Why is faith in Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 18 sources

Faith in Christ is essential for Christians as it is the means through which they receive assurance of victory over sin and eternal life.

Faith in Jesus Christ is crucial for Christians because it is through this faith that believers receive confidence and assurance of their victory over sin and the world. The person who truly believes, receives, and trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ sees Him in His glory and fullness. This relationship underscores that the believer’s victories are not due to their own strength but solely because of their dependence on Christ, who has overcome all for them.
