweep our sin
under the rug, so to speak. The law of God must be honored,
both in precept and in penalty. The Lord Jesus Christ, accomplishing
the Father's business, honored the law of God for us. Think
about that. God is well pleased for His righteousness
sake, for He will magnify the law and honor it for us. Secondly,
the Lord Jesus Christ was always about the Father's business,
not only by fulfilling the law of God for us, but by making
reconciliation for us. Now what did our sin do toward
God? Remember what it said in Isaiah
59? Our sin has separated us from God. How can two who are
separated be reconciled? How can a holy God be reconciled
to an ungodly sinner? God was in Christ reconciling
us unto himself. He reconciled us. He took the
reason for separation out of the way. Therefore we have reconciliation. God was in Christ reconciling
us unto himself. You see, this is all the Lord
Jesus Christ doing the Father's business. The Father's will for
us. Thirdly, by completing atonement
for our sin. Sin must be paid for. This was
the Lord Jesus Christ's business. He was completing the Father's
will in making atonement for our sin here in His love, not
that we love God, but that He loved us and He sent His Son
on His business to put away our sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Aren't you glad the Lord came
to do the Father's business? That's a tremendous thing to
think about. And he said, well, I might do the Father's business.
Well, you know, I could do the Father's business. Or maybe I'll
do the Father's business. No, he said, I must. I must. It's an imperative. It's an absolute
necessity. I must do the Father's business. Not only fulfilling the law of
God for them, making reconciliation for their sin, making complete
atonement for their sin, but obtaining eternal redemption
for them. That is, He bought us and He
delivered us from our sin. Fifthly, doing the Father's business
by bringing in everlasting righteousness for them and freely imputing
that righteousness unto them. Blessed is the man to whom the
Lord imputes righteousness without work, saying, Blessed are they
whose iniquities are forgiven. Blessed is the man to whom the
Lord will not impute sin. That is the Lord Jesus Christ
doing the Father's business. Oh, that's just so encouraging. That just rejoices our heart,
knowing that our salvation is totally dependent upon the Lord
Jesus Christ doing the Father's will. Doesn't depend upon me. Depends upon Him, and He cannot
fail. He cannot fail. This was His
business. or his work, his job, which neither
angel nor man could accomplish. This was the special business
the father gave the son to accomplish, of which he is engaged from all
eternity. And it must be accomplished in
time. We read in Galatians chapter
4, in the fullness of the time, God sent forth his son. To do
what? To redeem His people from their
sin. To redeem them from the curse
of the law being made a curse for us. This is the Father's
business that the Son accomplished for us. Now the first recorded
words that our Lord Jesus Christ spoke as the God-man mediator,
I'm talking about in the flesh, when He was 12 years old, right
here in Luke 2.49, He said, I must be about my father's
business. Do you remember what the last
words he spoke from the cross? Turn over here to John 19 verse
30. John 19 verse 30. He said, I
must be about my father's business. And all of his life was about
doing the father's will, the father's business, the father's
work. Then finally upon the cross. He said in John 19 verse 30,
you got it there. What does it say? When Jesus
therefore had received the vinegar he said it's finished the business
of salvation given unto the Lord Jesus Christ as surety mediator
advocate and sacrifice he completed It's finished. It's done. Salvation is an accomplished
work. Salvation is of the Lord. It's of the Lord's doing, isn't
it? Now this morning, I want us to
look at several places where we see this word must, most of
them here in the book of Luke, and consider what the Lord must
do for us. Now, turn to Luke chapter 4,
here's the first one. Luke chapter 4, look at verse 43. And here we see this word must
again. Luke chapter 4, verse 43. And he said unto them, I must
preach. kingdom of God to other cities
also for therefore am I sent the Lord Jesus Christ was sent
to preach the gospel of the Lord of the Lord's kingdom of his
kingdom turn to Luke 9 verse 11 Luke 9, verse 11. And the people,
when they knew it, they followed him, and he received them, and
he spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and he healed them that
had need of healing. The gospel of the kingdom of
God meets the need of the guilty sinner before God. He spake unto
them of the kingdom of God, and he healed them. through the gospel
message. The Lord Jesus Christ was a preacher
of the gospel. Don't turn but let me just read
this to you over here in Matthew chapter 4 verse 23. The Lord Jesus Christ was a preacher
at the age of 30 years old he began his public ministry and
he went through all Galilee, it says in Matthew 4, 23, teaching
in the synagogue and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and
healing all manner of sicknesses, all manner of diseases among
the people. The Lord Jesus Christ was a prophet,
the prophet son of God, the prophet son of God to teach us the way
of salvation in Christ. The Lord gave that special promise
to Moses in Deuteronomy 18. The Lord will raise up a prophet
from among the brethren that shall speak all my truth, all
my will. The Lord said, I didn't come
speaking my own word, I speak the word of my father. You see,
I'm on his business, speaking his truth. message of salvation
Salvation is of the Lord sovereign mercy look back in Luke chapter
4 now verse 18 the Lord was the preacher of the gospel Look what
it says in Luke 4 18 He quotes from Isaiah 61 the Spirit of
the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor He was a preacher the prophet of God He has sent
me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
That's the year of jubilee, on that 50th year when all who were
in debt were set free. And he closed the book and gave
it to the minister and sat down, and the eyes of all them who
were in the synagogue were fastened on him, and he began to say,
this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears, And all bear him
witness, and wonder at the gracious word which proceeded out of his
mouth. They said, Is not this the son
of Joseph? The Lord Jesus Christ declared
the truth of the gospel of salvation by the grace of God. If you read
down through Luke chapter 4, The Lord Jesus Christ. Now you
think about it. Think about being in the congregation
or in the crowd where this one who was sent of God, this prophet
who spoke the absolute truth with absolute power and yet many
and most who heard the message that day in the synagogue here
in his hometown of Nazareth when he declared unto them that he
will have mercy on whom he will have mercy. What was a natural
man's response to the preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ? Did
they fall in love with Him? Look what it says in verse 28. And all they in the synagogue,
when they heard these things, Luke 4, 28, were filled with
love. I misread that, didn't I? You
see, even the preaching of the truth from the mouth of God Himself
to the natural man left to himself, the natural man will not receive
the things of God. They all in the synagogue, when
they heard these things of his message of sovereign mercy, sovereign
grace, they were filled with wrath. And they rose up and thrust
him out of the city, led him into the brow of the hill, whereon
the city was built, that they might cast him down headlong."
Cast him over the hill headfirst. Wow! This is the message of God's
prophet? God's King, and yet they would
not have him. He came unto his own, his own
received him not. But he passing through the midst
of them went his way, and came down to Capernaum, a city in
Galilee, and taught them on the Sabbath day. He was not discouraged. He went right on preaching the
gospel of the kingdom. And they were astonished at his
word, for his word was with power. Oh, what a preacher, a preacher
of the gospel. God hath in these last days spoken
unto us by his Son. We must hear God has ordained
the preaching of the gospel. We must hear the preaching of
the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. You see, faith comes
by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. God does not use
the lies of men, the tricks of men, to teach the truth. You see, no lie is of the truth. God uses the truth to set us
free. We must hear the truth, and it's
the truth that sets us free. The Lord Jesus Christ was about
his father's business, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of
God. He said, I must preach the kingdom
of God. set God forth as the king, as
the sovereign, as the absolute God, that we'll have mercy on
whom he will have mercy. And it does not matter what men
think, we must preach the gospel. We too must be about our Father's
business, preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's
what we do every time we meet together. We take the word and
teach the word of God. You see, it's pleased God through
the foolishest of preaching to save them that believe. We preach
the gospel not only here, but we preach the gospel also by
other means. And God has given us in this
day of technology such good means. Print, books. We've been on the
radio now for over 20 years preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ. Well, how much success has your radio ministry had?
I'm not interested in the success of it. I'm interested in declaring
the message of the Gospel. The success of it is in the hand
of God. If He blesses it, that's fine. And He will bless His Word
to the hearts of His people. The last ten years we've been
preaching the Gospel over the Internet, all over the world. Over a million downloads on our
sermon audio site. All over the world. Usually each
month between 58 and 60 foreign countries. Most of these places,
a lot of them I've never even heard of. And yet the Gospel goes out
from this place right here. We must be about our Father's
business. God uses the means of the preaching of the Gospel
to call out His people. call out his sheep. The Lord
said, I must preach the gospel of the kingdom. You remember
what Paul said, I brought the message a few weeks ago? What
will it done to me if I don't preach the gospel? You see, it's
an absolute must that we must preach the gospel of the kingdom
of God. God who is king of all the earth. Now here's the second thing that
we see in the book of Luke that the Lord must do. In Luke chapter
9, Luke verse 18. Luke chapter 9, Luke chapter 9 verse 18. The
Lord must suffer many things for us as a sacrifice for our
sin. Luke 9 verse 18, And it came
to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him,
and he asked them, saying, Whom say ye? Whom say the people that
I am? They answering said, Well, some
think of John the Baptist. John had been killed by Herod.
Some thought that the Lord was a recarnation of John, but some
say that you're Elijah. Elijah had been dead many years.
Others say that you're one of the old prophets that's risen
again. But he said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter
answering said, The Christ of God. And he straightly charged
them, commanded them, saying, Tell no man that thing, saying,
The Son of Man must There's that word again. He must suffer many
things. He must be rejected of the elders.
That was true. It happened that he came into
his own. His own received him not. They set away with him,
crucified him. And the chief priest and scribes,
they went out and held a council how they would destroy him. He
must suffer many things. He must be slain. He must die
for our sin. And he must be raised again the
third day. Now this is a must. This is an
absolute must. Why must he suffer like no other
man? Nobody suffered like this man,
the Lord Jesus Christ suffered. Why is he called the man of sorrow
and acquainted with grief? Why must he suffer like no one
else? I know this from reading the
record of Scripture. He never deserved to suffer,
did he? He went about doing good and
healing those. He healed all those who had need
of healing. He went about doing good. He
never harmed anyone. He fed thousands and gave sight
to the blind and caused the lame to walk, raised the dead. He
never harmed anyone. He went about doing good. The
scripture says of Him, He had no sin, knew no sin, and did
no sin. But yet we see the Lord Jesus
Christ, the God-man, suffer like no other. Not only does He suffer
at the hands of men, And he did. When he was arrested, oh, they
mistreated him, didn't they? They plucked out his beard. They
spit in his face. They plaited a crown of thorns
and crushed it down on his head. They took a reed and hit him,
a rod and hit him. They mocked him as a king. They
mocked him as a priest. Oh, he suffered at the hands
of men, nailed to a tree, a spear put through his side. He suffers
like no other. Isaiah says of him, his visage
so marred, he didn't even look like a man. But more importantly,
we must see that he suffers, not only at the hands of men,
but he suffers at the hands of God. You see, it wasn't what
men did that's our hope, it's what God was doing at the cross,
that's our hope. Turn back over here to Isaiah
53 for a moment. You see, it pleased Pilate to
bruise him, didn't it? It pleased the Roman soldiers
to crucify another Jew. They delighted in that. But look
what it says in Isaiah 53 verse 10. It pleased the Lord to bruise
him. Jehovah. He put him to grief
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin. That's why
he's suffering. He made his soul guilty for sin. He shall see his seed, his people,
his elect. He shall prolong his days. The
Lord raised him from the dead. And the pleasure of the Lord
shall prosper in his hand. Look at verse 11. He shall see
the travail of his soul and shall be satisfied. By his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many, for he shall bear their
iniquity." That's why he suffers. God made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of
God in him. We've been studying in our Bible
study on Sunday morning through 1 Peter. And it says there in
1 Peter 2 verse 24 that He bare our sin and His own body on the
tree. And then in chapter 3 of 1 Peter
verse 18 it said that Christ also once suffered for our sin
for the unjust that He might bring us to God. You see, He
must suffer for our sin or we'll never be justified before God. will never be brought before
God justified, will never be righteous before God without
the Lord Jesus Christ doing something about our sin. He suffers like
no one ever did because He's suffering for the sin of all
His people that were laid upon Him. He suffers the hell of God's
wrath to put away our sin. He suffered unto death, even
the death of the cross. He must be slain. You see what it says in verse
22? The Son of Man, who is the Son of God, must suffer many
things, and He suffers unto death. He must be slain. What does sin demand? The wages
of sin is death. The soul that sinneth, the law
says, must die. The Lord Jesus Christ, with all
of our sin laid upon Him by God the Father, is guilty on account
of our sin, and the guilty must die. That's why He died. as the
Lamb of God that takes away our sin. There's no other way for
atonement to be made, no other way for God's justice to be satisfied,
no other way for God to be just and justify the ungodly, to be
a just God and Savior, but through the Lord Jesus Christ, He must
suffer. You see that? He must suffer. He suffers the wrath of God that
we might never suffer. justified forever. He died that
we might live forever. As a matter of fact, the scripture
said because He lives, we shall live in Him. The text also says
there in Luke 9 verse 22 that He must suffer, He must be slain,
put to death in the flesh, but thank God it doesn't end there.
He must be raised from the dead. Must be. must be. You see, He
was delivered for our offenses and raised again for our justification. He must be raised from the dead. He said, I'm He that liveth and
was dead, behold, I'm alive forevermore. Delivered for our offenses, but
raised again because He justified us. Our sins were laid upon Him,
but having made complete atonement for our sin, the full weight
of God's law exacted its full penalty, death. He put away sin
by the sacrifice of Himself. There was nothing to hold Him
in the grave. His body saw no corruption those three days it
laid in the tomb. His body saw no corruption. Now when you die, this body corruption
sets in immediately. You don't want to touch a dead
body. Ask Brother Pruitt. He embalmed thousands and thousands
of bodies. Don't touch a dead body because
it contaminates immediately. The Lord Jesus Christ saw no
corruption in his Dead body, when they took his lifeless body
down from a tree, his spirit went back to God, his soul went
back to God, but they put his body in the tomb. But it saw
no corruption. You know why? Had no sin. He put away sin by the sacrifice
of him. Death couldn't hold him. He's raised again because he
justified us. You see, he must preach the gospel. He was God's prophet to tell
us the truth, to reveal the way of God's salvation unto us. And
then He must suffer to put away our sin. He must die for our
sin, but He must be raised again. Now here's the third one. Turn
to Luke 24. Luke chapter 24. And there's
many others that we could look at, but I'm limiting myself to
these four things. In Luke 24, verse 44, Luke 24, 44, the last chapter
in the book of Luke. He said unto them, now this is
the resurrected Lord, teaching his disciples before he ascends
back to the Father, these are the words which I spake unto
you while I was yet with you, that all things, here's that
word, must, must be fulfilled, which are written in the law
of Moses. You remember the Lord said Moses
wrote about me. And in the prophets, to him give
all the prophets witness, Isaiah, Jeremiah. And in the Psalms,
David wrote about, the Lord is my shepherd, and they're all
concerning me. He said, I must fulfill all the
scripture concerning me. And the Lord Jesus Christ on
Calvary Street said, it is finished. I must be about my father's business. You see, He died for our sins
according to the Scriptures. He died for our sins according
to the Scriptures. All the Old Testament Scriptures
picture the way of salvation through a substitute going all
the way back to Adam's redemption when God killed an animal to
clothe him. That's the picture of the Gospel.
You see that? The Lord fulfilled every type
and picture of salvation. It was always through the blood.
God said, when I see the blood, I'll pass over you. The Lord
Jesus Christ fulfilled all the types we see all through the
Old Testament. Personal type, providential type,
and ceremonial type. The Lord Jesus Christ is the
fulfillment of that Passover lamb. You remember? They were
to take that blood of that lamb, put it up many days, and take
the blood from that lamb and put it on the lintel and the
doorpost. And God said, when I see the
blood, they were to go into that house and sit down. All the firstborn
in Egypt that didn't have the blood on the door died. Those who had the blood on the
door, provided by God, the Lord said, I'll pass over you. God
said, when I see the blood, I'll pass over you. And the apostle,
when he write to the Corinthians, said, Christ, our Passover, is
sacrificed for us. Oh, to when Christ can be found
in him. You see, he's a fulfillment of
that picture, the Passover lamb. Not only that, the smitten rock.
When they were out in the wilderness those many years, God told Moses
to smite the rock, and out of that rock came the living water.
And that water, they say, that river followed them those 40
years through the wilderness. The Lord Jesus Christ is that
smitten rock, and out of Him comes the water of life. He told
that woman at the well, you drink of that natural water, you'll
thirst again, but you drink of that water that I will give you,
be in a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Remember
what she said? Lord, give me that water. The Lord Jesus Christ is the
fulfillment of that smitten rock. The Lord Jesus Christ is the
fulfillment of that manna that fell from heaven. Every day,
except that seventh day. They went out and gathered the
manna every day that fell from heaven. It was called angel's
food. And they had gathered that manna
and they lived on that manna for 40 years. And the Lord Jesus
Christ said, I am the bread of life. He that cometh to me shall
never hunger. He that believeth on me shall
never thirst. The Lord Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of
all those things. Now you're right there in Luke
24. Turn a couple pages to John chapter three. You remember when
they were in that wilderness journey for 40 years, and they
began to murmur against the Lord and His good providence, and
God sent fiery serpents among them? You can read about it in
the book of Numbers chapter 21. But in John chapter 3, look at
verse 14. As Moses lifted up the serpent
in the wilderness, even so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life. The Lord Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of that brazen
serpent lifted up on a pole, and those who were bitten with
that fiery poison were to look to that serpent, and those who
looked lived. And the Lord Jesus Christ is
the fulfillment of that serpent lifted up. And if he be lifted
up, turn to John chapter 12. The Lord said in verse 32 of
John 12, and I, if I be lifted up from the earth will draw all
unto me. You see that word M-E-N has been
added. He will draw all his sheep unto
him through the gospel. As Moses lifted up the serpent
in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up."
You see, the Lord Jesus Christ said, all things must be fulfilled,
which are written in the Law of Moses, in the prophet, in
the Psalm concerning me. Now, from Luke 24, go back to
Luke 19, Our brother Dan Culver was with us Thursday evening
and he brought a message from Luke 19. But we read here in
Luke 19 how the Lord Jesus Christ in his good providence arranged
things that day that he would cross the path of a publican,
the chief tax collector in that day. His name was Zacchaeus. And Zacchaeus ran before, verse
4, Luke 19, climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to
pass that way. And when the Lord Jesus came
to the place ordered of God, predestinated of God, he looked
up and saw him. Now this is not the first time
he saw Zacchaeus. He saw him in that eternal covenant
of grace. And said unto him, Zacchaeus,
he knows his sheep by name, make haste, come down, for today I
must. There's that word. I must abide
at thy house." Well, what happened? That was an irresistible, effectual
call. He said, Zacchaeus, make haste,
come down, I must abide, and he made haste, came down, and
he received him joyfully. The Lord Jesus Christ, here is
a must, the Lord Jesus Christ must cross our path with the
gospel and call us out of darkness into his marvelous light. He
said, my sheep, hear my voice. I know them and they follow me. Just as we read and studied about
in John chapter 4 where it says, he must needs go through Samaria. Why did he must needs go through
Samaria in John chapter 4? to meet the woman at the well.
You see, the Lord, the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, the Chief
Shepherd, is on the trail of the sheep, and He will cross
their path in time, and He will call them out if they must. If
He doesn't call me, I'm going to perish. If He doesn't save
me, I'm gone. He must cross our path. This
is what happened to Zacchaeus, and I love this statement here.
He said, for I must abide. I must abide. When he crosses
our path with the gospel and does that work of grace in our
heart, he doesn't do that and then leave us. He abides in us. You see, Christ in you is the
hope of glory. You see, our salvation is a must. In our salvation this is a must. Christ must abide within us and
thank God He does. Remember He said, I'll never
leave you, I'll never forsake you, I give unto them eternal
life and they shall never perish. Christ in you is a hope of glory. Christ must not only do a work
of salvation for us, this is the Father's business, He must be about His Father's
business, but He also must do a work of grace within us. God
who has begun a good work in you, He will finish it. This is the Father's business. The salvation that we experience
in the application is a heart work. We are kept by His notice,
I must abide at thy house. The Lord takes up residency in
our heart. He said, Lo, I'm with you always,
even to the end of the earth. We are kept by His abiding presence. He said, I'll never leave them.
I'll never forsake them. We are kept by His abiding power. I don't keep myself. You see,
we're kept by His power through faith. It's a gift of God. Now,
one last scripture. Let's turn to the book of Acts.
The book of Acts, chapter 4. And this goes along with this
last point here. In Acts chapter 4, you remember
Peter and John had healed a crippled man in the name of Christ, and
that man went leaping and praising God. Well, they got in trouble
about it. And Acts chapter 4 verse 8, Then
Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of
the people and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of
the good deed done to this impotent man by what means he is made
whole, Acts 4 verse 10, Be it known unto you all, and to all
the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
the one you crucified, the one God raised from the dead, is
to must, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole,
This is a stone which was set at nought of you builders, which
have become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in
any other, for there is none of the name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved." The Lord Jesus Christ accomplishing
the Father's business guarantees our salvation. We must be saved. His sheep cannot perish. Christ
must be our Savior because there's no other Savior, is there? Call
his name Jesus, he shall save his people from their sin. This
is the Father's business. This is the Lord's doing and
it's marvelous in our eyes. Christ must be our Savior and
he must save us because there's no other mediator between God
and men but the man Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ must be
our Savior because there's no other advocate with the Father
but Jesus Christ the righteous. Verse John 2, 1. Christ must
be our Savior and He must save us because there's no other Redeemer.
Is there? But the Lord Jesus Christ. And
He must be our intercessor. He ever lived to intercede for
us. This is a must. You see, we must be saved because
He finished the work the Father gave Him to do. You remember
in John 17? Remember what He prayed in John
17? Turn over there. John 17. Look
at verse 2. Thou hast given him power over
all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou
hast given him. And this is life eternal, that
they might know thee the only true God, Jesus Christ, whom
thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the
earth. I have finished the work. That's
the father's business. Did he get it done? Absolutely. I finished the work which thou
gavest me to do. How do we know? Look at verse
5. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self,
with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. He's not only raised from the
dead, but 40 days later, the body of the Lord Jesus Christ,
the glorified human body of the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to
glory and is seated at the right hand of God. And there He is. And there we are in Him. You
see, our salvation is a must. Salvation is not what we do for
God. Salvation is what God in Christ
has already done for us. He said it's finished. I must
be about my Father's business. He came to do the Father's business
and He said it's done. It's done. His blood, His righteousness
demands our salvation. We must be saved in Him.
